Lovely room in a family house located in a peaceful neighbourhood in the historic town of Svaty Jur. Super clean and the owner was very easy to communicate with.

Really enjoyed our stay. Had room with very comfortable sofabed and balcony with chairs and tea service. Monika speaks/writes great English, making communication very easy. We also took her recommendation to climb to local castle ruins.

Shower-wand could use a wall-mount bracket.

The place is located in the historical part of Svaty Jur, in a side street. Therefore very quiet and pleasant, with a countryside feeling. The house is nicely refurbished and spacious, set in the middle of a big fruit tree garden with a view to the vineyards above. The host was communicative and caring. Upon arrival, she offered me a welcome cup of hot tea to make me warm in this cold weather. I got a room without balcony, it was a standard room, the bathroom is not attached directly to the room but located across the corridor. But that was no issue at all as the bathroom was very nice and spotlessly clean. Despite the somewhat retro furniture, or maybe thanks to it, the apartment gives you a home-feeling. A positive experience overall.

I stayed for one night but wish I could have stayed longer because this place is a real hidden gem! The apartment takes up the ground floor of a villa in Svaty Jur, a small but very pretty historic town in the wine region close to Bratislava. I am a wine aficionado so I visited one of the local wineries, but Svaty Jur is also a short drive to Bratislava so convenient for sightseeing. The apartment itself was spacious and super clean, and the host was great - very easy to communicate with and gave me some helpful tips around the area. There is also a large garden which I didn’t get to use much as the weather was quite cold, but I imagine it must be a nice place to relax during warmer months. Thanks for everything!
