Heather was such a lovely and helpful host.
The Appartement is perfectly equipped and cosy. Even a small private garden and a shared pool.
The area is so calm and peaceful. Perfect.
Best value for money.
Go and visit the Pukiki Bar 2km away as well.
Nice couple who runs the bar with incredible cocktails.

The house was absolutely beautiful and provided everything we needed for our stay. From the comfortable and cozy bedrooms to the fully equipped kitchen, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The decor and furnishings were stylish and modern, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Heather, our host, was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed and providing great recommendations.
As remote workers, we were pleased to find that the internet connection was strong and reliable, allowing us to easily stay connected and productive during our stay. This was a crucial factor for us, and we were not disappointed.
Overall, we had a truly unforgettable experience and we highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish home in Madeira.

We liked staying at Banda Do Sol very much. Everything was so comfortable! There were so much blooming and sweet smelling flowers everywhere in the yard. Location was very good, weather was always good. Heather, the host, is really nice and helpful!!! We stayed here for a week with my husband and 7 and 14 years daughters - they enjoyed their stay a lot. We highly recommend Banda Do Sol and we definitely will come back!!!

It is a perfect place for a holiday trip! Lovely owner, beautiful view, nice swimming pool, good weather, nice room, kitchen with everything that you need, private garden. We had a good time, thank you

Everything was just great! The accommodation is very well situated in a small, calm and cozy village, the ocean view is just stunning! Having a car your stay will be more comfortable, there is a parking lot at the garden. We stayed in apartment and it was clean, nice and very well equipped by everything you need. But the best was our lovely host Heather, she was very kind and made us feeling like being at home. I would 100% recommend to stay here, and if we arrive again, I hope this accommodation will be available :). Also the location is great, you are close to all the island highlights, to go to Funchal it takes about 35-40min by car. There is a shop and restaurant in the village.

Cozy cottage located in a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful area, with a magnificent view. It was equipped with everything we needed (and more) for a comfortable, pleasant stay (inc. laundry machine, basics for cooking, kitchen utensils, beach towels...and even a barbecue in the garden). Heather was a superb host - very kind and attentive to all our needs and wishes. We were welcomed with a lovely gift bag with regional products from Madeira. We felt at home and will definitely stay there again if we ever come back to Madeira. We couldn't have asked for better!
Obs.: a car/motorbike is needed.

The host Heather is the most amazing person I have ever met! She is kind and gave us so many great ideas on where to go. The cottage we stayed in was the perfect size for 2 people and it was fully stocked. We had everything we needed and more! The bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave. The pool was very nice and the backyard was manicured very well. We will definitely be back!

Heather is a very nice host, welcomes you personally and gives all the help and advises you ask for.
The Studio was fully equipped and has a very comfortable double bed. So perfect for 2 persons.
The view from our lovely private garden on the mountains and the ocean was superb.
We especially liked the very quiet surroundings, but with a car shops, restaurants and the beach of Calheta are very nearby (10-15 minutes).
That we had to leave too soon...
So we have to come back.

Heather belongs to best rated hosts! She always takes care for your convenience and desires immediately and can give very helpful advices for Madeira in general! She will welcome you even if you arrive late and she will say goodbye even in the earliest morning. Absolutely reliable in any aspect!
Banda do Sol is perfectly equipped for self-accommodation and has quick access to a nearby small, but also well equipped, supermarket.

Heather was the best host we ever had,welcome pack was prepared for us, we even got some flowers from her garden to grow back home. The villa is large and comfortable,lovely view of the ocean,only 7 minutes drive from Calheta beach.

We stayed over christmas for a week. The communication before arrival was good. The self contained appartment was fully equipment with really everything you need. Not only kitchen utensil but also things like oil, salt etc. The bed was huge with one cover but extremely comfortable! Our appartment had also a small terrace. It was possible to use the washing machine. A parking place is available on the site. You defenitely need a car like everywhere in Madeira as the house is located on a step slope. Very convenient was the nearby supermarket. We explored at our stay nearly the whole Western part of the island. Heather the land lady made our stay very nice. She provided us with very useful Information everytime when we needed it. The place can highly be recommended! Thank you again!

For us it really was like home away from home, very comfortable and private, with great views and lovely swimming pool, it is a perfect location as long a you have a car, and Heather is the best host.
