The downstairs game room was a huge hit, sweet beach right out back, immaculate cleanliness, plenty of quiet, comfortable beds, hot water, Wi-Fi, well-stocked kitchen, communication with Blue Skye Kim a dream - loved it all!

We had a group of nine and this house was perfect for our needs. Kim was very responsive and made sure we had a great stay. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant and a full service grocery store was only about a mile away. The game room was awesome and we saw plenty of wildlife between the house and the beach. We could have spent another week here without doing everything. We will stay here again when life brings us back to the Washington Coast!

This house was perfect for our extended family. It had everything we needed from kitchen equipment to beach wagons. Everyone said the beds were comfortable. Loved being able to walk to the beach, although it’s worth noting it’s not a short walk so those with limited mobility may want to drive. It’s pricey, but worth it for a chance to all be together under the same roof!

This is a great house for a large gathering of families with kids. They loved the game room, which gave the adults separate space to relax and visit. There was also plenty of room when we all gathered for meals. The beds and bedding were a hit with everyone. So comfy!

Great stay! We were there for a week for spring break. Not a great beach for beach combing but is a nice beach. House rules are a little overboard! Had a filter on when I booked for a hot tub they considered a jetted master bath tub a hot tub! Long Beach was a very cute town with lots to offer. Dylan’s bakery was amazing!

You never even have to leave if you didn't want to they take great care in having everything you need or want to make your stay great!!

Kim was a wonderful host. Was nice meeting her and the amazing hospitality. The house was great. Me and my cousins are on our 5th annual girl's getaway. This is our bonding time together, creating memories and our way to get away and be crazy together. If you stay here please know how much pride Kim has taking care of the house. The house is perfect for foodies, large families with kids and pets etc. Great access to the beach with all the beach toys provided. Lots of games and a full basement of activities for kids and adults. Fire pit stocked with lots of firewood. Perfect for sitting around and making s’mores etc. Back porch is perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets. Lots of chairs and tables available for around the fire pit and back porch. We had a family group of 10 at the house for a week, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The house is just as nice as the pictures show, and every room was clean upon arrival.
Positives: Plenty of room to spread out around the house. All beds were wonderful and felt brand new! Linens were plenty, of good quality, and clean. The views from the top floor are gorgeous, and from the ground floor are pretty great as well. You can watch the sunset from the back porch.
The kitchen was well stocked and nearly every utensil, pot, pan or appliance you need is there (though no ladle?). They even had some crab crackers and shucking knives.
The washer and dryer are huge. I will say, if one could somehow turn off the alert music on the dryer, it would be appreciated by most that follow :)
The basement was probably the second most used room after the kitchen. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and a full closet and dresser, and still felt big. The full bath downstairs is large and convenient. The pop-a-shot game was a hit for all, and I was told by one of our more informed group members that the foosball table was of very good quality (which is great because we used it a lot). The fridge, pool table, and ping pong table as well as library of DVDs were all pluses.
Cons: A few rooms could use more storage or hanging options for clothes.
Overall, it was a great home and we had a great time. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice, quiet, well appointed, largeplace to stay at the beach.

We had an amazing family reunion at this extraordinary beach house. You could tell from the minute you drove up, and then even more so after entering the house that the owners put lots of attention to detail, so that the guest experience is impeccable. The house was immaculate and was fully stocked at every turn with what our family could use and need. We cooked a beautiful meal and were able to enjoy the open concept kitchen for appetizers on the bar. The back deck was an amazing place together to watch the most glorious sunsets and then in the evening we had fun around the fire. The owner also stocks firewood, which we thought was really a nice touch as initially we were thinking we would have to go and get some in town not the case here… The beds were very comfortable And the whole family was ranting and raving after the first night so we knew that we chose well. I am a veteran in the industry with over 20 years as a property manager and renting a vacation rental can be scary, but I knew from the start that this home had excellent reviews and They definitely delivered. You will not regret renting this beach house. It is a dream… We will definitely come back again.

The beds were comfortable and you could tell that the owners go above and beyond to put attention to every detail in the house. Our family it was very comfortable, and everybody was very impressed with the accommodation. We would definitely stay here again. The back deck was so gorgeous to watch the sunset and the trail leading to the beach to the dunes was majestic. The fire pit in the front yard was another perk that was lovely for the evening. Time in the game room was just above and beyond fun .

The Blue Skyes beach house was as described, but better. It was furnished as if it was Kim's full-time home, not as a rental. Clean, well furnished, and tastefully decorated.
We had some difficulty in turning the heat on and called Kim. She promptly returned our call and was able to fix the problem via her phone. And as an unanticipated gesture our account was credited $250 for our inconvenience.
We were very fortunate to have Kim as the owner rather than having to deal with one of the management companies.
The beds were comfy, the linens luxury hotel grade, every imaginal kitchen utensil was available along with tasteful dining wear.

We spent a lovely week at Blue Skye's Beach House with a group of adults and teenagers. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space, and the game room was endlessly entertaining for the teens. The house was beautifully maintained and outfitted with everything we could have wanted during our week-long stay. The short trail to the beach made it convenient to make multiple trips to the beach each day. With a comfortable house and a beautiful beach, we hardly left the property all week. We have rented many houses up and down the Oregon and Washington coast, and this is now our favorite. We look forward to returning.

The owner put a lot into making the home cozy and welcoming. The house was extremely clean and well managed. The ocean is only a 3-5 minute walk from the back porch and you can hear the ocean waves from the house. There was plenty to do inside the the house and close to other attractions in that area. I would recommend this home to anyone.

This was our first experience renting a vacation home and this home was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. Very large and comfortable bedrooms and ample bathrooms. Detailed, informative and clear communications were provided. The owner responded to our questions immediately, we were well taken care of. Oceanfront relaxing home. Love this property- loved the feel of it, the windows, the ocean view. We would recommend this home to our family & friends. And hope we will have another opportunity to rent this property again.

We all enjoyed our stay at the this beautiful beach house. We surprised our mom with a family trip to the beach and she loved it, great fun for all was had and the basement game room is such a fun bonus! The kitchen was fully stocked with all your cooking needs, just bring your food. Tons of towels and washcloths for everyone, board games and even coloring crayons, coloring books and paper for the kids to draw their beach photos. We'll definitely be back! Book Club at the Ocean
We are a group of 4 couples who have had a book club since 1987. In 1991 we started going to the Long Beach Peninsula during January for a group get away. We have stayed in about 15 different locations from the old Sea View Resort to bed and breakfast to VRBO houses. Each new accommodation seems to improve our experience. This Blue Skyes house tops them all!! Each couple had their own bathroom and comfy private bedroom with no twin beds or bunks!! The house is beautiful with lovely decorative touches that makes it feel like a home, not a sparse rental space. Cozy fireplace was especially appreciated on a rainy day. The kitchen is well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We did bring things we thought might be missing, but found them duplicated, such as a crock pot! Our host, Kim, was wonderful and totally accessible. Her help was needed to reset the TV system and she walked me through the process on the phone. Very much appreciated. We definitely will return to this exceptional accommodation.
