A very quiet place and relaxing

Great place to relax

My wife really loved the hot tub. We did try to fish a little bit but was not sure what’s in the water but it was fun teaching my wife had a fish for. I’ve never taken her fishing before but we are able to walk around there and have fun, I did notice during the rain that there was a small leak in the back room sunroom. I did take a photo and will send it. Thank you so very much for working me through the communication aspect that I had trouble with.

We had a great time. The cottage was nice and very clean. Would stay there again for sure.

My husband and I stayed here, perfect for a couple, bed was firm and comfortable. Quiet peaceful, on a channel, close to both lakes. Would be a great place in the summer too I'm sure, especially if have a boat or jet ski.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would! My husband and I were looking for a nice, quiet getaway on the waterfront…this was everything we were looking for and more! One of our favorite parts was starting our day by sitting in the sunroom each morning, drinking coffee and just enjoying being with each other. The cottage has a homey feeling and everything from the bed to the recliners was so comfortable! Carol is very quick to respond and was very helpful in giving us suggestions and directions to places. I highly recommend this place!!!

If I could give 100 stars I would!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 Once agin everything was PERFECT!! We stayed here a couple of years ago & it was as beautiful & cozy as it was then!! Carol & her Husband are TOP TIER!!! I left a pair of slides on our last stay & to my surprise ahe saved them for me!!!! We had an issue ( user error on my part) and they responded & came in no time!!! YES WE WILL STAY AGAIN & AGAIN!!! Hands down the BEST GETAWAY IN HOT SPRINGS

My husband and I stayed her for our anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed/wanted. It was a short drive to Hot Springs but far enough away from the hustle of city life. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing around the house. Carol was responsive to every message and offered suggestions on area favs. Highly recommend!

We were there for a work trip and after along day this was an amazing place to come back to and relax! The view was spectacular and the accommodations were amazing. Carol was an amazing host and very helpful Will definitely stay there again when we are in the area!

Cozy Cottage was just that, cozy! We loved the cottage. It's about 20-25 mins from Hot Springs. Large outdoor deck with seating. Also had a lower deck for fishing in the lake or swimming in the lake. Cottage was clean, property manager was great and the cottage was spacious. I would definitely recommend!!!

The first thing I want to mention is Carol, the host of The Cozy Cottage, was so good about responding to my questions thru email & went above & beyond to help me! The house is located in a cove of the river/lake that is very quiet & has a very relaxing atmosphere. My husband & I took lawn chairs to sit out on the boardwalk right by the water every evening & watch the water, birds, turtles & lightening bugs. I fished & caught/released lots of blue gill on red worms & night crawlers. The house has very comfortable leather chairs in front of the tv. The bed is comfortable & a fan is provided in the bedroom. It was very nice having covered parking also. We were able to really relax & get away from our hectic lives but when needed, the wifi worked great. I would happily stay at The Cozy Cottage again!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage on the lake. The cottage was very clean and updated. We loved watching kayaks and boats ease by while enjoying the porch, deck and outdoor kitchen area. We would definitely recommend renting a kayak to fully enjoy this hidden gem. Carol was a perfect host. I don’t think we could have picked a better spot for a great weekend.

This place was clean and super nice. Close to Hot Springs. Check in was super easy. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The sun room was super nice early mornings and evenings and really cool during the rain! We would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was more beautiful than the pictures could represent. I love everything about it and most definitely would stay there again.

We had a great time at the Cozy Cottage. It is bigger than it looks in the photos and plenty of room for my wife and I to rest and relax. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom and even took to pedal boat out for a trip. The property was clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to visit the property again!

This little hideaway was an absolute gem! The cottage was larger inside than it looked and was very clean and well-cared for, so we had no problems making ourselves at home. The bed was so comfy and the towels so soft! We left our boat trailered in the driveway and felt very secure with the location. We were entertained by the blue gill and bass hiding in the shadows of the cove and even threw out a line! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of being on a cove (since Lake Hamilton was busy with the Memorial Day weekend crowd) and look forward to our next stay at Cozy Cottage!

We were looking forward to a great stay at the cottage. When we opened the door a mixture of strong air freshners with a moldy smell hit us. We were determined to stay so opened windows & turned fans on, also removed the air freshners. Went outside to give it time to clear but when we returned the moldy mildew smell was still very present. Since wifi wasn't working we had to drive up the road to be able to contact the host. Told host even in the few minutes we were there I experienced a headache & nausea. We felt it was not safe to stay there and vacated the premises. The odor remained in our clothes. Her only remedy was to deny the issues saying there is no mold that it had cedar and it is on the water. Would only refund one out of three nights. Other reviews state same experience.

Place was better than described and now one of my favorite places. Owner very responsive and a pleasure to speak with. I will be back

Stayed here for a week and would highly recommend to anyone going to the Hot Springs area. The house is charming and has everything you need for your stay. Very nice outdoor patio, along with a dock in front of the house. Owners were there shortly after we arrived to see if we needed anything and to also to give us a heads up that we might be getting some bad weather that night, which was appreciated. I’d give it a 10 out of 10!!

My husband and I recently stayed at this property and we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. This cottage has everything you need both inside and out. Check in was smooth and the house itself was super clean. The owners were great and very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again.

Wow, just wow! What an incredible experience! First off Carol was the best! She answered any and all questions and since this was our first Vrbo rental, I had several! She stayed in constant contact on our check in day as we were arriving a little late and there were really bad storms and tornado warnings in the area! When we arrived we were in shock, the house was so beautiful, the photos do not do it justice! The house was homey and comfortable with just the right amount of personal touches! Carol had coffee so morning was covered ..important for the survival of the day)The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows (very important to me!) I loved the sun room and the soaking tub! My husband was able to fish and we enjoyed the deck ( I have put in a request for him to make me one like it at home) We saw what I believe was an otter swim by! The kitchen.. omg the kitchen love love love it! We both agree this would be the perfect retirement house for us! We look forward to the next time we can come down! Carol you have set a standard for hosts and I am a bit nervous none will compare! We were warned by friends that a lot of times the pictures are better than the actual house and to not get our hopes up.... they were wrong, so very wrong!

The Cozy Cottage is a very good place to have a restful and relaxing vacation. It has a good location close to several parks and lakes. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back another time.

The cottage was more than what we expected, great access to the property, super quiet neighborhood, It was the perfect getaway.

The Cozy Cottage is exactly as described. It is a peaceful little spot right on the water. Carol is a wonderful host and more than willing to answer any questions you have. The cottage is clean and definitely a great little get away spot. I would recommend renting the kayaks Carol offers and going down to see the water. We had a wonderful time relaxing and taking in the beauty of nature.

We had such a relaxing time, my partner wasn't able to get out as much so he stayed in and enjoy that awesome view from the recliner. He got all the well needed rest while I enjoyed the pier. The water was great, nice and cool. I can't say enough about how beautiful the place is. Everything we needed was there. We went out each night to dinner and found it easy to get into and around Hot Springs, which was a major plus. We were only a short drive to many great places to eat. I'm planning on coming back in the fall and sure to bring my fishing poles. The fish are waiting. I recommend stopping in to enjoy this wonderful little place along the water. You can't feel anything but peace and relaxation.

The home was very clean and well equipped for cooking. The weather was hot, but the water is very cool and refreshing. Cozy, quiet, clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay there again.

Property was further from amenities than anticipated but Clean and well kept. Nice decorations and well stocked. the kitchen utensils were just ok.
