We found the rental very comfortable with easy walking to the beach. A TV on the main floor would have been appreciated as one of our family members has difficulty with stairs. Upstairs was fantastic with a nice view of the ocean and sunsets.

The house was amazing. Clean with amazing views from upstairs (keep watch for whale spray)! It was spacious and allowed for our family to spread out when we weren't out exploring. The kiddos loved the play room area upstairs. We loved that it was in walking distance to some excellent restaurants and cute shops. My mom and aunt particularly loved the Bead Shop down the street. BJ's ice cream was delicious! The garden was lovely (all the plants/gardens in OR that we saw were lovely and we loved the wildness of them). Everything in the house worked great and it looked even better in person than in the pictures. If we come back to Newport, I would be looking to book this house again.

The house is a very old house that has had a major uplift but retains its historic profile. Our family of five had plenty of room for quiet time apart and comfortable locations when we wanted to be together. The kitchen has a great range. The many windows in the upstairs showed us the beauty of the beach and the sunset. We enjoyed the sandy beach, the quaint shops and comfortable restaurants. The location, just a short walk away from the beach and the shops, was delightful. We drove to a few restaurants and took a Sea Life cruise, both just minutes away. We saw whales, picked up shells, walked on the beach at night. The balmy weather was a welcome relief from our 100+ temperatures at home. Loved it!

Wonderful house for a weekend at the coast! Location was fabulous and the house was clean and comfortable with a lovey view from the second floor. Kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

As others have said the view was fabulous. The location to the beach and town was fabulous! The Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Science center, Yaquina Lighthouse is close and so much more!!

This house is cozy AND spacious. We watched the sunset from the upstairs every night. It is so close to the heart of Newport and yet quiet. I will be re-booking soon.

We LOVED the house, the area, everything about it! The house was clean, spacious, had a wonderful little yard and beach toys to use. The views from upstairs were amazing and, we could hear the ocean with the windows open. We will be back with the rest of our family to enjoy the house and the area. Great place! 5 stars!

Very clean property. Great location.

Very nice upper level with excellent view of ocean. However, it could do with some window coverings for both daytime and nighttime tv viewing. Also, a standing reading lamp in main floor living room would allow one to read there. The owner did inquire if everything was OK to which we responded: yes. It did not seem that there was much they could do on such short notice re these issues. Be advised light sleepers may find it difficult to sleep in the northeast bedroom due to heat pump outside the window.

Clean, well-maintained, comfortable beds, and an incredible location! It's an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and the center of Nye Beach shops. I could've spent the entire day upstairs watching the ocean and birds soaring in the wind. The upstairs couch is great for afternoon naps. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

Incredible views, cute little town, delicious food nearby, gorgeous beach within walking distance. Great for kids! Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Excellent house, excellent location - only issue for a light sleeper is that the far bedroom has a heat pump or the like just outside the window. Moved upstairs and slept on the futon for the duration of the stay

We really enjoyed the close in location of this Newport home and it was really easy walking about in the Nye Beach area. The upstairs living area provided a great view of the ocean and a bright place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. We took our 4 year old grandson and the upstairs activity area was a big hit with him.

The house was amazing!! The view from the upstairs living room is so beautiful. The house was clean, check in was easy and everything is within walking distance. Unfortunately we had something come up and had to leave early, however we will be back. We are already figuring out when we can do this again. I highly recommend this property. Diedra was hands down amazing in getting back to me on all my questions. Can't wait to go back!

We felt pampered during our stay. The home was very comfortable and really met every need. It's spacious and homey and the location really can't be beat. You can watch the surf or birdwatch from the upstairs living room (binoculars provided), and walk two blocks to find excellent coffee and pastries. We highly recommend this spot, especially for families, and we will absolutely rent again.

Great experience. It was like being at home but still knowing we were on vacation. We got to experience the OR coast and are thankful we were able to stay in this awesome house. Will be back again for sure.

We enjoyed the house and it really is in a great location. Kitchen and Dining area were quite nice. We felt there was almost too much common space and the property could really benefit from another bedroom or additional pull out couches. The upstairs common area is beautiful but the big windows could benefit from some blinds (the afternoon sun is almost too bright but of course in the winter that would be a different situation and the large unobstructed windows may be more appreciated). Only other minor issue was the house was insufficiently stocked with some items like soap and toilet paper (provided but was just not enough for full group full tome we were there). Otherwise house was clean and Deidre was very helpful and accommodating. Overall I would recommend this property for others.

Great location, The upstairs room is very open and the view is amazing, comfy couch. The house itself is a bit odd with the additions and it pretty dated based on the nightly price. An outside seating area would be nice. Owners were very responsive.

Every year, my girlfriend’s and I rent a home in Nye Beach for a little getaway. We have done this for several years and this house is by far and away our favorite! The 2nd floor upstairs with the ocean views is AMAZING! Check in was smooth and the owner was very responsive and accommodating. When we arrived, there was a box of chocolates waiting for us as a gift! The house is huge and extremely clean and so cute! We are definitely going to be staying again next year and several of my friends have already asked for the link to the home to rent for their own vacations!

The absolute best part about this house was the 2nd floor. The room has large windows all around giving the room so much natural light. A large window overlooks the ocean, so you can relax after a long day of playing and watch the sunset from the couch. Whenever we were in the house, we were in that room (apart from when we were cooking, eating, or sleeping). The entire house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and the stove/oven are great. There is an additional downstairs room - so there is plenty of space to hang out and relax. The house is also a very short walk from the beach and from the Nye Beach district (with some really awesome restaurants and shops). Deidre and Brian were very easy to communicate with and the check-in process was straight forward.
