Toen ik vroeg in de middag, zoals gepland, aankwam, was er niemand. Het pand was geheel verlaten. Ook kon ik ze telefonisch niet bereiken. Ik had vooraf voor 3 nachten betaald. Noodgedwongen na een paar uur proberen elders kamer gaan zoeken. Pas om 18.00 reageerde ze op de telefoon.. Ze hadden zich in de dag vergist. Hiervoor als waardering van mij een 1. Als compensatie kon ik een kamer kiezen. Deze was wel ruimer dan de anderen, maar kon helaas niet op slot bij het naar buiten gaan, En zelfs niet dicht. Alleen van binnen uit, dat is dan wel prettig 's nachts. Omdat het toch een prettig verblijf was. Ondanks een zeer slecht begin, toch een voldoende, Voor alles wat wel goed was.

This place is like a museum in positive meaning. Hundred of old, original artefacts from doors to window frames. You simply don't know where to look. Lots of craftsmen skills examples everywhere. If you are lucky enough to stay in the front room, the best view possible.

Property wise - nothing . Place is perfect to every detail. 11/10 Idriss however is a shame to Morocco 😞 In comparison to other places of significant importance its simply .... dirty. Shame on you Council, clean your gem and you can easily compete with Chefchuan.

The location was amazing, authentic traditional interior, very friendly staff, I easily felt at home. The view from the terrace is breathtaking with the medina on one side and Volubilis on the other, well furnished.

I got one of the small rooms so the bathroom was a bit small but it's not a big deal just a small inconvenience.

Excellent authentic Moroccan Dar very beautiful with all details and decorations. very quiet ،bohemian،and romantic. great for couples or Family with children. I do prefer to stay in Dar Ines(Moulay Idress) to visit Mekenes and around and not the opposite.Nice village with nice authentic Moroccan culture no one disturb and best quality of food.highly recommended.
