Very spacious flat. Staff very friendly. Excellent location. Good value for money. Very convenient and secure on-site parking.
In master bedroom, plug on the one side of the bed are behind the headboard and difficult to connect a phone charger. Would be nice to have a short extension to give easier access.

1. Breakfast was not included, but there is a vibey coffee shop right at the hotel's entrance that serves good coffee and breakfast. The spot is also in easy walking distance to any type of food you can think of.
2. Apartment is very spacious. modern and comfortably furnished.
3. TV is connected to the wi-fi, so we had access to all streaming facilities.
4. Aircon in the apartment was great. Since the hotel is on a main road, not needing to open windows for cool air was a bonus.
5. Block-out curtains in the bedrooms was a big plus.
1. The concierge service at the hotel was hmm...
2. There is an additional R2000 breakage deposit that is requested upon arrival. Although I was messaged about this after I booked, I didn't see the message until I arrived. This aspect could have been handled in a better way.
3. This is a "self-service" apartment and we did not have any cleaning service. This was not a big issue for us, but best that other travellers note this.

The location. It's a walking distance to Woolworths (Where we could purchase our own Shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper and other toiletries which was supposed to have been provided at apartment)
There are lovely restaurants and ice cream shops downstairs
-Yolander was not available to meet us on arrival so she was unable to inspect the apartment before handing it over to us.
-The Apartment was not ready for us at check in time ( 3pm). Waited almost 2 more hours while the cleaner finished her meal (which was half eaten and placed in the middle of the dining table as we entered) while ironing up the linen to dress the beds and towels from the dryer and wash up the dirty dishes left by previous guests🤷♀️
I had to ask the cleaner to sweep out the visibly filthy balcony (which she was aware of but overlooked until I had asked for it to be done) and was also sent a prepaid electricity pin by Yolander on whatsapp to pass onto her which I had to end up punching in myself.
- We weren't given 2 parking bays like we requested until after one of our cars (which had to be parked on the street) was broken into at 1 30am
-This isn't a serviced apartment (which we took for granted as we booked through booking.com)
Daily cleaning only is a separate charge of R350
Daily cleaning and linen change is R700 per clean
-We were left with just 1 set of bath and hand towels each which we were expected to use for our entire 3 night stay there...
There were a few extra beach towels which were horribly smelly.
-No Shampoo and Conditioner provided as stipulated
The Woolworths shea butter handwash at the basin was watered down and smelly (very deceiving as that definitely was not a woolies product in there)
The liquid soap and body lotion left in the shower also smelt really bad.

cleanliness was terrible and staff response was extremely poor. Communication was not easy. some days no back power available since they was loadshedding. The owner intervene after booking.com inform him about my discomfort to sort out the issues.

The space in this property was fantastic, the location great, great area and safe, staff very very friendly at reception

lacked general upkeep, there were no curtains in the main bedroom that could be seen from the road. the towels given were stained purple. just a general lack of proper maintenance as well as deep cleaning of the carpets and sofas.

The location was great. Safe area near great restaurants and supermarkets. Apartment spacious and in a beautiful building. Very friendly doorman, coffee great at the coffee shop. Secure parking.
The apartment needs maintenance. AC didn't work, no windows to open. Toilet seat, soap holder, freezer (when we arrived) broken, one and only window couldn't open. Chair in living room and bathroom fan very dirty. Main bedroom duvet inner lumpy. It has potential to be great with basic maintenance done. Had a lovely stay regardless.

We were left with rooms without air conditioning during our all stay, instead we were provided with fans, which was very inconvenient considering that it was very hot.

We he no idea there was to be load shedding as we do not live in South Africa and we all woke up at 3 am dying of the heat as aircons went off. In a building like that there should be generators

It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants and convenient to have a Woolworths Food a block away. The roof top pool area was great, lovely views.
On the day we arrived, Belinda that checked us in took our deposit without giving us a receipt, this is very unprofessional.
There are many things wrong in the apartment and it really needs some maintenance.
The spare beds duvet inner was a double size and the cover the king. Sleeping 2 people was unpleasant.
The dining room chair's legs are wobbly and also very uncomfortable.
The couch is ridiculously small and very uncomfortable. (For the price paid I expected at least decent lounge furniture so we could chill and watch movies).
The white chair in the lounge was so dirty we didn't want to sit on it and the other chair might look good but its not comfortable at all.
Some of the towels are threadbare and need to be replaced.
The dustbin in the kitchen is broken, the cupboard where the fridge is in, is difficult to open and close.
The wall shelf in the lounge looks like it is about to fall off.
The carpets look very tatty and either need to be replaced or repaired.
Yolanda who came to collect the keys on the day we checked out was 35 minutes late, we had a flight to catch and this made us late.
I do not mind paying for a luxury stay but it at least needs to be above a certain standard. It is a really lovely apartment and has so much potential.
I hope this review is taken constructively as this is a really lovely apartment and it was very clean but there is definitely some maintenance issues and improvement needed.

The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. Both bedrooms ensuite was nice. The location is central with restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Walking distance to the V&A.
Can be a little noisy on the main road and the back bedroom a little dark. But since we were out all day and only home at night, we didn't notice it much.

Updated apartment with a very good location and close to everything. As there is no reception where we can leave the bags for the day the lady did allow us to leave the bags in the room while we had some breakfast.
Upon arrival all the towels were wet and we had to dry them before we could use it. The apartment uses prepaid electricity and the power went out around 9am on the day we checked out and were left in the dark.
