Especially the cleanliness and that everything you could possibly need was there. Very thought through and very nicely furnished and equipped. The flow and the ambience throughout the whole house was impressive.

If I have to mention something, the cutting knives could be a bit sharper ;)

Great house, well equipped

The house was spacious, very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very friendly owner. We had a wonderful stay and can recommend the accomodation without hesitation.

clean and newly renovated house with lots of amenities located in a residential neighborhood. very friendly and hospitable owner with an eye for detail. 20minutes from maastricht and 10 min from historical center of Rekem with nice restaurants (by car). supermarket at 500m from the house.

very warm upstairs in the bedrooms (airco will be installed late ‘20). the noise of the motorway that runs 200m behind the house is quite noticeable when sitting in the garden. The house itself is very well insulated, no noise noticeable.

The hosts were very welcoming, and even came back to provide us with some local cherries and strawberries after we asked for some advice on how to source fruit locally. The house had all amenities and facilities to use as a home away from home. It's in a good location, with the possibility to visit Maastricht, Liege, the Hoge Kempen and other sights and locations within a few minutes. It is very well laid out and the kitchen was fully stocked, with everything except food. There was a barbecue outside to use, along with an outdoor table, and a seating area with a huge umbrella which was great when the sun came. There is a large garden and it is fully fenced - we brought our two dogs and they were able to run around freely in the grass. The hosts were very welcoming when it came to bringing dogs, as they had water bowls, an extra bed for dogs, towels for dogs and anything that would have been needed.

There was some noise in the local area - some of this might have been because of the beautiful weather. On many evenings, there were motorbikes on the main road - not directly outside the house, but the N78 about 200 metres away - and some of them were driving even after 10PM at night because of the excellent weather and late sunlight around the summer solstice.
