This is an amazing boutique hotel - as featured in Mr and Mrs Smith and has won an assortment of awards. We booked a suite. We loved the reception, lobby and spa.

There was a major issue in Valetta with power cuts and despite it being 34 degrees our suite had NO aircon. This made for a very very uncomfortable night. The hotel already agreed to refund the entire cost of the stay, and the staff especially Kriza (duty manager) we’re exceptional. They agreed to a full refund, organised our transfer the next morning and despite the challenges made our short stay bearable, because of their professionalism and support.

The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful when arranging our airport transport.

Amazing view from the rooftop restaurant. The airconned room was the perfect zen space after a day of sightseeing. We were given a complementary massage.Fantastic location in the heart of the old streets.

The experience was magical. The location is convenient and has a great view of the Harbour. Wonderful staff ensured that the room was not only clean but also smelt divine. Great assortment of amenities, drinks and snacks were available as part of the room and the room was basically an immaculate apartment. The restaurant accompanying the hotel serves food fit for royalty. Simply unforgettable experience.

The switches to control the temperature, lights, floor heating and intercom were a little convoluted and a simple guide may have been helpful.

This hotel is one of the best hotels we stayed. Upon checkout, I saw Forbes Outstanding plaque on the wall and was informed by the staff that this is the only hotel rated Outstanding in Malta and one of only 39 in Europe! Service is excellent. We travelled with an 11 month old baby but not once did I feel challenged around the hotel. It is so clean and everyone is helpful. We had to call the room service several times to heat our baby’s food and whenever we called them, they were literally at the door in less than 2 minutes. Location is superb as well. It is at walking distance from all the restaurants and pubs and the ferry terminal is just around the corner. Breakfast is amazing with an incredible view.

If I really had to pick.. it would be the gym located in a separate building across the street. It would have been nice to have a view from the gym as well but this is me being very very picky.

Perfect location. Modern but quirky. Beautifully appointed. Staff were so accomodating. We did the degustation at ION in house restaurant….amazing 5⭐️

The location was close to everything but avoided the hordes of day trippers. The views from the restaurant were amazing. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff were exceptional.

This hotel is fantastic. The restaurant, the facilities, the location, the rooms. I would not stay anywhere else in Malta. The hotel staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional. The staff went way above to provide an amazing experience.

The service and attention to detail are amazing. Professional staff and great food. The suite was impeccable. Spa service is very good and a very relaxing atmosphere is present. The manager Daniel was present when we arrived and when we left. The ION is simply fantastic, from the manager to the staff they offer a one of a kind experience that is coupled to this amazing location.

It was too brief. I wish I could stay here forevermore.

The hotel was amazing.

Only possible comment is that it would have been nice to have space on the terrace to sit and read with a drink or coffee.

Lovely location and great equipped gym.

Post check-out service. Had the sense that once the bill was paid, so was the nice treatment by the desk staff. I brought a college with me when I collected my luggage and was made to wait for "someone else" to get it despite having sat and enjoyed a drink (we paid for) in the lounge. Ended up insisting after 15 minuets we REALLY needed to leave and could we please have my luggage. Was a bit of shame after a super time and excellent desk service to find hair dressers etc.

Well appointed room with all the amenities you may need. Great and smiling staff. Larger than must other hotel room you can find in Valletta.

Great location .. Staff were excellent .. Room was clean … Friendly Boutique .. Spa service was bliss .. I would recommend Gozo - Victoria is beautiful .. Some great restaurants too .. Great place for a special treat !
