The location, the grounds, the room and the restaurant and bar.
Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors. There are quiet hours though.

It was a one night stay so we picked a day when weather would be nice for us to go to the pool. We were at the pool only an hour when they closed it because of a pump issue.

We like the staff and the gardens including the view
They did not do room service and you had to request it. The did not change linen or towels you had to request it. They run out of certain towels. There were bugs in the room and on the bed.

The location is beautiful and provides a very nice view of the Hudson.
The staff are incompetent. We had no house keeping service during our entire 5 day stay—I even had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper. That’s after two days of calling the front desk, letting the phone ring endlessly without an answer, and explicitly requesting and being told my room would be cleaned twice. Room service website was broken, TV had no way to watch Netflix, and the staff were unprofessional at every interaction.

it’s hardly a spa. there are no spa facilities except for massages (with no prices listed). no pool, no jacuzzi, no steam room, no relaxation area. There’s a limited-use sauna you can go in for 15 mins.

the location and setting ... the well manicured Landscape...very friendly staff....the serene atmosphere and the friendly town of Peekskill, NY
Dined at Appropos, unfortunately no Wow factor to their dinner menu...quite ordinary. BUT, on the other hand, burgers at lunch was truly perfection....moist with no complaints from the 4 of us. Delicious!

The quality and originality of the food at the restaurant. The garden very well maintained.
Service at the restaurant was poor which is very sad as the food was excellent.
The whirlpool is old and small. There is no place to relax on a long chair

It was just beautiful and so relaxing Between the spa and the wonderful rocking chairs I really enjoyed my stay Only complaint was I didn’t stay longer

The property is beautiful, with no attention to aesthetic detail spared.
We had rented five rooms on the premises, and staff was less than attentive when it came to customer service. There is no bell staff, so we had to lug all of our own baggage up to the rooms. The restaurant was closed when we were checking in, and we had young children waiting with us. We weren’t offered any refreshments or snacks for the children, even though they had cookies available. We wandered around looking for the elevator because it’s not easily spotted from the reception desk, and the person checking us in offered no directions.
