The location is close to the airport. The break first is tasty.

The “upgrade suite is indeed bigger but it has broken shower and broken bath tub. Since I only stay one night, it is not fixed by the staff before I leave. Maybe the normal room is ok.

Great place - very accessible location, and brilliant staff!

As always, Lobelia makes a short stopover in Addis very easy and comfortable! Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shuttle to and from the airport is very easy.

Room was good with the basic room I booked being a 2 room suite with balcony. I may gave been upgraded. Bottled water and fridge in the room. Very close to airport so only 5min each way. Good driver at hotel who did excellent city tour. They also allowed a free early check-in which was excellent

Sadly airport transfer on arrival was not there at arranged time but with a phonecall they came.

Convenient location with friendly staff. Delicious restaurant food.

The airport shuttle wasn’t there on arrival, despite providing flight details. I had to borrow a phone to call.

Love the location- this hotel is my go to when in Addis. The staff are kind and helpful and the hotel is always clean. There is always hot water for showers. I love Hotel Lobelia

On this occasion something made me feel disappointed. I paid for the room upfront on booking.com and yet the hotel charged us once again due to the fact that one of the rooms had an additional person - if we had booked the room initially for two people we wouldn’t have paid extra- and yet because one person used the extra bed in the suite we were made to pay the same amount over again. This did not and does not make sense . my husband and I paid less than our friend plus one extra in another room! No logic in that at all. When we asked to speak to someone on the desk the last we spoke to couldn’t understand our point and why we were upset we had paid double for one room! In the end since I knew we were getting nowhere I said to forget it ( but still feel upset about this )
