Las piscinas infinitas con agua de mar, la amabilidad de Susy y Miguel. La tranquilidad del lugar y que es solo para adultos. Atardeceres fabulosos y muy buenas instalaciones.

La falta de reparación del ascensor

The room was beautiful and spacious, and everything seemed clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom large. The view from the balcony was lovely! The hosts were also very kind and responsive. We considered adding another day to our stay, and they were ready and willing to accommodate us, which was nice. The property itself belongs to the HM Alma resort (formerly Whala), and the outdoor pool areas are clean and well kept. The infinity pools look like they should be in Greece--super pretty! It was also a very fair price. There is a small store and ATM on site as well, which is handy.

We ended up not extending our stay because of the loud music the resort played at night. It was a "Grease" themed night when we were there, and all we wanted after a day of travel and beach time was some peace and quiet. Instead, we got "You're The One That I Want" at top volume until midnight. We found this pretty frustrating. There is also an adjoining "lock-off" room that I did not see mentioned--whoever was in there also played music loudly until about 10:30, and started loudly cooking breakfast around 7:00. If you want to do anything outside of the resort, it's not the quickest walk. The property is at the end of a long road and there is basically nothing else nearby, so be ready for a cab ride or a long walk if you want a meal.

The pool area is great, much better than in the pictures. It feels like a luxury beach club with drinks, a snacks bar and a restaurant. We loved it! Very nice and big bed in the room. The AC was very good too, it’s a real AC, not only a fan.

Nothing. Dominicus is a bit boring but it’s easy to get to Bayahibe by walking or taking a taxi.

Beautiful room with sea view. You can ask for delicious breakfast!

Had to pay to eat at the snack bar the food wasn't worth the price and i had a "burger" still trying to figure out what kind of meat that was

place was filthy when we arrived. there was water on the floor because of storm Fiona, but even after the owner mopped the floor the whole place was filthy. We made the booking the same day so we had to be moved to another apartment which I can understand, but all cupboards and fridge were dirty and there was laundry left in the washing machine too, which can’t be blamed on the storm. I’m sure other rooms are better but the one we were in needs serious cleaning.
