¡Ven a compartir nuestra escapada de cabina en Strawberry, AZ! ¡Hemos estado disfrutando exclusivamente de esta increíble cabaña con nuestra familia y amigos y ahora estamos listos para comenzar a compartirla con los invitados de VRBO! Disfruta de nuestra ENORME cubierta al encender la parrilla, acurrucarte en la fogata o mirar las estrellas. Un plano de planta dividido cuenta con un dormitorio principal y un dormitorio de invitados en el primer piso. ¡El dormitorio / loft de arriba cuenta con dos camas individuales y un rincón adicional con bolsitas de frijoles para divertirse y jugar! Vistas espectaculares desde todas las habitaciones de los pinos ponderosa del Bosque Nacional de Tonto. La casa tiene un nuevo horno de gas (¡más cálido que los calentadores eléctricos!) y unidad de pared de CA en el primer piso. Si buscas una sensación más rústica, enciende la estufa de leña en un frío día de invierno. ¡Pase sus vacaciones explorando caminatas interminables, o simplemente relájese en casa con vistas de 360 grados! Disfruta de las cuatro estaciones a solo 100 millas al norte del valle.

Escape the Heat, Just a Short Drive from Phoenix
My family and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Strawberry A-Frame Cabin. Nestled in a quiet rural neighborhood on the mountainside, the cabin made us feel like locals. The expansive deck offers breathtaking views you won’t find in town. The area felt like an elk sanctuary, with elk families—moms, dads, and little ones—strolling by regularly. Strawberry is a charming, small town with friendly locals. We especially enjoyed dining at the Old County Inn and the Windmill, and the empanadas at Piebar are not to be missed!
Stephanie was a great host, promptly responding to any inquiry.

My husband, kids, and I had a lovely time! We stayed for one week and the cabin was equipped with everything that we needed to make our stay an easy one. Our three kids loved the upstairs loft and I truly appreciated the comfortable beds. The front porch gives you plenty of space to enjoy the pretty views of Strawberry.

This made for a nice cozy getaway. The cabin has all you need to feel comfortable. It’s bright & spacious. A few things to note: it is on a septic system so there’s a very slight smell. Also, being a cabin - a few harmless bugs do make their way in. Also, elk neighbors frequented the property so be careful it you have dogs. Other than that, it’s in a great location near Pine & there are a lot of nice shops, restaurants & taverns.

First off, I just want to say that this A Frame Cabin is adorable! It is spacious and clean, and it is in such a great location. It is close to everything! I also have to mention how super sweet the Owners of this Cabin are. They were so kind and helpful during our stay. We loved the Cabin and the Owners so much that we are already planning on booking another stay here over the Summer. I highly recommend staying here!

What a nice surprise to see how much space this cabin offered! The 2 bedrooms, each with king beds, were separated by common areas. The loft with 2 twins was also bigger than we thought it would be. It was nice to find coffee, cocoa, and popcorn available for our use. There were plenty of dishes and cookware, too. We also were pleased to walk in and see a lighted Christmas tree - what a lovely touch! The only minor hiccup we experienced was when the wifi went offline during the second night. In the morning, we had to unplug the router to restart the unit so the furnace would heat up. Luckily the bedding was nice and warm and it wasn't an issue. We enjoyed hiking in the area, visiting a few of the restaurants and shops and we enjoyed our Strawberry getaway.

Lovely, clean, big comfortable beds, very well organized, beautiful decor, beautiful view, huge clean brand new deck, heat worked great, very nice appliances, round about driveway, great internet, in a nut shell, we loved it and will be back. We saw elk everyday, bunnies, quail, and lots of birds, and heard a rooster in the morning. We made Christmas dinner and enjoyed every minute there. Thank you Stephanie and Todd. We hope you have a wonderful 2024.

First problem was getting up the driveway, its loose gravel and by looking at the driveway, most are having the same problem. TV and the Fire stick that is being used are not compatible, so it continually logs out, so at night you can watch any TV. The home was clean and tidy, we enjoyed that part very much. But will not stay at this Home again until these problems are fixed.

Hosts are fantastic with excellent communication.
Cabin is cozy and amply stocked for all your cooking needs. Lots of games, nice sitting areas inside and out, and wifi worked great. Dof friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean.
Neighborhood is quiet. Lots of elk visits every morning. Neighborhood is close to restaurants and stores. Natural Bridge is close by and is a must visit park when staying here.
Highly recommend this cabin and hosts.

Quite top of mountain home in a dark sky community. Deck was nice with cool breezes and unbelievable night sky. Telescope in closet was a special treat for my grandsons and myself.

The cabin overall is nice. Well stocked, and on a quiet street. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of clean linens and towels. We had a good time there and we really enjoyed our stay.
It is at a point where it could use some updating and maintenance. For instance, the railing to the deck is loose, windows need work, that kind of stuff. Some of the wall decorations could be viewed as offensive.

Clean and well-supplied. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds. Driveway in bad shape. Could have had grab bars in showers (we are 80 years old). Had some difficulty using TV.

We throughly enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean and everything we needed to make us feel at home. We spent our mornings and evenings out on the deck. My husband are bird watchers, we got to see four new birds and we had unexpected visitors; family of Elk passed through. Beautiful creatures. We also enjoyed the weather, it was a pleasant break from the heat in Tucson..

This was our second trip to this adorable little A-frame cabin, and it won't be our last!!
The cabin is so peaceful and comfortable that I have actually returned home refreshed after a weekend away. The master bedroom is one of my favorites, the bed is comfortable and the view of the treetops while lying in bed is really pretty.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a cute little Christmas tree set up in the front room!! What a great touch!

The property was perfect for a lovely getaway from the Phoenix heat! We enjoyed the comfortable, A frame cabin, which had everything our family needed for our five day stay. Stephanie, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful when we reached out for some assistance. We loved the surrounding views and quiet neighborhood, as well as easy access to nearby hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the cabin. It is more spacious in person than it appears in the pictures. We had some good weather and the 4 and 5 year old grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the large deck and the walks through the neighborhood streets gathering “treasures” in their buckets. We were even surprised by a large family of elk on a nearby street. Spent some time browsing through the shops nearby and paid a visit to the Strawberry library where the children were welcomed warmly. A very relaxing weekend and a nice break from the Phoenix weather.

Sweet little A frame! Perfect for my weekend getaway, but great for the family too. Owners were super responsive and helpful (I went to the neighboring property first 🙃). Everything was beautiful. Clean and fresh. Lovely patio. Far enough away from neighbors that I couldn't hear anyone. Having the AC during the day was such a bonus. Will definitely stay again!

The Strawberry A-Frame house was a very welcoming respite for our short stay in the mountains. The home (and beds!) are comfortable for a family. We loved the neighborhood! While 4-wheel drive is not necessary, be prepared for a steep driveway. Our minivan slid a bit on the loose stone. Overall, we'd stay here again!

Perfect family getaway
We had so much fun staying here! My kids (ages 8 and 10) loved the loft area. It was the perfect space for them to spread out and play. The house had everything we needed. It was fun to do the short walk to the Strawberry Schoolhouse and see wildlife along the way! We would stay here again.

Very relaxing
Clean, quiet, very relaxing, it even snowed for us. Everything was perfect. Only one suggestion bring your own wood. Wood in shed doesn’t fit in stove it needs to be split to smaller pieces.
