We had a great family weekend at the coast, this duplex is right next to Nye Beach and all its cute shops and cafes and a short drive to the bay front and aquarium. So affordable for a great location!
The only downside for us was the noise of the duplex, our neighbors and us both had a toddler so the late/early running and footsteps were loud on both sides.
Otherwise would love to stay again!

We made a trip to Newport from 7 hours away for my grandma's funeral. The price was great, slept all 5 of us and our dog perfectly, and was close to everything.

The bad: it sleeps 6 but provides only 4 chairs, lots of dirty dishes, 1 dirty wash cloth on bathroom vanity lights, no coat hooks and it DUMPED every day we were there, and no candles for when the power went out.
The great: inexpensive, accepted our dog, great wifi, close to everything, available on short notice for my grandma's memorial, and quick responsiveness from the hosts when the power went out.

The place needs a new couch very badly. It’s the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on also, the pillows that are on the couch just need to be thrown away. They were filthy.

The rental was clean when we arrived but the condition of the couches, beds, linens, pillows was terrible. Also the tv never worked, there were no instructions for the controls, only thing available was Netflix. After a long and stress filled day we would have liked to relax for an hour or so but couldn't even do that! Also after the other duplex tenants left someone else arrived Friday night and were pounding on the floors until after midnight! I finally went over there Saturday night & explained that my brother was dying and we needed some rest and what were they doing? There were girls doing gymnastics inside the duplex-hence the unending pounding on the floors! The bathroom having no heat or shower/tub light also made for ridiculously cold showers! Overall it was a place to stay with incredibly poor amenities.

Nye Beach is a great neighborhood and that is the only selling point on this property. 3 of us shared a 2 bedroom unit for 3 nights which meant I had to sleep on the couches/sofa bed. I’m 6’2”, 260 lbs. Each couch was progressively worse than the last, with the actual vintage 1970’s sofa bed the absolute worse. It’s 3 days since I’ve been home and my back still hurts. My friends told me their bed mattresses were lumpy too…I paid for this fiasco and felt ripped off with the prices: Nothing wrong with the nightly rate, but all the other charges??? $44.40 booking fee, $21 damage waiver, $90 cleaning fee, $57 service fee. I don’t object to tax but what I thought would be $280 room + tax came out to $551.19. I feel this was a rip off and will NEVER use this company again. This was no Paradise. It was a nightmare. Buyer Beware!

Overall nice home away from home. The bed was comfortable, living room nice, well supplied kitchen. Location was super convenient to good restaurants & beach. The heat is off when you arrive & takes 4-5 hours to reach room temperature so we took advantage of the extra comforters available. I would have preferred it be on to a low temperature like 60 to save energy while unoccupied but reach a comfortable temperature sooner after we arrived & adjusted the heat. Also, because it was slow to warm up we thought it needed to be set higher than it really did so over night we wasted energy the first night unfortunately. The bathroom sink drained slowly over the full night so I called & Vacasa repaired it within a few hours. We would recommend.

Location was perfect for us, easy walking to the shops & beach. Beds were comfy, liked that there were fans available to use, only thing the kitchen didnt have that we could find was a cutting board.
Dislikes - bathtub wouldn’t drain or was incredibly slow to drain, bathroom sink was slow to drain. Chairs and a bbq/grill would be nice on the deck

Clean house, older but clean furnishings. It would be nice to have luggage racks in bedrooms but a kitchen chair worked fine. All drains were slow so they might want to snake it before it becomes a problem.

We appreciated the excellent location of this “house” - actually a duplex. Walkable to Nye beach and downtown Newport. It was also dog friendly. There was a nice front yard for the dogs (not fenced). Overall we felt the house was not well stocked for a group of 6. One roll of toilet paper in the house and only 10ish glass cups. No hose for rinsing off after the beach. We would stay here again only because they allow 3 dogs and for the location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sakina's Paradise Three. The location was close to the beach and great restaurants.

The apartment was clean, however the tub and bathroom sink drain very slow, after a few minutes in the shower you are so standing in 6 inches of water. There is a hole in the wall next to the stove. The apartment smells of mold.

We loved our stay at Sakina 3. Its a duplex and we were lucky enough not to have any renters on the other side however I don't think it would have bothered us if there were as the layout of the house was great.. We had the comfort of home and got to bring our family dog. It was so close to the beach, shops and the coast aquarium. We have two boys 7 and 12 plus our dog and we had plenty of room in this rental. The place was clean and stocked on almost every basic thing you would need. Dishes, towels, soaps, linens, microwave and tiny coffee pot. Bonus they have fans because we can't sleep without the sound of a fan. I can't really find much to say wrong because it was so pleasant. The only thing I can think of is a pen for the sign in book. I loved the idea of the book and my family enjoyed reading all the stories of other people who've stayed there. Overall I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Things you should know...
Great location in the heart of Nye Beach. Great value. Would stay again.
But be aware that you're not really renting from VRBO, even if that's the site you're booking through. This property is managed by Vacasa, a VRBO competitor, and in order to get access to the property, you need to go through their registration process and background check, and give them all the personal information that VRBO does not pass along to their regular property owners. Then you have a Vacasa account where they offer you "exclusive offers" like late check out or cheap extra days - which you might like, but they're not sharing those revenues with VRBO. I presume VRBO is aware of this, and just doesn't care.
None of which reflects negatively on the property, it simply is something I didn't deal with before showing up, and then had to sit on the porch while we went through the Vacasa registration process on the phone before they would give me the lock-box code.
