Family and I visited from Colorado, this cabin was just far enough away to be a real get away. Kids loved the loft, kitchen was well stocked. Loved the views and large windows, tons of wildlife. Deer in the yard almost every morning when we woke up. Deck was great, we spent a ton of time, just relaxing on the deck, enjoying the views.

The cabin is close to the activities at the Angelfire resort properties. We enjoyed the Farmers market on Saturday, live music Friday evening at the event pavilion. It also close to the fishing lake and park that our kids enjoyed. We don’t golf, but we could see the course from the patio.

We spent the week doing different sxs rides and fishing! It was the perfect location to access Cimarron canyon, Eagle’s Nest, Monte Verde, Red River! We fished all of the above along with Goose Lake and Cabresto. Great space to park our truck with our trailer. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to Cook our meals at home. Very cozy property and saw wildlife daily. Thank you SO much!

My husband, myself, son, daughter-in-law, 15 yr old and 10 yr old - 4/5 day stay to hike, raft, zipline, ride horses, sightsee, and just RELAX. Could NOT have chosen a better place to stay! Deer, chipmunks, groundhogs, grey squirrels, hummingbirds, geese, woodpeckers… ALL visible from living area or deck! Everything you need… grocery store close by and restaurants. Would highly recommend. ❤️

A very nice location with a lot of wildlife. The house allowed for inside/outside living. A bit dated, but exactly what we wanted and were looking for. We will be back again.

Second time we have stayed, just breath taking. Wildlife everywhere: Elk, mule deer, turkeys, eagles, magpies, stellar jays, squirrels, the view is wonderful! The cabin has everything you need.

We love coming to this area to see the leaves change. This was our first time to stay in Angel Fire. The house was more than I expected. I felt right at home. Everything we needed was right there. Directions were easy to follow. I for sure an planning another trip to Angel Fire and hopefully this property

Property as advertised! Perfect place for some much needed r and r and to escape the heat in the south. Lots to see and do in the area and this rental was ideally located. Property manager easy to deal with and very responsive to my questions. I would definitely rent this place again if I was in the Angel Fire area. Awesome house with nice furnishings and decor, super clean, the kitchen, dining and living area were perfect for the 2 of us. Wrap around deck was great to relax, grill, and enjoy nature. We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay, deck was the best, saw five bucks up close both days we were there. Could see 2 holes on golf course!
If you are looking for a new property or updated property, this is not it. But we loved its charm.
The upstairs loft had one bedroom with a queen and two twins and a separate hide a bed outside that room. you could easily fit two families possibly sleep up to eight or 10.

This house was great for us. It had plenty of room and great views of the mountains. It was within minutes of the trails we wanted to hike on most days It was also in a very quiet location that was near restaurants and grocery stores.

Actually, I needed some time and space to work on a book and this turned out to be perfect. Quiet, setting, beautiful vistas - everything worked!
( two minor suggestions; I am Roku TV illiterate. Some sort of guide as to what the four remotes actually do would be helpful. Also, traffic on the highway out in front can be busy at times. Eventually i completely ignored it, but it might be a hassle for some people. Fantastic cool weather in July!)

It was great to be able to stay next-door to a larger property that the rest of our family stayed at. Love the cabin and its location. We’ll kept, roomy. Nice sunsets, lots of deer around, very close to the golf course and the little lake.

Cabin was a little dusty on mini blinds and the upstairs fan, also found a few trash items under beds, other then that I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

We loved the views, the cabin was so pretty could use a few updates like the carpet upstairs and needed to be cleaned better the fans had a lot of dust and windows and blinds were dirty. Overall we would stay here again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. It was about 5 minutes to the ski slopes, which made it easy to enjoy the Angel Fire Resort area without being stuck in the congestion of crowds all the time. When we weren't skiing, our kids loved sledding on property and watching the deer gather. The views are outstanding.

Pictures and descriptions were precise. 5 minutes drive to ski lift. Good sledding in the yard. Mule deer in the yard every day. Quiet neighborhood. Great views. Great grocery and hardware store. 45 minute drive to Taos. This property provides good value for your money.

The location was ideal, being just up the road from the ski resort. We had major issues getting out of the driveway with our rear wheel drive vehicle.
The house could have been a tad cleaner but overall it was a nice place in a good location.

The property was nice and good size for the two of us but the furniture must be 20 years old , worn out cushions and not very clean. Now I will be going to my chiropractor. The kitchen was small and not a very good layout and out dated. I think it’s about time to update the whole house.

House was a perfect spot. Close to town yet in a very quiet neighborhood. If you just need a place to lay your head, this is a great location. Deer were actually in the yard one evening.

We had a great reprieve from the 100°+ temps of TX. The house is easy to get to and close to "town". We did not realize it was within hearing distance of the traffic on the main road---the pictures are deceiving because you think you're gonna be isolated.
Pros: deer will graze right by you on the deck as you watch the cars go by, house is well-stocked, beds are comfy, you're only 35 min from Red River that has lots more to do & is a great walk-around town.
Cons: coffee pot has no "robbing" option & is extremely slow, some pots & pans need replacing, traffic noise is no bueno, circular stairs are a pain, the cleaning fee is too much when we were responsible for starting the dishwasher, washing a load of towels & taking the trash to the dumpster.

My husband and I came up to Angel Fire for the first time and fell in love! Our cabin was perfect. We had everything we needed. Even when a couple of the village water pumps went down, someone from maintenance came to let us know and get us water if we needed it. While it is cool up there, we still like fans when we sleep, so we were very grateful for the tower fan! And the bed was extremely comfortable.
Thank you for allowing us to have such a truly relaxing stay!
