We were welcomed by Francisco Jr and introduced to the lovely apartment. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and the view of the wall and castle were beautiful. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Clean, recently renovated, and has a well equipped kitchen. There is unobstructed view from a large and quiet terrace on the city walls, old town and the castle. Located outside of city walls, therefore there are no noisy crowds around. There is a road next to the building, but the windows look the other way, and after putting down the door screen we did not hear the road noise. The old town is just two minutes walk away. The host told us a lot of information about the town, the building, and provide valuable advice. There is a spacious private parking lot next to the house. In general, very positive experience.

Excellent location to walk to Obidos city entrance. Very clean and comfortable place to stay and Francisco was very helpful and a great host.

We loved everything about it. this home has been refurbished from the f ground up by Francisco, the owner. We were in Portugal for 9 days, and this was by far our best night. The personal touches of snacks and treats, along with a recommendation for an amazing meal at Jamon Jamon really elevated the stay. Do yourself a favor and stay here! the hosts are incredibly attentive, welcoming, and kind. The home will feel like your own home away from home, just steps from medieval castle walls.

This home is in the perfect location in Obidos. Close to the castle walls just outside of the castle you have beautiful views and great access. The pictures do not do the place justice. It is much nicer than the pictures depict. The two-story home is roomy, comfortable, updated, and perfectly situated to the castle walls. Two full bathrooms were a lifesaver for us. We didn't have that at any of our other locations. A large family could stay here very comfortably. We were truly amazed by it. The host was amazing. We arrived early and the host's son, Francisco, came early to let us in. He was an extremely nice young man who give us excellent tips on things to do and grocery stores (his tips helped us for the remainder of our time in Portugal). The apartment has everything you need and more. They had USB ports everywhere which was truly needed with all of us to be able to charge phones, watches, etc. The back patio is much larger than depicted in pictures and it was so nice to be able to sit out and see the castle walls one on view and the valley on the other. A large window allowed us to enjoy the views while inside. Truly the pictures don't show how great this place is.

Francisco and his family were amazing hosts. They communicated well throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is beautiful and clean, which is great when traveling with a child. All of the family friendly touches were most appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely spot with great views and easy walk into the busy old town(maybe 200m). Great facilities...well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and nice beds. We cooked in and had everything we needed plus some condiments provided like olive oil, vinegar etc which other places dont always have. Also lovely fruit and bread, milk etc all provided on arrival and a gift of lovely handmade flowers when we left. Hosts could not be more accommodating😀

Terrific location with parking. Well appointed, comfortable, clean, great heating. Beautiful views! The son’s host welcomed us, and speaks wonderful English :) Completely accommodating and caring. They gifted us a generous welcome gift of bread, coffee, and wine. 100% recommend for a few days stay exploring the charming town of Obidos.

Zero complaints. One tip, if it seems the hot water isn’t working, you just have to switch it on from the hot water heater in the kitchen!

A lovely place to stay, everything brand new with fabulous bathrooms and kitchen. Great view from the terrace. Very convenient for Obidos, a short walk in and much less stressful for us than negotiating the narrow streets and limited parking inside the walls of the town. Hosts were amazing and could not do enough to help. We also tried Francisco's restaurant Jamon Jamon nearby which was so nice with a roaring fire on a cool night. Francisco also checked we could take our dog with us to Bacalhoa Buddha Eden the next day - that was well worth another trip to Obidos. Loved it.

warm welcome from the hosts, very well stocked kitchen and they were kind enough to give us some bread and chocolates for our children, a small little kids corner which my 5 year old greatly appreciated, and amazing beds (even the sofa bed was super comfy!), the washing machine

it was facing the main road but it’s a minor issue as the noise didn’t really bother us even though I’m a light sleeper

great place, comfortable home, friendly owners! everything is very clean, everything is there for a good rest! compliment delicious bread, milk and fruit, handmade soap on check out was a surprise! I recommend to everyone!

Better it is Impossible!!! 5***** service, much better than most hotels. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Accomodation and the views are top. Just in the center and I am sure we Will be back soon!!!

Very new and is located so one can walk into old town, drive to Péniche, Nazare, Batalha, Alcobaca The property is well equipped and was very clean and comfortable. It also has a terrace where one can sit and have a great view of the old city. Great wifi, parking outside the property. Supermarkets just 800 m from the property.

We stayed one night in this new and thoughtfully decorated house. Fantastic kitchen and bathroom and a terrace with a view to die for. The hosts were so kind and attentive. A real gem.
