We stayed for a week, this was out family vacation which included myself, my husband our three adult children and our three grandchildren. The location was great to see all the touristy things in the area. The house and property itself was awesome. It was well stocked in the kitchen for our cooking. The house was roomy everyone had plenty of space. The three grandchildren loved the triple bunk beds. Overall we enjoyed out stay and would definitely come back.

Our family of 12 loved this house. The house was very clean, well stocked, had plenty of room for all of us, and of course had amazing views. There is a renter in part of the house, but we never saw them. There is a lot to do that is not too far from the house, but we also enjoyed our time right in the house. We went into the hot tub every night. The renter answered every question that I had in a very timely manner.

The 11 of us enjoyed our stay! Everything we could need to make our stay amazing. The accommodations are top notch and clean. The view is beautiful! The host is responsive with helpful information. Highlights of the trip were Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, fireworks in Cripple Creek, Woodland Park, and Manitou Springs. Having Walmart close by was a bonus so we could cook up meals in the well stocked kitchen. Wish we could have stayed longer and will return if we are in the area.

This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The view of Pikes Peak was beyond words. Pictures do not do it justice. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was so well stocked - it had everything we needed down to spices and flour! There was apply space for our family. Numerous bathrooms. Wonderful outdoor space. The location is perfect - so close to many attractions. The host is extremely accommodating and responsive. She got back to me within minutes of any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. 😃

Our book club came and stayed here for a weekend and had such a wonderful time! The space allowed for all 11 of us to sleep comfortably with just a couple rooms of sharing beds. The views really can't be beat. Rebekah was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay!

This was a wonderful location to spend Thanksgiving with extended family! The kitchen is amazing, with all the tools needed to cook big meals. Really enjoyed the heated floors and the wood stove downstairs kept it extra cozy.
The view of Pike’s Peak is breathtaking, and while you are only a short drive from town (groceries, wal-mart), it feels like you’re in another world.
A couple of notes that may be useful for those considering the property: of the 5 bedrooms, 2 are en-suite, but one of those has a triple bunkbed only. We had 2 sets of grandparents with us who really need en-suite, so one set navigated the bunkbeds. They made it work and it was their choice (2 of the downstairs bedrooms are right next to/across the hall from a bathroom, so not far at all). Secondly, if you’re visiting in winter an SUV is a smart choice, just in case there is snow. If there is snow forecast, you may want to consider 4wd. The house is up on the side of a mountain so the road to get there has some steep grades. It’s very well-maintained though!
We recommend the property and would definitely stay here again.

I have never been in a more equipped kitchen! Everything was sparkling clean, the host always responded within minutes of a request.
The house has a rustic feel which is not my first choice, but it isn't overwhelming. And there really is nothing rustic!
We had a large group, 16, so needed to do some negotiating on only 3 showers.
Hot tub is great -- chemicals and towels were right there (could probably use a step to get into the hot tub)
Second kitchen on lower level really helped food storage (full refrigerator).
The deck has a hummingbird feeder, so in addition to padded deck chairs and tables, we could see hummingbirds flitter around us.

It was absolutely gorgeous! The whole family enjoyed it so much. As we are from Ohio, we we aren’t used to such drives up the mountain. LOL Our daughter got married up at another VRBO higher up the same road and it was very convenient to be so close. We would definitely consider renting this home again! Lovely place, again thank you.

We rent quite a few nice homes throughout the year but this one became my favorite within the first day. It’s location is remote, but just 15min or less from groceries, Starbucks and arts/crafts stores.
The view of Pikes peak is very nice to wake up to every morning.
What set this apart though, is how clean the home was. It felt like we were at home here! This will be the first place we try to book on our future Colorado adventures.

House was perfect for a large family gathering with two kitchens, two living areas a lots of bedrooms. Amenities were great: grills, workout room, trampoline, hot tub and more!

The house was perfect for our large family group! The house was stocked well with kitchen utensils/blankets/sheets. My family and I loved everything about the house from the amenities to the beautiful Mountain View! Rebekah was a wonderful host and was super quick to respond to any questions we had! If we come back to Colorado Springs, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! My family made some great memories here!

Everything we needed was provided here. The kitchen was the most well-stocked one I have ever used. The bedrooms were comfortable and great for the children in our group.
Our only problem was the Wi-Fi. It was out most of the time. We had to use a hot spot to get any sevice.

Beautiful surroundings
The house was beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The hosts provided everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect with a view of Pikes Peak. You are very close to town so getting groceries was a breeze. We will definitely remember this vacation with fond memories.

Wonderful trip
We had a wonderful time in Colorado. The location is spectacular. It felt very private and yet so close to town. The house was better than the pictures, it had everything you could want. Very clean, well maintained and very beautiful.

Fabulous large family getaway!
We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Close to everything we wanted to do in Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs! Plenty of space for our large family with 7 small kids. We definitely plan to return to this property on future visits!

Excellent property, excellent host, and a great time
This property is one of the few where the pictures don't do it justice. It is in excellent condition and the views are amazing. The house has everything you need including one of the most stocked kitchens we have ever used. It was clean and had plenty of space for our family.
The location is up in the mountains and away from everything, but the town is easy to get to. Our only issue was limited internet and no TV. We were there for new years day and we had trouble watching the bowl games.
The thing that really made the difference was Rebekah's responsiveness. She was so helpful and even provided us with a shovel just before a snowstorm. We only needed it for the sidewalk as they plowed the roads.
We had a great experience and hope to rent this place again!

Amazing get away!
This property was truly remarkable! Spectacular views and close to all of the best hiking spots and Manitou Springs. The accommodations were great and the kitchen had everything you will need for family dinners. I would definitely bring my family back to this property! The owner was so accommodating and so nice. If I could leave a 6-star rating I would!

Beautiful View
We loved this house and enjoyed our stay. It fully accommodated our group. The kitchen is well stocked, which is nice to see. The view is great. The house is up a long windy dirt road and separate from the other houses. It was not a big deal with the renter. You do not have access to the laundry room nor the garage. The majority of the closets are not available to use. The owner did make an exception and allowed us to use the laundry since shampoo exploded all over one suitcase. The master and one queen bed is up and each have an en suite. The rest are downstairs. There are two bathrooms on each floor. You do have to take the trash to a dumpster at the bottom of the road. However, glad to see recycles available. We would recommend this house.

Perfect Family Getaway
We were looking for a “Perfect” family getaway. Boy did we find it. This location is outstanding! Not only is the house stocked to the hilt with every utensil you could ever need, all the extras you can think of, and the views that will last a lifetime, it also is so close to everything you want to do in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. We had a blast. By far the most unbelievable views of Pikes Peak. I went to bed each night and opened my eyes each morning to the sun lighting up Pikes Peak. A must see and a must experience location.
I honestly cannot think of one thing to make our visit better. Ok, let’s see, how about more wildlife. Just kidding. We saw plenty. Two large Mule deer with velvet horns that reached 3’ in the air, the hummingbirds that colored the 2nd floor deck, and the very large bear print next to the trash dumpster were just a beginning.
If you want to be left alone by the world, this is it. If you want natural beauty to surround you, this is it. And if you want to build great memories, start here!
On a side note. Best property owners ever. So responsive. They have thought of EVERYTHING!

Perfect vacation
It is an ideal location, being in the mountains and being remote but only 10 min from Woodland Park. The home is beautiful with an amazing view of Pikes Peak. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Nothing needed except for food. Communication with the owner was excellent. She returned messages very quickly. I highly recommend this property for families. We had 8 adults and 5 toddlers/preschoolers, and it was very comfortable, We hope to return.

This place was extraordinary! The space was wonderfully decorated, the view were exhilarating, and the host, Rebekah, was spectacular!!! I recommend this location for anyone who wants to indulge in what Colorado really has to offer. Family gathering
We had a group of 15 family members stay for a long weekend. The house and the views were both spectacular! We had everything we needed - lots of comfy beds, couches, well outfitted kitchen, etc. we would stay here again for the privacy and the views!

Lovely!
To say that the owners were wonderful is an understatement. They were kind, accommodating, helpful, great communicators, and helpful the entire week. We were there during a historic snow storm, and they kept the driveway shoveled, the road plowed and helped with car trouble. We were so thankful for them. The house is exactly as it is pictured and described, and the view is even better. The house was perfect for our group of nine - four adults and five children. We loved using the hot tub, the fully-stocked kitchen, and playing and sledding in the snow around the cabin. The only downside is that there is no washer/dryer, but we knew that going in and it was completely fine. The house is amazing, we will absolutely stay there again.

Excellent House
Excellent house at a great location. This house had everything we were looking for and definitely enjoy the mornings and evenings up in the mountain. We loved seen the deers in the property. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms fit perfect for my family of 16. Great place in a unique location
We rented this house for our friends while we got married at another house just up the road. Rebekah was very easy to communicate with and was very easy to work with on the details and check-in procedure. The hot water was out the day our friends checked in but they were able to fix it within 24 hours. We were told it was clean and organized and beautiful. One thing my friends told me was they didn't know someone would be living in something like a lock-off apartment on the property, so that was a little surprising. Other than that, my friends all told me it was delightful. Thanks for letting us rent it, Rebekah!
