We have been visiting Lake LBJ annually for several for years, because we and have stayed at a different vacation rental each year, as wewere looking

The property was located in a perfect location on the lake. It was very neat & clean. We all enjoyed our time on the lake.

Relaxing and very enjoyable weekend at this home located at the water’s edge of Lake LBJ. Darby does a great job and made our visit carefree. Clean, well stocked home and terrific location. We’ll be back!

This home and location offered everything we needed to enjoy Lake LBJ. Our children swam right out the back door, we fished there too and managed to catch dinner. We rented a boat and spent a day exploring the lake from end to end. We spent a day at the Slab panning for gold and visited Longhorn Caverns. It was an amazing and fun trip. Darby was a very responsive and accommodating host. Can wait to go back! We are already planning our next reunion.

The house was super clean and had everything you could think of. Water is deep but the kids loved it.

Our stay was almost perfect here. There was plenty of space for us and our 2 adult kids, bathrooms nice, living room and kitchen nicely situated and stocked. Plenty of beach towels, floats, and kitchen supplies. The master bedroom bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had at an airb&b or VRBO.
Our dogs loved being able to get in water and paddle around.
The swimming area was nice and we caught several catfish off the dock.
The only negative comment- while we were aware there was no boat lift we didn’t think the tie off area on dock would be so rough. Our boat got scratched up and the handle by boat ladder was ripped off one day because of the jostling around due to all the lake traffic.
Other than the boat situation we had a wonderful time here. It’s peaceful and comfortable with a beautiful backyard.
We would highly recommend this property. Just be aware if you have a boat it might get tossed around.

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family. Easy pre-booking, arrival, check in. The house has everything you need, is laid out perfectly and is great for swimming, boating, grilling, playing any other great card/board games or just enjoying the shade and the lake. Darby was a wonderful host, responsive and wants to do whatever it takes to make your time at the house great.

This property exceeded our expectations - especially the absolutely wonderful back yard and dock. The trees are gorgeous, the hammock is a lovely touch, and the layout of the home perfectly suits a few families staying for a little get together.
Perfectly easy to contact the host too for anything we needed.

We had the most beautiful weekend at this lake home. Everything you could need is available. The kitchen was probably the best well stocked and equipped for real cooking I’ve seen in a rental. Both indoors and out so cared for. The home is so open and each bedroom has a bathroom. Perfect for bigger groups. Everything has been thought of down to charcoal and insect repellent outside. I took walks both days in the neighborhood. Very quiet and shaded. Most importantly, Darby was the best! She’s quick to respond and so accommodating. You can’t go wrong with this rental! We will be returning often.

Took advantage of the last weekend before start of school to get away. The property was perfect for our needs. The girl in our group had her own room and bathroom, and the boys shared a room and had their own bath, and we parents had the master. So comfortable. Loved all the fun games at property. And the extra table in the living room was perfect for beading (made some bracelets!) or puzzling. Dock was wonderful, kids loved jumping off. Took a GIANT inflatable unicorn, and he floated in the little area next to dock all weekend long. Darby was great on communication. Super easy check-in and check out. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We were staying here as a summer get together with family. The walk to the lake was awesome. The property had all the amenities we needed for our short stay. Working with Darby was great. The communication was great. We were able to bring our dogs with us on this trip. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable.

We met here for a friends 50th Birthday gathering. The house was exceeded our expectations. The house is located in a perfect spot, has a great view and was just what we needed for our relaxing gettaway! Thanks Darby, we will be back!

We absolutely love staying here. This is our third stay in four summers, our family and a friend's family just love coming back here. We've made a ton of memories and we hope to return for more!
We enjoy heading to nearby Llano for Cooper's BBQ, Kingsland for groceries, Inks Lake / Longhorn Caverns for hikes. But everyone loves being at the house the most: dock jumping, tossing frisbee and football in the yard, grilling and reading and visiting on the amazing back porch with a great view of the Colorado.
Darby is an unbelievably kind and gracious host. We always feel right at home. When we experienced a minor issue on our last day, Darby was overly kind and generous in addressing the situation.
Just a perfect stay and one I hope we can repeat as the kids get older. Don't hesitate to book a fun and memorable stay in Kingsland!

We had a great time here. It was very comfortable and the host was very receptive to any questions we had. The water was freezing, but the kids enjoyed it anyway. We all enjoyed catching a few fish! It's a quiet neighborhood which we really enjoy.

Beautiful view from inside the house. Outside patio and boat deck was a great place for the family to relax and enjoy the water. Main bathroom shower needs to be addressed. But the other 2 showers are nice and clean. The house is an older home with updates/remodeling throughout. However, there could be a little more updating in the kitchen and bathrooms. Overall, a comfortable, nice house, right on the river.

Our family spent the Thanksgiving weekend and this property had everything we needed to prepare our big feast as well as to have some memorable family time. Everything is as described plus more since the views of the lake from inside are just wonderful upon entering the house. There are tons of family games and lots of space. The docking area on the lake was a favorite especially with that hammock! It gave us the time to fully relax and have an enjoyable time. Darby is a super accommodating host, thank you Darby!! Hope to stay again in the future 🎉🥰!!

This is a wonderful lake house! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The dock area was perfect for relaxing and fishing. There was plenty of room in living room and kitchen for our large family. We really loved our stay!

This was a really nice place, right on the water. Lots of room. The fridge/freezer needs checked out. Was on the highest setting when we got there so took a long time to cool down. Ice cube trays never froze in the freezer.

This is our second visit to this house and it did not disappoint us! We had a great weekend enjoying the lake and the surrounding areas. Also our Labrador dog enjoyed the water as much as we did…. she had a blast! The house is just like the pictures, very cozy and accommodating. Darby was very quick to response to all our messages and provided what we needed.

Had a great time staying here. We used the dock all day and got to swim in the lake. Grocery store is within a 10 minute drive if you need anything.

3 couples stayed the weekend and had a fantastic, relaxing time! Great location, great house, lots of amenities. Right on the water with great seating on the dock with upper level as well. Lots of nice extras in the house, mini air hockey and other games, lots of kitchen supplies. Amazing views from the house. Great hostess!! Would absolutely come back for another stay!!

Nice riverfront property
Outdoor facilities including the covered deck, boat lift, spacious lawn, and porch are ideal small outings. Likewise, the bedrooms and common living area are comfortable. Only caveats are that the grill has seen better days and house flies are a bit of a nuisance. Overall a good property and value we’d return for.

You can’t get more relaxing than this property! Fishing, barbecuing, sitting on the deck, all is amazing. Darcy checked on us throughout our stay and was a perfect host.
