The casita was in an excellent location. We walked to the plaza every morning for exercise and the trees along the way were so pretty. The casita was exceptionally clean! We were very close to everything we wanted to see in Santa Fe. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The kitchen and laundry room was nice and had everything we needed. Hopefully this casita will be available next time we are in Santa Fe!

I loved every minute of my stay in this tastefully appointed casita, and though I was traveling along, I felt completely safe. The neighborhood was charming and so quiet I could hear crickets at night. The kitchen was very clean and well appointed. Aside from the lovely bathroom and very comfy bed, I appreciated the rather large closet which included drawers and shelving, enough for two people to share at least one weeks worth of clothes, etc. The casita couldn't have been better located, away from the downtown hubbub, but a stone's throw from galleries and really great restaurants. The hosts were also very responsive. I will definitely be returning!

Loved our stay! We’ve typically had success in staying at VRBO places in Santa Fe, and likewise this did not disappoint. Comfortable king bed, extremely clean, and well-appointed studio. Bath and kitchen were lovely. Thanks!!

Upon arrival there was a very strong odor of sewer gas which permeated the entire casita. We called the host who was in Poland - she insisted the odor was not sewer gas but the portable AC unit which has “a funky odor”. She admitted the sewer drain recently had issues but had been “fixed”. After 24 hrs of using the plumbing the smell abated. 3rd day of our stay there was weak shower pressure with barely enough water to bathe. On the 4th day there was NO water coming out of the shower. While trying to reach the host in Poland, there was a loud crash & the tub spout w/diverter “fell” out of the wall. Now there was NO way to bathe. Host said plumber would come by during the day, but never did. That evening (6:30pm)while at dinner w/friends, the sister of the host (also out of state) phones to ask “when will we be home” to let the plumber in (he couldn’t find the hidden key). She admitted plumber had been there the week before & thought the problem had been fixed. We refused to cut our evening short to accommodate their plumber. We said we’d shower at a friend’s house but requested a one night credit for the inconvenience of not showering for 2days. Host said yes, we were due something, but never issued a credit OR responded. Instead, she filed an claim with the insurance policy we bought for $430. No refund & she bills Insurance! This is a very old building (charming as it is) with plumbing and sewer problems that the host is well aware of. It was a VERY stressful stay.

What a wonderful casita! It is quiet and secluded, yet close to everything. A great place to stay in Santa Fe.

The casita was crisp, compact and beautifully appointed. We are spoiled by the location and proximity to Canyon Road and an infusion of art.

This accommodation checked all the boxes. Squeaky clean. Spacious room (larger that it looks in the photos). Very comfortable bed. Very inviting outdoor space with the acequia running through it. An easy 2-block walk to Canyon Road with its galleries and three restaurants. Quiet neighborhood with interesting possibilities for strolling.

A wonderful bedroom suite in a perfect spot. Walked everywhere, no need for a car. Had a great time!

Loved the location ! Charming casita! Only thing we would suggest to the host is to put better lighting on the steps ( ifor older guests - extremely important ) inside . Also the screen door creates a very tight opening to put keys in the front door. And if possible, put in dark window coverings. The room and amenities were great - thank you!

My wife and I loved our stay at this beautiful casita. We could live there full time! It has everything that you need and want. It was so cozy, and was one block from Canyon Road. We cannot wait to visit Santa Fe again, and hope that we can stay at this property.

My husband and I agreed, this is by far one of the best rental spaces we've ever experienced. The space was immaculate as well as welcoming and restful. We also enjoyed discovering the many amenities that Margaret has carefully and genuinely "curated" to enhance the casita. Her design choices added splendid touches to the bath, the kitchen and the rest of the space. The appliances, the flatware and cookware as well as the dishes and cups were luxe and lovely. It was a real privilege to stay here. And although the casita is adjacent to the main house, the casita has its own entrance and is very quiet.

This rental is a first class updated property! Located in a very quiet safe neighborhood and close to everything. Beware, the property is located on a "one way" section of the street that Google maps does not pick up.

Studio casita is clean and well furnished. Bed and furniture is comfortable. The best thing is the welcoming owners who were available to answer questions. We had a problem opening the lock box to get the key, and the owner came to the casita to let us in. Also liked the great location in an artsy neighborhood. Will stay again.

Within 5-10 minute drive to most places we wanted to see. Walking distance to Canyon Road galleries and two wonderful restaurants. Nice bathroom and kitchenette. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Chairs in room were not too comfortable so limited time we wanted to spend in the room. Overall a good place to stay.

Renting was easy and the property looks like the photos- extremely well kept. I would highly recommend this as a great central location to Canyon Road, restaurants and museums. Make sure you understand where thre property sits from Vrbo, Google is a bit “off”. Quiet neighborhood.

This cozy casita offered a welcome respite. Very close to Canyon Road but still a little off the beaten path. Walking and driving to the Plaza were easy and close. The Saturday Farmer’s Market was a nice 25 minute walk away. Would stay here again!

Location, location, location. We couldn't have been happier with the where this place was and how it was designed. A walk-in closet that allowed us to unload our bags and the perfect setup to sleep and sit and drink coffee. Host responded quickly to our questions and was great to us. Bookmarking this place for next time.

Perfect Santa Fe spot
My daughter and I loved this beautiful property. It's classic Santa Fe in decoration, the location is excellent, the amenities are top-notch, and the process was smooth and easy. Specifically, the location is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood that's within walking distance to great spots. The kitchen and bathroom are gorgeously updated, and the whole place feels like a luxury getaway. It was clean and had everything we needed and more (like lovely toiletries and bathrobes). I will absolutely stay here again and look forward to it!

The casita is a short safe walk to the galleries and restaurants on historic Canyon Street. Comfortable bed, nice linens and a great shower. Margaret was available for suggestions on restaurants and things to do in the area. Although we did not fix any meals in the room, the kitchen is fully stocked. We are looking forward to a return visit to Santa Fe.

We came to Santa Fe to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday (we did his 60th here 20 years ago!). And we wanted to enjoy the uniqueness of Santa Fe! Finding a location within walking distance of Canyon Road was a plus for us. The casita was lovely, and had all the amenities that we needed to enjoy our stay. It was like a home away from home!! We will return! The setting was so quiet and welcoming! Thanks so very much.

We picked this property for the location and it was great! Within walking distance to all the things we wanted to do. Short drive up the mountain to ski. The only thing we couldn't tell with 100% accuracy from the pictures is it is one big room like an efficiency with a master/closet/kitchen combo and bath off entry. It was perfectly cozy but we spent most of our time out and about. The host was wonderfully efficient and the casita was well stocked with just about everything you could think of! LOVELY trip.

Extremely comfortable and easy access to Canyon Road and Plaza by foot.
The casita had all the conveniences necessary (terrific bath and shower) as well as a very comfortable bed. Wish we had stayed another couple of days to fully appreciate the extensive kitchen.
Thank you for a delightful stay!
