Pros: We were amazed at the house design. The main house was beautiful!. The other rooms were roomy and enjoyed having so many bathrooms(3 shower/tube combos and 1 outdoor restroom, 1 walkin shower bathroom). Beautiful pool, plenty of seating outside for our stay with 20 people. Outdoor t.v. was awesome!
Cons: 2nd room a/c didnt cool well.

Had a great weekend with my family. Not only was Dos Oakes beautiful it comfortably housed my entire family of 15. We are excited to come back. The location was great and the scenery was worthy of a Kodak moment. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by the nice lady at the management office. My only gripe, and I am really nitpicking, is that I couldn’t bring my dog. It’s perfectly reasonable as dogs can be destructive and messy. However I’d be happy to pay more on my deposit to have been able to bring my small 20 lb dog with strict rules (pick up all poop, vacuum, etc).

This property was perfect for our group. It had a large gathering areas where we could all talk and have fun together for amazing times. It also had casitas for each nuclear group to have private space too. It was great because the Wi-Fi and the pool kept teenagers happy and engaged with each other. It had areas to keep the adults happy all together or for more intimate areas to catch up with others one-on-one. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a time for our family. All six of my kids were there some parts of that week. We visited this house last year except my wife was still alive. We did mostly the same thing as last year play cards, put a puzzle together and the kids swam most every day. We hardly ever leave the place once we arrive. We have been going to the Frio River for over 60 years and the river used to be our high light of our family vacation but age has made it where access to the river is impossibly. But now it is a time to visit, relax, and talk about times in the past.

The pictures to this rental are cute, but they do not compare to the actual house. The whole place is relaxing and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Everything was so clean and organized. Each room has specific instructions to the television and how to use each remote. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need to use. Easy pool access, outside restroom and shower are super convenient. First time here but definitely not the last. The whole family enjoyed it.

Our first trip to the river was nothing but amazing! To the booking to the staff to property management all were so helpful and professional. The house alone was stunning and very well maintained as well as the perfect location. Everything you go for the River for is within a fifteen minute drive. The location has privacy and it’s so relaxing. We will definitely be staying here in the future! If your looking for the perfect location for you and your family, this place will not disappoint!!

It was an amazing property to stay at. Everything was clean and organized. The only downfall was they did not pick up the trash at all while we were there. I also had issues contacting the office for my deposit refund. It's been about 3 weeks since we checked out.

We rented this property to accommodate 14 ladies. If you’ve traveled with that many ladies, you know there may be time when you need a reprieve. Lol! It was nice to have the cabanas for additional space when needed. The common courtyard areas and large living room were perfect for games and socializing. The property manager was very helpful, even after we left the property. One lady left an item and they were prompt to assist me in shipping it to her. We were close to everything we intended to do that weekend. The kitchen was spacious for meal preparation and there were a plethora of refrigerators for all the goodies we brought. We can’t wait to return to Dos Oakes for another get together next year!

We loved every minute of our stay. There was plenty of room for our rather large group, 25 mostly adults. The house was lovely and spacious. The casita was perfect for kids to hangout when they were tired from swimming. Kitchen was fully stocked. Honestly the only complaint I had was the dustpan, it was a tiny bit warped and hard to sweep all the dirt into. Lol We will definitely be booking with Frio Premier again!

This our second time at Dos Oakes, and there are not enough great things we can say about it. It is absolutely perfect. In a time when our faces our glued to small screens, we all forgot about our phones and just appreciated each other and every moment. Just Perfect!

We LOVED this property so much! It was like we were in our own villa. We had several families (3) with multiple children with lots of ages and the main home along with the casitas were all being used! We had the pool in the middle and used that daily along with the fire pit at night. Each bedroom has its own TV along with the outdoor TV! We spent time at Garner and the house- we didn’t want to leave! There are 2 large fridges in the house which makes for a great addition to the kitchen that truly has everything! The showers have hot water with great water pressure and the AC works great in all of the rooms! I am so thankful we found this listing- we will be back! Communication with the property owners and managers is absolutely fantastic!

Great venue for 5 families (10 adults and 6 kids (8-13)...The pool, outdoor kitchen and smoker were awesome - only 10 mins by car to Neals and Frio Country Store. Having access to River Rim was a bonus!!! Highly recommend
