Gorgeous little apartment oozing history, character and charm with everything you need. Adriana was the perfect host, allowing us to leave our luggage as we arrived early. She gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and offered to book for us as well. She provided us with a big bowl of fruit and other goodies. On leaving she also booked us a taxi.

Adriana was very hospitable and welcoming. She provided lots of brochures and made recommendations for restaurants, etc. She even called a cab for us on departure and provided fresh fruit, sweets, and coffee. The accommodations are charming and comfortable and (important to us) has great water pressure and plenty of hot water.
On the downside, the street outside was noisy with people passing by and talking until well after midnight on a Tuesday night. We did not understand from the listing that if we used both bedrooms, there would be an up charge, so we recommend that you read the listing very carefully and ask the host any questions you have in advance.
If we are ever in Cordoba again, we will definitely consider Adriana’s property. She couldn’t have been nicer.

The uniqueness of this property is so unique - so well decorated in a Cordoba taste. Loved all her details and directions. Our arrival and departure was a little late but it all worked out.

Adriana is a super hostess - makes sure you settle into the property and has great recommendations for food/activities. The house is lovely - as you see on the photos it is full of original fittings and has been renovated well. Easy short walk to all the main historical sites and to the more modern shopping areas. Surrounded by restaurants and a short walk to the supermarket. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it.

We stayed four nights at Adriana’s beautiful casa. The location is perfect. The Mezquita and Alcazar are just steps away - 5 minute walk. There are also many other museums and galleries close by as well as many fine restaurants.
Adriana’s place is spotlessly clean and very well organized. You will find everything that you need and more - including a lovely bowl of fresh fruit. The decor is fabulous with beautiful wood everywhere and amazing eclectic wall art and antiques.
But best of all is Adriana. Communication was excellent and she is truly a gem. So sweet and kind. She really wants her guests to have a great time and will help you in any way she can.
This was a fabulous place to stay. Excellent in every way.

Absolutely loved my stay at Adriana's casa! Adriana was one of the best hosts I've stayed with, incredibly nice and helpful, very communicative, the fridge was stocked with treats when I arrived, and she called a taxi for me the day I left. The inside is wonderful, so unique and well designed, and so many wonderful details, great central location. The stairs are probably not great for anyone with mobility issues, but I had no issues with them. Would stay again in a heartbeat, highly recommend!

From the beginning the host was flexible and quick to respond back via the vrbo app and later by WhatsApp. She met us when we arrived and ensured we know how everything worked. She was thorough and we worked together well to communicate in a mix of English and Spanish. She even left brochures and shared some ideas on activities and restaurants tailored to what she knew about us. There were all the things you would need to cook including some butter, coffee, jam and hot cocoa with a grocery store near by. The home is beautiful and cozy and it the perfect spot to walk to all the sites and to the train station. Staying there I felt at home.

Adriana is beyond the perfect hostess!! The showcased antiques are gorgeous!! Spotless and beautiful! She took the time to make a dinner reservation for us and then took us there.
The food was superb. She gave us
maps and pamphlets. She cares about every detail leaving us coffee and chocolate and fruit. The location is great to walk to everything!! Two thumbs up!

Perfect stay in Cordoba
This was an amazing property in Cordoba.
Adriana, was a great host. She communicated frequently and checked in during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. She also made some great recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions.
The property was in easy walking distance to most sites and we loved being able to swing by and rest or drop off purchases throughout the day.
The property also has lots of character and charm which we really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if I come back to Cordoba.

Parking NOT provided
As others have pointed out, this is a spotlessly clean property in a fantastic location. The rooms were charming and spacious enough, although the kitchen is a definite afterthought. We were very disapointed, however to find out that, although it is advertised in the listing, parking is not provided. This resulted in 45 min waiting for a spot at a nearby parkade and added over $25CAD per day to our stay. Communication with Adriana (who is very sweet) was also very dificult and although she demanded specific check in and check out times, she changed them at the last minute. She also did not seem to understand the different mean of communication (sms, email, messenger) and would switch from one to the other.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful city but you should be prepared for these issues.

Loved it
We loved staying at Adrianna's apartment. We had everything we needed and it was in a great location. Adrianna was super responsive and it was wonderful to meet her when she let us into the apartment. There were plenty of pantry items to get us started and she even left us some great treats. The bedrooms and bathroom are nicely sized but the kitchen is limited and there is only a small common space. You must also climb narrow stairs to get to both the bedrooms and the bathroom. We were out and about most of our stay and the stairs were not a problem for our group but something to consider depending on who is staying or if you plan to prepare large meals.
We loved our spot in Cordoba and highly recommend it to others!

Beautiful house in great location
This house is a very beautiful 18th century home within the city walls. It’s a great location for seeing all the sites in Córdoba, the old town and the new town. Adriana is the best host ever, kindly explaining the house and the city. She has provided absolutely everything that is needed for a perfect stay, and everything is top quality. Because the house is over 200 years old some spaces are small, but it is all so charming.

Excellent Location in Córdoba
Our stay in Casa La Carmen was perfect. The location is wonderful and Adriana was very helpful in sharing great restaurant suggestions, where to go for the Semana Santa processions (just a few doors down from the house), and assisting with taxi arrangements for our departure. The house is charming and has many interesting historic touches. We felt very much at home.

Perfect little house in a perfect location
2 friends staying at this cute little house had a fabulous time. The location is perfect, and the house spotlessly clean. Adriana gave us some fabulous recommendations for eating ( we tried three! All fantastic). The staircase is a bit scary at first, but you get used to it quickly. The suitcases were left on the ground floor, however that really was not a big issue. Adriana left us with yummy treats, and asked us to treat the house as our own. We loved this little house, with all its interesting features, as we loved Cordoba! I would return here, no problems.

Beautiful, great location, wonderful hospitality
Our family of 4 had a lovely stay in Adriana’s home. She was a thoughtful and considerate host, as she helped us locate the most convenient parking for our car and also went out of her way to make restaurant recommendations for us at some very delicious places! The house was centrally located and a 10 minute walk from Mezquita. The decorations and amenities were very well thought out, and the kids had a blast on the upper level lofted bedroom. Upon checkout, she sent her son to check if we needed help and he was equally accommodating! Overall we had a very fun and rewarding stay in Cordoba and we would be very happy to return here again in the future.

Perfect location in Cordoba
Two blocks from the river and a short walk to the Alcazar and Mezquita, the location of Casa la Carmen is wonderful. The common space, though tiny, is charming and remarkably well organized. Bedrooms and beds were great. Stairs are narrow, requiring caution on nighttime bathroom trips. Adriana was responsive and provided a quite detailed overview of the apartment as well as helpful recommendations of restaurants and sites. Overall an excellent experience.

A nice place to stay
The decor and ambiance were very nice. The apartment was clean and quiet, and the price is good for what is offered. Adrianna had much appreciated fruit, nuts, cookies, and other treats for us. The stairs required some caution because there aren't handrails at the bottom, but that's not a problem if you are aware. It would be good to make extra sure that Adrianna understands your plans. We were planning to walk part of the way before getting a taxi for the train station the morning of our departure. To our surprise, Adrianna had arranged for a taxi to pick us up. It was nice of her, but we weren't expecting it, weren't ready for it, and we couldn't get out of taking it. Regardless, I recommend Casa La Carmen as a very nice place to stay.

An interesting house, with everything you need, in a really good location
If you're looking for somewhere historical to stay, this is the perfect place. The house has lots of interesting features (I assume many are original, such as the stone sink). There's everything you need in the kitchen plus there's a nice modern bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean as well. We really appreciated the fruit, coffee and sweet treats that Adriana provided for us too. The only thing weren't keen on was the long pillow on the double bed.
Adriana gave us lots of information and a local map. The house is well connected, by bus, to the train station. If you take the bus, the stop is round the corner from the house and when you return to the train station, the bus stop is just a 5 min walk away.
From the house you can wander through the maze of narrow streets towards the beautiful mezquita. It's lovely to just get lost for a while and enjoy peaking through the doorways to catch glimpses of lots of beautiful private patios. We would recommend exploring to find and see the traditional quieter streets. On the main street near the house (San Fernando) there's a great juice bar (Zumerica) with a great selection of reasonably priced freshly squeezed juices and they do some breakfast items too. Beyond there are plenty of tapas restaurants and bars. Adriana showed us a couple of great places to eat nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay here in a unique property and found Adriana very helpful.

Step back in time...
This is a charming three story home with a tiny 16 by about 14 footprint. The architecture has an authenticity that is a delightful experience. I wonder what family lived here 300 years ago or 200 and now! Details are preserved and abundant with a sensitive renovation. A special experience and in the middle of everything.
Thanks Adrianna for your kind and gracious welcome.

wish we could have stayed longer
From beginning to end Adriana made us feel like family. She is warm and sincere. The perfect hostess and the best interior decorator. She gave it an extra special touch. The beds were very comfortable and everything you need for cooking was provided. Home was within walking distance to all places of historic interest. Close to market and restaurants. At her recommendation we ate at La Pimento and had a wonderful dinner reasonably priced. We would recommend Casa La Carmen to our families and friends.

Classic Charm in Old Town Cordoba
Wonderful apartment right in heart of the old town. Walking the narrow streets outside the front door really adds to the experience. Nice, well furnished apartment with authentic furnishings and art work. Really charming. Great location with easy walk to Mezquita and restaurants. Adriana was perfect in getting us comfortable settled and oriented. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.

Great place in Cordoba
The home has a lot of character and is in walking distance to all major sites. We had everything we needed. A short taxi ride from the train station (could walk but it was 100+ F) when we arrived. Adriana was a wonderful host. She provided terrific restaurant recommendations, some fresh fruit and sweets on arrivals. We couldnt have asked for more!

Nice old fashion
It was a very nice townhouse in the best part of Cordoba. It was so cosy and full of small old original things. Almost like stepping back in time. We spend 2 day there and would gladly stay in the same apartment again, if we should pass by.

Great character property
This is a very well restored old house within the walls of Cordoba's old town. Very convenient for the city. Ariana was very welcoming and helpful. It is very compact with a spiral staircase but if that does not present a difficulty for you, then go for it!
