We chose this hotel as we were late on the road to Hacienda Napoles from Medellin and didn't disappoint. Service of the staff is amazing. They treat you like family.

Rooms were very small. Perhaps not the ideal option if you're going to Hacienda Napoles since the road to Puerto Triunfo is very bumpy and irregular.

Comfortable bed/room with AC and overhead fan; either drowning out any noise. Looks to be one of the newer facilities in Puerto Triunfo. Family-ran facility, very helpful. Centralized location with everything within easy walking distance.

Excellent location and brilliant staff. strangely, the hotel rooms don't have hot water but the ambient temperature whilst I was there was such that I was quite happy. Puerto Triunfo is a lovely little village and, if returning, I would always be happy to stay in Hotel Paraiso Plaza again. Hotel has good parking.

This is a personal thing but when staying in a hotel I need to do an amount of work so I need a chair and table (or desk). Also, facilities to make tea/coffee would be nice. Unfortunately, Colombian hotels don't usually supply these facilities. So, on my Colombian scale, I liked Hotel Paraiso Plaza and I give it 10 out of 10.
