We have rented this unit for many years and love it. A few suggestions: the A/C might need the freon checked. The unit had a hard time cooling during the day but caught up at night. Also, all of the carpets, freestanding and regular carpets, may need to be steam cleaned. Our feet kept getting dirty walking around the unit. Other than those two things, we loved our stay in the unit.

Summerhouse is a wonderful location to enjoy some winter weeks. Unit SH 353 is larger than most other and has more windows. However, the unit badly needs updating (e.g. upstairs carpet and living room sofas.)

Everything at this location was exceptional. The location and the views are beautiful. Everything we are looking for in a longterm rental.My only suggestion for this unit is to get more modern plumbing fixtures. The shower head in the master bathroom needs an upgrade.We enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to keep coming back for many years to come.

Overall an extremely enjoyable stay at Summerhouse 353. Comfortable accommodations and very pleased with the amenities and activities provided. Property was clean and accommodating. Few minor adjustments such as a new shower head in the master bath as the water pressure is low. Reported to office master bath had a drain stop malfunction, loose handrail to the second floor and a few lightbulb replacements which are currently not attended to.We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.Loved our stay and hope to return for a longer time next year.

We love Summerhouse! The location near the end of Crescent Beach is amazing, laid back, relaxing. There was a nice added touch of on property fireworks provided by Summerhouse for the Fourth of July. The office staff seemed to be in transition with new, inexperienced staff during this very busy week. Unit 353 is all about location - an end of building unit with extra entry space, extra balcony space, extra windows with exceptional beach views and a large primary bedroom. The unit itself is lack-luster with dated furnishings, 1980's (original) kitchen and bathroom counters and fixtures. However, we do not come to Summerhouse to sit inside so we overlook the interior and revel in the fun-in-the-sun experiences at the beach and pool side. Heading back in 2024!

Condo was exceptionally clean! Lovely ocean front view. Check-in was a little rough, but it was one of the busiest days for people leaving and coming, so understandable. Staff friendly and helpful.

There was not one comfortable seating space in the living area. There was a broken window with a holey screen in the guest room. There were many window screens missing throughout the entire condo. Slider curtains were yucky so we left them open the entire 3 months we lived there.

We spent 1 week around Christmas in Unit 353 which was very nicely appointed. The weather didn't cooperate, but we enjoyed the stay nonetheless. We always love getting back to Summerhouse and our visits up to St. Augustine.

Summerhouse 353 was very clean. It seems to have been renovated recently and well maintained. We loved our stay. This is our second time staying at Summerhouse. The amenities are great. Our boys love the heated pools. The ladies in the front office are very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Our first trip to Summerhouse was in July, 1983, with our five very young children. We have visited 22-23 summers since then. Now we have a wonderful time with our children, GRANDchildren and extended family; eight units in July, 2021. We treasure our Summerhouse vacation! Hubby and I have rented the same unit for eleven years now, a corner townhouse which is a little larger than 'inside' townhouses, with a spectacular view because of the extra windows. Since we have access to a variety of other units, however, we see many upgrades in kitchens, bathrooms and furnishings. We realize how dated 'our' unit has become. But, as I said, it's location, location, location. We will continue our visits to 353 because, truly, we go to Summerhouse to enjoy the balcony, pool and sandy beaches! Til July, 2022!
