Liked the location - liked the amount of showers since we had a family of 7

If a child is 2, they aren't given any type of bedding. The small pillows have to be shared between adults and the child. There were 7 of us but only 6 were considered paying adults since under 2 is free - the bottom floor has some awesome beds for kids and adults alike, yet the owner chose for us which beds we were to use. We ended up moving bedding around to make it comfortable for us. I feel the owner should have had all beds made and left the decision up to the renters. I only have that opinion since all other places we've stayed have done that. It was rather disappointing when we asked about the bedding situation and had to find out the hard way. I think those things should be disclosed.

Home was very clean and tidy. The dining area provided lots of seating space and allowed us to have meals at home. The selection of rooms and beds were great. Sleeping in the bunk pods was fun. 3 showers and 3 toilets were good as we were a group of 8 guests. The availability of a washer and dryer was great when staying a week like we did. Walking distance to the train station was convenient. Great location for food shopping (Life Tatsumi store/supermarket), variety of small eating establishments, McDonald's, great secondhand store 2nd Street nearby, gaming store, Family Mart, Uniqlo. Having English instructions by the washing machine and dryer would be useful. We used Google translate and then contacted the owner for help. He was very quick to respond. Beds were made up for four couples when we were a group of eight individuals. Once we told the owner more linen was provided. Great option for families and larger groups of guests.

Couldn't use the stove top as there were no instructions. But I'm sure if we asked the owner he would have helped. Didn't realise there was a very narrow circular staircase between the bottom level and the middle floor. Carrying suitcases between floors is a bit hard due to the steepness of the steps (tip use bottom door entrance and leave suitcases downstairs not practical but easier access).
