Location was great - close to the ponds, and a short drive to the weir. Bakery/cafe close by, so breakfast available. Microwave and crockery and cutlery were very handy. The proprietor ensured us a downstairs room with parking out the front, which assisted my husband and I greatly.

Lack of overhead lighting in our room was a bit of a problem.

staffs were nice and very helpful. Room was clean and comfy. Surprised by the facilities they have, swimming and barbecue area.

The WiFi voucher was not as expected. lots of vouchers were in the envelope but only one worked… we had 5G internet, so not a big deal to be honest.

What a charming place! My friend and I stayed the night here on a bike trip. The motel was such a lovely treat to arrive at. The place was clean, setup with care and attention to little details, and the managers were incredibly responsive. It is just around the corner from the town centre, so it was super convenient to get to food, and the walk around the pondage that's across the way was just beautiful. We were so delighted with everything! Also, I lost my little traveling companion stuffie that I have taken with me on many bike adventures, across four countries and two continents. They were kind enough not just to do a thorough search, but also asked for a photo to post on the town's Facebook page. It was just so kind of them to do what they could to help alleviate my distress.

Friendly welcome, great facilities - although an older building the presentation is clean and up to date with extra facilities such as a pizza oven, hot plates and oven at the BBQ area with good facilities for washing up, salt pepper and oil to use, along with all you need in terms of cutlery and utensils. The pool looked inviting but we did not have a chance to use it. The room was quiet and cool.

The air conditioner couldn't be used as it obviously had never been cleaned, you could see the layers of dust on it. Once turned on it was making us sneeze, have constant runny nose and itchy eyes. Just horrible!! For a pet friendly motel, it would have been full of animal hair also. Not nice at all.

Good location, clean, off street parking, friendly staff and walking distance to everything.

Dated decor, a bit noisy at night time, old tv-set unable to view HD programs.

Loved the pool, BBQ and location was nice & quietbwith easy access to shops next door, a basket ball court where kids could.play and the Lake & Marina
