The house was very nice with a great sunset view. Almost daily we would see an eagle in the tree on the golf course.

Choose this property and you will be happy you did! We enjoyed our stay here immensely in April! I apologize for taking so long to post a review! Wade was a great host and very responsive. His place was immaculate! Beautifully decorated. Very updated. Comfortable beds and couch. We came for a wedding which was held at Tarpon Lodge down the road. My husband and I stayed here along with my son and wife and baby for a couple of nights and then they left and my daughter stayed with us for a couple of nights. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was well supplied with most anything you could possibly need. If you forget an item, you will probably find it here! Kitchen stocked and bathrooms stocked! Everyone's favorite thing about Wade's property was the huge and comfortable back upper porch!!! It was so quiet and peaceful and screened in so barely a bug to bother you! Comfortable outdoor furniture and also table and chairs to dine out there. You will want to bring some good books and stay here for a while! The Publix grocery store was less than 10 minutes away. Blue Dog Bar and Grill (about 12 min away) was a great place to get some food and drink! Once we ordered out and brought it back to our place. Once ate there and walked around the little town of Matlacha and peeked in some of the cute shops (gifts, souvenirs, clothing, ice cream) that were still there after the damage done to the town from the hurricane. Everyone we encountered was super friendly! Thanks Wade!

II had a very good time on this island, the house was clean and comfortable, located in a good quiet place, on the island you can rent a boat and go fishing

Overall, had a great week at this property. Beautiful sunsets, great birding, well decorated & comfy bed. A bit challenging getting into the property. A few suggestions: a light over the dining area table, new knobs on the stovetop w numbers/settings. Also, many switches in the home that did not seem to light anything. We would stay here again!

This property is newly renovated, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Home was clean and beds were very comfortable. The location was quiet and very relaxing with view of the golf course. The covered porch was a favorite spot to have a meal, relax reading a book, watching the wildlife play in the pond or enjoying the sunset. Owner and property manager were very nice and responded quickly to questions. My family enjoyed our time on the island as there were many things to do and see. Note that there is a grocery store located short distance from the property making it easy to get items when wanting to cook a meal. Community was very friendly and welcoming and made me want to return in the very near future.
