The stilt house is located in a perfect spot. Beach access was less than half a block and across the street….perfect! The house was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed and more The house is very dog friendly. Highly recommend.

The stilt house is a wonderful place to stay. The owner provided everything we needed to have a wonderful beach vacation.... even a wagon to transport it all to the beach. It's in a perfect location with great views. It's far enough away from the city to be peaceful but close enough to grocery stores, shopping, great restaurants, and fun activities. Karen was very patient with us as first time VRBO users and made everything easy. I would definitely recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed!!!

We are 4 sisters from PA, GA, and FL that stayed at the Stilt House for 8 days. The house was amazing, the Sunset and Sunrise views from the house were spectacular! The short walk to the beach was great! We enjoyed several local restaurants, the Sugarsand Festival in Clearwater, the Seaside Bird Sanctuary, and John's Pass Boardwalk. Loved the convenience of the elevator and the private dock was great! We will definitely be back!!!!

This was the best place we have stayed in Indian Shores! Karen was so great and accommodating. The views front and back were incredible. House was clean and just as seen in pics. Loved the beach chairs and toys available. Everything we needed was there for us.
We will be coming back to this amazing property. So sad to leave!!

We loved the water views. Awesome to sit on the deck and watch the sunset. Loved the easy beach access. Walked to DJ’s Clam Shack (as seen on Diners, Drive ins and Dives). Very comfortable stay.

The property is everything as advertised and more.
Easy access to two pieces of paradise - the long stretch of sandy beach out the front, as well as a private dock on the inter-coastal waterway out the back.
Everything is provided for a relaxing vacation. We really appreciated the top notch kitchen supplies, from quality cookware, dishes and cutlery, to the slow cooker.
The home is very clean, and well laid for two couples, with a clear separation in sleeping areas.
We also appreciated the quality furniture and TVs, and the internet worked flawlessly.
The elevator is awesome for moving luggage, as well as for those guests with mobility challenges.
The host provides prompt and courteous communication.

We had a lovely week at Stilt House! The house was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, easy access to the beach, and ocean/sunset views from the porch. We’d love to stay again!

Our family had a relaxing and enjoyable stay here. The house was nice and had a good view of the ocean and the waterway in the back. We were able to see manatee at the dock as well as go fishing. The elevator was a big help. The walk to the beach was very manageable and not very far. The sunsets were amazing! Dogs are not allowed on the beach here or in many other places in this area. There are some designated dog areas but we just stayed on the property or took walks down the street. But overall a good experience.

This was one of the best places we have stayed. Clean, updated, and great location. It reminded us of our home. Very open and spacious. Even though there were 3 of us, you could have 4-5 and not feel on top of each other. The only downside was a place to walk our dogs too but they adjusted well and brought them home when I left. We will definitely look again for this in the future. Great communication between the owner once I got there. Didn’t need much guidance after that. Everyone was friendly and helpful at the beach too. Beach was in great shape, beautiful sunsets, sand dollars, and shark teeth. Great local places to eat and convenient to grocery. Nice dock out back to fish.

This place is beautiful. The views of the intercostal and the ocean are beautiful. The place was spotless when we got there. Lots of great beach items and bicycles. Lots of kitchen items, great linens and comfy beds. The elevator was a godsend when we carried in the groceries and luggage. You don’t see too many beach homes with an elevator. Also, the beach is soooooo close. We enjoyed the short walk as it made going back to the house for something we forgot that much easier. There is an adorable cottage in front of this house. If you need more room, rent that out to accommodate more family/guests. We looked in, don’t worry, Karen told us we could. It is perfect for a small group. One note: the pictures do not do this place justice. The views are great!

We really enjoyed this property and the entire surrounding area. The beach is a short walk across the street and on Gulf Blvd there are many restaurants and cute little shops. The owners have a beautiful place and it is completely loaded with everything you need for your beach vacation! We had such a great time and hope to be back again. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful month at this house in Indian Shores. It’s fabulous to stand in the living room and see the sun rising on one side over the Intercoastal and then that evening see the sunset over the beach on the other side.

Everything was as described in the listing. They had a lot of supplies (bedding, towels, beach chairs) for guests to use. The house was clean and well organized. The kids loved the dock on the intercoastal side. Short walk to the beach, and you could see the gulf from the front deck. The owners were very kind, and had good recommendations for the area. We enjoyed our stay!

5 Star views of both the beach and intercostal! The house was clean and updated. Gorgeous beach access just a few steps away. The owner is very nice and communicative. Would have given it 5 stars except: the noise - the highway in front of the house is quite busy and there was some disruptive late-night/early-morning noise from the second property at the unit. Also, the wifi drops often and is problematic if you are trying to do work or anything that requires significant bandwidth. But, overall, we had a wonderful stay and the home is definitely good for beach access and awesome views -not to mention the super cool private dock in the mangrove lagoon. You can watch the sunset and rise from the living room! Beautiful rental!

We had a great time! Property was very clean and had everything we needed and more. It was in a perfect location where we could walk to most of the places we wanted to go. We loved the bikes. The island is very bike friendly. It was very nice to have a beach view from the balcony. The only issue we had was with heat not working, so we had two little chilly days, but Janet, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful and provided us with space heaters. After Tuesday the weather went back to usual Florida weather and we enjoyed the sun and warm temps. Thank you!

The property was immaculate. Every at home comfort was in place. The hosts have thought of everything! The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. There were extra blankets to use when watching tv. The property was truly pet-friendly down to flooring and the nature pathway leading to the private dock. If you are looking for a perfect, pet-friendly, beach house - you found it!

This was our second year staying at the house. It is very clean, and the host is very responsive. Ian was slated to hit the area the week we originally booked, the owner let us switch to another week. The elevator is a nice feature for my elderly father. The house is bright and open, and is just…comfortable. We will be back.

This incredibly affordable vacation home is worth every penny spent on travel and accommodations. Communication was excellent and I was never in doubt regarding directions and what I would find. The house is lived in, and I say that as a compliment to the comfort and utility of the house. You can open the door like it's yours, fill the refrigerator, and start your vacation. You have everything you need; Towels, pots, pans, washer/dryer, music, and a view. The house is within a short walking distance of the beach, a store, boutique ice cream (legit-yummy), and food (too many awesome restaurants to name). The dock is the secret sauce for a relaxing evening, fishing, or private adult tanning experience.
As I said in the title, before we left the property we secured our place in line for next year. I can not give higher praise.

This property was absolutely perfect. The house was equipped with everything you possibly need and more. Perfect location and the view of the ocean every morning was beautiful! Just walk across the street and you are at the beach. Literally 200 steps away. Love, love, loved our stay there and didn't want to leave. Will definitely rent again in the near future!

We wanted to be near the beach with amenities within walking distance. We had our whole extended family stay at the property along with the cottage. The morning sunrise from the back balcony and the sunsets on the front balcony were stunning. For us, this property delivered!

The beach house on stilts was really nice. The owner was receptive once we let her know we had no cable. We didn't know about the red tide so between the bad weather, red tide, and lack of cable we wished we had stayed close to my son instead of at the beach. The red tide was bad.
