WE HAD ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND IN PURA VIDA

PROPERTY WAS CLEAN, WELL STOCKED, AND IN GOOD CONDITION

We stayed at this location to visit family who were staying in Boca Grande. We wanted a place with a little privacy that wasn't as expensive as Boca Grande and had more grocery options without being stuck behind the Boca Grande toll gate. The units are spacious and clean, with a full-size fridge and oven. My only small complaint is that we were in the bottom unit and could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and talking. Luckily, they weren't up late at night, so it was manageable.
The host has a great deal of knowledge about the area and provides a nice binder of places to go and things to see on the kitchen table. We took the ferry across the road to the private island and collected more fossilized shark teeth than we ever thought we would find.
This unit would be highly recommended for multiple parties who wish to stay together. If you know two families that could utilize the top and bottom units, I would certainly recommend reaching out to this host.

This place did not disappoint! High end finishes and kept very nice. Beautiful outdoor area. The chairs and beach towels were a bonus when we went to the beaches in the area. You won’t regret it!

This location was ideal for us to ride bikes and drive to various beaches. The beach chairs and umbrellas we borrowed came in handy! We had a great time, used the hot tub and the grill many times!

Paradise in Placida
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pura Vida. The Cape Haze apt is everything that you would expect a rental close to the beach to be. Extra clean, fully outfitted, beautiful grounds and for us, close to my brother's new place!

Peaceful and relaxing setting
This apartment was lovely! The kitchen was well-furnished, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment was tastefully decorated. The outdoor areas were exceptional--there were plenty of places to relax and enjoy our time away from the real world. One bit of information for potential renters--bring quarters if you plan to do laundry. We loved our time here and would gladly stay again.

Near perfect stay for our biking vacation.
The condo is in great shape and really suited our needs. The kitchen had a full sink, plenty of counterspace, and a full-size fridge, stove, and microwave. Be advised that the hot tub can take up to 12 hours to heat up. Once we learned that we enjoyed using it for late-night soaks. The courtyard has a very relaxed, zen feel, despite being next to a fairly main road. The unit is close to a grocery store (1-2 miles), across the street from a nice restaurant and a very nice sidewalk extends for miles in both directions that is very good for biking. You can actually bike to two area bike trails right from the condo. The owners were very accommodating and responded promptly when we couldn't figure out the hot tub. Internet was decent, and my only minor complaint was that the cable TV came in at pre-digital resolution and was letterboxed. I think the cable box is just really old. The TV itself was fine, but if HDTV video quality is essential you will be disappointed. We would come again and would probably stay a few days longer. Some of the other guests were staying for several weeks.

Last minute get away for the weekend.
Had everything we needed and enjoyed having a private hot tub.
Was very clean and well maintained.
Would definitely go back.
The only downfall was the people in the unit above us sounded they were wearing boots & moving furniture.
Luckily that was only 1 night.
We will go back but request the upstairs unit.

A Hidden Treasure
We were pleasantly surprised by the location and amenities. Katja and Alex have created a wonder land of relaxation and comfort. Every effort was made to accommodate our needs. We were pleasantly surprised by the surrounding area with restaurants and beaches a short drive away. Can’t say enough of how they transformed our visit Into a place we just didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend this treasure for your visit in the area.

Amazing - A Gem - Quiet, Great Location
We booked our "Cape Haze" apt here the same day we flew to FL (last minute get-away from MN). Katja (host) was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way. We flew into Ft Myers at 10pm and had no problems finding the apt or accessing it... The instructions we received from Katja were spot on, and our unit was immaculate which put our minds at ease right away. We absolutely loved the central location of this special property, as we traveled around (to Englewood, Venice, Siesta Keys, Ft Myers, Sarasota, Nokomis, Bonita Springs and Gasparilla Island) exploring so many great places. At Pura Vida, we enjoyed our very own hot-tub, sunbathing, and outdoor living area/space. It was relaxing and perfect for our vacation get-away. And I must say THANK YOU to whomever upkeeps the property as well as those who clean the property and grounds because our apt and the entire property was incredibly clean and meticulously maintained - LOVED the Tiki theme and structures, and the various plants and fruit trees planted throughout property, the free use of beach chairs & cooler & umbrella, the bikes for rent, the welcome card and beautifully laminated booklet with local sites and recommendations (our favorites being: Joe Maxx Coffee Co, Thursday's Englewood Farmers market, and the Mango Bristro). We've already recommended this property to friends and family. Thank you for a great vacation!

Wonderful Stay
We stayed for 5 nights in March 202. Everything was super clean and the host was very responsive.
The kitchen had everything we needed and more, really high quality pots, pans etc.. Attention to details by the hosts was impressive. The SPA was also very clean and relaxing. Place is very peaceful.

A Relaxing, Lovely Stay
We could not have chosen a better place to stay than the Pura Vida! The hosts were friendly and accommodating, not to mention gave us the best recommendations for restaurants. The tiki area/ hot tub/ fruit trees were HEAVENLY. I was beyond pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The bed was so comfy and the rest of the appliances were in perfect condition. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Terrific stay
We had a great short weekend staying at the Cape Haze Apt. The place was exceptionally clean and just as nicely decorated as in the photos. We went to Leverock's for dinner just across the street. Very convenient to have a restaurant with good food and nice sunset views so close. Highly recommend!

Amazing Hosts - Superb Standards.
I really cannot say enough about the quality we experienced at this beautiful & cozy retreat. We have stayed at many, many VRBO / Air BB rentals and Alex and Katja set the very highest standards for their property. From the kind and personal welcome, the immaculate property in every detail, generous amenities and attention to detail we came to learn how much these two love what they do. Always ready with helpful tips on how to enjoy the area but never 'hovering' they set the standards for what great VRBO hosts can be.
