Wonderful little place... worked perfectly for my my wife and I, and our granddaughter. Everything was just as it should be. Definitely enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip. John and Cindy are fantastic in both their maintenance of the property and communications! We were so completely comfortable and really appreciated how centrally located the property is.

The property is centrally located in Old Colorado City. Very close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Cozy house and the owners were very responsive during the whole process.

We loved staying in this home. Every little detail was special. Cindy and John have taken such great care to make you feel at home- from the welcome sign, to a special note left, to all the snacks - it was my favorite VRBO rental I've stayed in. They have the gift of hospitality. It had all that we needed and some extra!! The backyard area had so much to do with yard games and fire pit. I was just sad we had a full weekend as we were here for a funeral and couldn't use it all. We would love to come back and stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this Modern Farmhouse. The owners were so thoughtful with the Christmas decorations, greetings, etc. It was a great location for us easily accessing most things in short distance.

This VRBO is truly one of the best we have ever stayed in! From the GREAT communication with the owners to the beautiful way the house is decorated to the awesome coffee bar, everything was thought of and well done! Even with a mishap with the water heater that they were quick to address, I loved our stay. Great location, great decor, beautiful backyard, welcoming front yard, and well-stocked kitchen, I would highly recommend this VRBO!

My husband and I have travelled from Maine to Florida, Cape Cod to California and many places/states in between. Modern Farmhouse was one of the best, if not THE BEST, place we've stayed. Cindy and John personalize your stay. They make sure you have everything you need for your stay! The Modern Farmhouse is an incredible place to unwind at the end of the day!

This place was just perfect for our little family. We walked in and we immediately felt at home. Everything was decorated beautifully (pics on VRBO doesn’t do it Justice). House was very clean and the host sure thought of everything that is needed for their guests! We loved the extra snacks they had in the kitchen and all cute little messages. They were great with communication. House is located so close to many attractions. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here for our future visits!

This property is just as described in listing. Host are very quick to respond to anything you might need information on. They were able to get us checked early which was a great bonus. Outdoor area was very nice an had everything needed for us to enjoy 2 nights of grilling an enjoying being out side. As an added bonus the next door neighbor had 4 deer in the backyard eating grass near dark the first night. Would highly recommend!

Let’s just say this was probably the best experience we have ever had with a VRBO rental to date. I never had the type of service that John/Cindy provided. Especially all the little touches from the welcome card to the kids toys, which my daughter and son absolutely loved the building blocks/table. They even had everything to start and have a bonfire including stuff for s’mores! Lastly, my son forgot his souvenir coins in the night stand, which he was all down about, but Cindy came in and saved the day by putting them in the mail for us, which we are truly grateful for. If we are ever back in town we definitely know we will be staying here again. Again, thank you so much Cindy for be so helpful and making our family trip feel so special!

The house was perfect for 4 people and it was a beautiful CO home! The home was very well kept and had all the amenities/household items we needed. Cindy and John were great hosts and answered any questions in a timely fashion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The owner included so many extra touches... coffee bar, smores kit, welcome card, etc. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We would definitely stay again!

The owners thought of everything! We were well-supplied and taken care of during the week in Colorado. The location is wonderful and close to all kinds of shopping and places to eat. The neighborhood is quiet and conducive to relaxing. Good communication from owners. Appreciated them!

Great Location, Quiet and Well located. Close to points of interest in all directions. Home was Momma Clean and Daddy Maintained. We enjoyed the added bonus of the small-town atmosphere of Territory Day celebration in Old Colorado City on Memorial Day weekend.

I would absolutely rent this property again. Owners are very accommodating, for a last minute guest. They seem to have thought about everything to make sure your stay is comfortable. Absolutely amazing coffee bar!!

This home is so comfortable and well appointed...we truly wanted for nothing during our stayas EVERY detail has been considered by the hosts. An absolutely PERFECT location to Old Colorado City, downtown, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, or anywhere else you would want to go. Loved the sense of community created with the guest book/area guide. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

We had such a great time at this awesome house. It is very clean and updated and we were beyond impressed at all of the extras provided. It is conveniently located close to Manitou Springs in a quiet neighborhood. Private backyard too. We would love to stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay for many reasons. The location was central for seeing our family and also easy access to major roads and to things to do. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house is well maintained. The owners are very generous with amenities including a well-stocked coffee bar, cooking staples, toiletries, etc. We did not have a chance to use the backyard but it too was set up for outdoor enjoyment. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We cannot express what a truly superb experience we had at the modern farmhouse. There is nothing the hosts have not thought of to make one feel at home and comfortable. We marveled at every discovery we made during our stay. They went above and beyond in supplying guests with amenities, from not only the coffee/beverage choices, but the methods in which the coffee can be brewed along with additives. Fresh flowers, snacks/supplies, quality beds, pillows and linens *flannel sheets* in winter are only the beginning (There are even phone chargers built into the headboard which unfortunately we didn't discover until removing the sheets for laundering). The charm and decor are so welcoming. The craftsmanship put into modernizing this home, but keeping the older accents intact are admirable. The lighting is so fun and calming. The lit up flag at the front door - much appreciated! The backyard complete w/ fire pit and wood is a delight - only wish we had more time to enjoy it. I could go on and on about this little haven in Old Colorado City.....The time and thoughtfulness put into renovating and welcoming guests is truly top notch! Highly recommend this gem!!

This house is impeccably clean, wonderfully comfortable, and amazingly cozy and in a perfect location to explore Colorado Springs. The manager Cindy was very communicative and responsive to any questions we had. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. I highly recommend this house!
