We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s equipped with everything you might need or want. The owner and property manager were very communicative and responsive to any concerns.I was pleasantly surprised that there were some local businesses about a block away, which was very convenient.

Just Like Home
The property was very cozy and warm (just like the picture).
It snowed the second night of our stay. It was absolutely beautiful watching the snowfall from the cabin's top balcony. It had all the amenities of home (bottled water, kitchen stocked with all items a chef - like me - would have). We can't wait to return during the Summer. So, we can walk the trails and see the neighborhood more. We will definitely visit again very soon.

AWESOME COZY CABIN!
Found this gem online and liked it right away. It’s a VERY cozy 2-story cabin with decent space! we had 4 people and a 5th friend visited us also and we all got comfortably. Cabin is well equipped, very clean, roomier than you’d think and comes with games to entertain you while you’re staying in. Heater system so strong we had to turn it off at one point! next time i come up this way, i am without a doubt going to boom this cabin again. Thank you Kevin, you’re awesome man.

Perfect Little Getaway - Super Pet Friendly
You will not regret it… Beautiful warm and inviting Cabin. We had an Amazing stay for my husbands birthday weekend. It’s not easy to find a true pet friendly rental, Cabin763 encourages you to bring your fury pets along.

Staying in was a treat… We ordered and picked up (under 10min walk) dinner from the Bear House family restaurant. Recommend the ribeye steak and babyback rib dinners.

Charming Dog-Friendly Cabin for a Long Weekend!
We have stayed in many VRBOs, hotels, etc., and it is rare that something exceeds my expectations. This one did! From the initial reservation to the stay itself, to check out, this was a wonderful stay!
This was the first trip we have taken anywhere since pre-pandemic, so I had high hopes. Kevin, the owner, and Patti, the property manager, were excellent re: communication, and everything was extremely easy and smooth. The cabin itself was utterly enchanting and well-appointed, with every amenity imaginable, and more! You can tell that Kevin is the kind of owner who really wants his guests to enjoy their stay, and it showed in every detail. The decor was modern/mountain and updated, with cozy comfort and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Super clean - and I am picky about cleanliness! Loved the two decks, one off the loft bedroom with charming bistro table and chairs for morning coffee, and large ground level patio with chairs, tables and Edison lights for relaxing evenings outside. It was busy in town due to the holiday, but we did walk 2 minutes to watch a fun 4th of July parade, and shopped at some of the charming stores. We like to cook meals at home, and this was easy to do in the cute kitchen with everything you need, even a coffee bar!
The best part is that our dogs were welcomed here! It's often hard to find places that take dogs that are high quality, but when Kevin sent me pics of his own dogs enjoying the cabin, I knew we had chosen the right rental. There is even a cute fenced dog run area just off the patio that is super convenient. There is a lot of wildlife here (cool to see!), but be careful to watch your dogs when they are outside.
The cabin is well-maintained and feels private, even though this is in a residential neighborhood with other homes nearby. We rarely heard neighbors, and since every home is nestled in between thick, tall pines in this heavily forested area, we didn't really notice other homes around us. One thing to consider is that you probably need to be in decent shape to stay here - there are semi-steep stairs from the parking spot down to the front door, then super steep stairs up to the loft bedroom (a great workout, haha). Also, the shower is a bit tight. These were not issues at all for us, but something to consider.
Besides being dog-friendly, two other big pluses were air-conditioning and washer/dryer - these were great to have, and hard to find in So Cal mountain rentals.

Mountain Getaway
We had a great getaway to Crestline. Everything was just as advertised, clean, cozy cabin. Very well appointed with things you need to cook your meals. The coffee was good. the heaters worked well to keep temp comfortable. The outside area is fenced so we were comfortable letting the dog out. We hiked around Lake Gregory and up to Heart Rock. would recommend it!

this cabin was absolutely perfect for a little getaway. my fiancé and i loved it and will definitely be returning. it warms up super fast and the electric heaters were very convenient. they supplied board games for us which was way cool. kevin and patti are both really helpful and friendly. 10/10 love this place and i’d definitely recommend it to anyone!

Mountain get a away in the time of Covid!
Perfect cabin for a get away ! The cabin was immaculate , clean . Kitchen was well stocked Utensils , lots of paper towels, even wine glasses and two shot glasses . Keurig machine and a coffee pot and came with lots of little kcups and Mugs for drinking a cup of coffee on the patio . Paper goods , pots and pans etc . Patio area was perfect for grilling and very easy to use . Overall i enjoyed my stay and bad the comforts from home , location was close to lake Gregory and to the marketplace . I will definitely be coming back !!!! Kevin and patti are good at communicating and very accommodating, very dog friendly !

Amazing little place!
We absolutely LOVED staying here. The owner and manager are always in contact and very helpful in guiding you in things to do! The cabin itself is gorgeous, none of that horribly gaudy grandma cabin decorations you see in most rentals. It was in the 90s during our entire stay, but both the upstairs and downstairs AC kept the cabin cool during the day for our pet and at night for us. Everything was clean when we got there and it was so great being able to do laundry too! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and we are planning on renting this place again in the future! I would say no more than four people could comfortably stay there- the cabin is small and there are quite a few steps inside and out. The ONLY drawback was that you can’t really see the night sky from anywhere at the cabin as the tree cover is pretty substantial there. But you can just walk up the street for a clearer view at night. We loved our stay and hope to go again!!

Cozy, comfortable getaway
We had a wonderful getaway at Cabin 763. The cabin was very clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, salt and pepper, pots and pans. And there are free drinks in the refrigerator (soda and water) and a cupboard with cereal, oatmeal, instant ramen, and microwave popcorn. There are AC units upstairs and downstairs which kept us comfortable in the hot weather. Kevin, the owner, was super friendly and great about communicating with me about our stay.

Valentine's Day Getaway
We were very impressed with the cleanliness, welcoming feel and over all attention to detail put into the property. The living room fireplace made the perfect romantic setting for cuddling and watching movies. The kitchen had everything you could ask for and the welcome basket was the perfect touch to make us feel right at home.
The upstairs and bathroom heaters were a huge convenience and made our stay very comfortable. We also took advantage of the multiple blue tooth speakers, listening to music while we enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen.
The cabin is conveniently located next to multiple lakes and close by ski resorts, with restaurants, markets and shops within walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin to couples looking for the perfect romantic getaway.

Cozy and perfect
Wonderful stay, exactly what was shown on the website. Great renovation, everything was easy and owners were very helpful and accommodating. Close to near by town and market. I’d recommend this place any day, you will not be disappointed. Roomy but cozy, beautifully designed and decorated. You could spend much time in the cabin. No issues with warmth on cold nights, very comfy bed and family room couch. This was the perfect getaway.

Excellent accommodations
My wife, two kids and dog thoroughly enjoyed Kevin’ cabin. It’s charming and cozy with a very well equipped kitchen. There’s good restaurants and shopping five minutes away. It’s a 10 minute drive to the Crestline village by beautiful Lake Gregory. Heart Rock trail is a very cool hike about 15 minutes away. We shall return!

All the stars
This cabin was the absolute sanctuary I was looking for. I wanted a quick and quiet get away from the city for myself and stumbled on this gem. The cabin is tucked away off the street surrounded by trees. It’s beautifully decorated and furnished with all the amenities one could ask for.
There’s a great down home restaurant called the Bear House that’s a 5 minute walk away. The cabin has a full kitchen but I ate there almost everyday. The lake is barley an 8 minute drive away and is easy to get to from the cabin.
Checking in and out was a breeze. I couldn’t have asked for a better location or a better experience. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

AMAZING CABIN
We stayed an entire weekend and our family had such an amazing time! This cabin has all you need to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle of city living. The best part is that it was only an hour and a half drive from our house, which makes a world of difference when you just want to get away for the weekend. Despite the short distance from home, you felt like you were in Colorado with all the trees and lovely nearby lakes. The well-appointed cabin made us feel right at home, cooking family meals was a breeze. I am so in love with this cabin, I will be back for sure. I see our family returning very soon. Thank you, Kevin, for being such an attentive host, your cabin is as cozy as can be!

Cozy, Classy Escape Cabin
I had the pleasure of staying in this warm, cozy cabin twice last summer as my own personal writing retreat and "Escape from L.A." - it was perfect for that mission. The place had everything I needed - full kitchen, stocked coffee station, a patio with comfortable furniture to soak up the day surrounded by pine trees and nature while on my laptop. The bedroom has a great patio to wake up to and greet the day and the street is quiet and friendly, densely wooded.
Kevin (Owner) was very communicative, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Loved the fact that a great diner and some fun shops were just a few minute walk down the street ... and Lake Gregory was only a 5-minute drive away. The town of Crestline is quaint and fun to hang out in as well. I couldn't recommend this vacation spot more highly.

A short drive and a world away from Insane LA!
If you want to have a little getaway in the mountains, Cabin763 is the place to go! It’s decorated so beautifully and not one amenity is missing for your getaway. Being from the hustle and bustle of LA we fall asleep to cars driving by and horns honking. Being able to fall asleep to the tree leaves blowing in the wind with the balcony doors open and waking up to the birds chirping was the much needed relaxation that we were seeking. There are neighboring homes and cabins but you’d never know it by just the noise or lack thereof. The lighting throughout the cabin is perfect. So many board games to play with your family or friends plus a smart TV pending if you so choose. The town is very quaint. There are a few dining spots and a few lively bars on the main strip. Our purpose of this trip was to rest and relax so I can’t comment too much on the nightlife/bar scene. Of course I can’t forget the lake...it’s the main attraction. It’s beautiful and has a floating course. Kiddos as well as adults will love it! One of the best cabins I’ve stayed in by far! Kevin is beyond accommodating. I would definitely recommend Cabin763 and we will be back soon!

We had a great stay at this classic A frame cabin that has been implacably renovated with a modern twist. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back for another stay when visiting lake Gregory again.
