We loved our time here! Everything was clean and cozy. It was the perfect size for our family. We loved the wrap around deck and beautiful outdoor area. The inside was stocked with everything we needed. I would love to stay here again in the future! Definitely 10 out of 10!

This is our third time at the McCall Cottage. It is always clean and comfortable with great supplies and amenities. We enjoyed our time on the deck watching the deer. Only thing we saw that needs attention was the bar stools are starting to get wobbly and needs some tightening.

Great clean home about 1.2 miles from downtown. The neighborhood pool and tennis courts were a big hit.

Nicely furnished and well supplied kitchen however we were surprised with the hike and number of stairs from available parking to front door. Difficult with luggage or groceries.
We were disappointed to find our rental not cleaned when we arrived and had to call vacasa for service, delaying entry until after 5pm. Grill on deck was filthy and full of ash and requires charcoal which vacasa contract specifically forbids using. Advertised firepit also was filthy and not safe to use.
Most disappointing of all was discovering that the keys cards for pool, whirlpool and gym did not work! This issue was not resolved until 3:30 pm the day prior to our departure.
All fixable issues for a very pretty home but made for a frustrating vacation.

This was our third time at this cabin, and we have enjoyed it each time. The one drawback is having to walk down a set of stairs to the cabin. That notwithstanding, it is well stocked and comfortable, and the owners keep it updated. Needs a little carpet cleaning now but that is to be expected with how popular this spot is. Thanks!

Perfect vacation home for us! Home is off the road, which we liked with children and dogs. Hard to see in the evening as the stairs are not lit. Home was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Kids loved having the loft to themselves. Note there is not air conditioning but didn't get too warm (end of Aug) and fans in each room to keep air flow. Beautiful paths to take walks, easy access to pool (highlight for all of us!), and a quick drive to downtown. Even though this home is very dog friendly, please be aware that there are two neighbors who do not like dogs, at all. Our 2-year-old let out the dogs to go potty, as he does at home, and we leashed them immediately, just steps from porch. We woke up the next morning to an officer issuing us a ticket, without hearing our side of the story. We learned this is a known issue and there is zero empathy towards you if your dog is off leash, even for 30 seconds.

This is a great place to stay. Close to town yet quiet and away from the noise. The property is, however, very close other properties and you cannot drive directly to the property. It requires navigating a serious set of gravel steps. The owner needs to be more clear about this for folk with physical limitations. If you love privacy and solace, this may not be the place for you.
The owner requested removing shoes but the floor was not clean and our socks got quite dirty. The internet was out during our stay but that is not the fault of the owners.
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The only thing lacking was a way to boil water for tea and french press.

The inside was clean, (I do feel the house could have been vacuumed better in the upstairs bedroom.) but the outside deck, table & chairs were another story. It looked like it hadn't been swept or hosed off in a while. We love to sit outside on the deck and have coffee or drinks, and I think the cleaning company forgot about the outside, especially in the summer! The outside space was one of the reasons we picked this property, it was located in a Very quiet neighborhood which was relaxing!

Awesome winter refuge
This adorable cabin was everything we needed for a week-long stay - well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, lots of privacy. The many snow-covered steps down to the front door wouldn't work for everyone, but for 2 kids and a Labrador it was not a problem. We'll be back!

Great Winter Retreat
Cute and cozy. Loved the decor, especially the local artwork. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. to make a few delicious family meal. A fun time away with family!

Thanksgiving Retreat
Cozy cabin for a family gathering during the holiday. Very comfortable and plenty of dishes to prepare a feast. As a family, we completed all the puzzles provided and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. I would stay here again.

My team and and I stayed here while on a business trip in McCall. What a perfect spot to feel away from the hustle and bustle, yet, right around the corner from downtown. House was perfectly appointed, cozy and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Lots of stairs outside and in the property. I should have searched for ADA access for our group. Floor could have been cleaner. But everything else was top notch. Would have been nice to have small bundle of firewood available.

Little Paradise

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was very well stocked with small appliances, and cooking implements; the furniture and beds were very comfortable, and everything was nicely decorated. McCall was cloaked in snow and the surroundings were lovely.

Not satisfied! Heating wasn’t working in some areas and then one overheated had to turn system off
Would NOT stay there again. Upon arrival it was very cold inside. Thermostat set at 50 degrees. Turned them all on but only a few were working but not enough to warm up the place. Called it in after 3 hours and property manager called and said it had happened there before. Her husband gave us some instructions on how to reset it. That worked but the next night we smelled something burning and it was the same one we reset. This was at 10:00pm. We turned everything off afraid that it would burn the place down. We left message for Property manager but never heard back. We left and went home at 11:00pm. Wouldn’t recommend this property. They were aware of the problem but have never rectified it. Poorly managed.
