Welcome to Casa Lana !!
Casa Lana está ubicada en una zona muy tranquila de casas más bonitas en lotes grandes cerca de un callejón sin salida. Si bien no es una comunidad cerrada, tiene esa apariencia, ya que todo está muy bien mantenido. Nuestra casa se encuentra en .28 acres con un muro de privacidad. El exterior de la casa es de estilo adobe y presenta paisajes desérticos (cactus y otro follaje) en el frente y numerosas palmeras pequeñas que rodean una hermosa piscina al aire libre, naranjos, limoneros, palmegranete y otros cactus en la parte posterior que rodea la piscina. Desde el patio trasero con orientación norte, puede disfrutar de impresionantes amaneceres del desierto por la mañana y atardeceres por la noche.
Nos encanta el estilo territorial de Casa Lana con techos altos en toda la casa. La serena y hermosa área de Gold Canyon con maravillosas vistas de las montañas Superstition. La vida silvestre que ocasionalmente ves y escuchas y todas las maravillosas codornices del desierto que son muy divertidas de ver.
La casa en sí es de aproximadamente 2,316 pies cuadrados y fue construida en 1998. Los pisos interiores son principalmente de baldosas con pisos de madera y alfombras en las dos habitaciones libres. El dormitorio principal está alfombrado. El interior de la casa es una decoración envejecida en una mezcla de suroeste y contemporáneo. Una gran puerta de entrada de madera te conduce a una espaciosa sala familiar abierta / comedor / cocina. Confortables sofás y una gran televisión LCD se presentan aquí. Un ventilador de techo mueve el aire muy bien aquí y en todas las habitaciones para incluir el Den. Hay mucha luz ambiental. La guarida para relajarse en la habitación familiar incluye un futón de cuero. Una bañera profunda y una cabina de ducha separada se presentan en la habitación principal con muebles cómodos y una gran televisión LCD. Un gran vestidor también se encuentra aquí. En el mismo ala de la casa hay dos habitaciones separadas con camas queen y bonitos muebles. En definitiva, una casa habitable muy cómoda para estancias cortas o largas. El amplio garaje alberga nuestros dos autos que no son para uso de inquilinos. El estacionamiento para dos autos está disponible fuera de la casa en el camino de entrada. Una sala de lavandería cuenta con LG vertical. Esta es una casa para no fumadores que está completamente amueblada sin necesidad de nada, excepto sus pertenencias personales.

The whole process was great, from being to end, communication was great and we even got to meet Dean! It’s a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood that has awesome Mountain View’s! We really loved the outdoor living area, it’s where we spent the majority of our time! We’re from North Dakota, so that explains why! We were there 2 weeks, the first week one of our daughters, our son-in-law, and 2 grandkids stayed with us, then week two was just my hubby and I! Grandkids loved it, we all did! Looking forward to staying there again! Thank you Dean & Figen for sharing your beautiful home with us, we truly appreciate it!

Problems with the pool heat but owner promptly refunded that cost, The only think that was not as advertised was the third bedroom is not a Queen but rather a double. We love Gold Canyon, the house was great.

This was our second time staying at this property. It is by far our favorite property. We have stayed at another one in the area, but this is our favorite. The house layout works out well, beds and linens are very comfortable, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Loved how the plugs had multiple plugs for usb. The hot tub was very relaxing. The hosts are so welcoming and get back to you right away with any questions. We will definitely be back on our next work trip.

This property is in a great neighborhood. It is quiet, private, spacious, and we felt very safe. The outdoor space is wonderful. Being so close to 60 made it easy to go just about anywhere. Property owner was easy to work with. Great stay!

Great Neighborhood, Peaceful
We had a great time. Dean was very easy to reach when we had questions. Would be helpful to have a book with information about pool, thermostats, TV’s etc. Our only disappointment was the pool we paid to heat did not work first week (Dean refunded us) and the hot tub didn’t work the last week. Enjoyed playing lots of pickleball at a nearby court.

More than expected
The property was beautiful, everything we needed for our stay was there. Plenty of room to stretch out inside and out. Just wish we could of, stayed longer. Thanks Dean and Figen

Communication with owners was good overall. Slight delay upon check-in but things happen, which is how I would normally describe the situation with arriving to a dirty pool. I let the owners know immediately when we checked in on a Saturday afternoon and was advised that a storm had just come through and it would be cleaned by the pool service on Monday but that it should be fine to enjoy for the interim. However, the pool was also very cold as it turned out there was a filtration issue which seemed to not only prevent the pool vac from cleaning but also kept warm water from getting pumped in. After being out all day on Monday and hoping to finally get to enjoy what we hoped would now be a clean pool, it seemed that nobody had ever showed. I let the owner know and they explained that a new filter would be installed on Tuesday. I asked the owner to pass my number to the service provider to know when they would be arriving for privacy sake, but that didn't seem to ever take place. Instead, somebody finally showed up randomly on Wednesday afternoon to address while my wife and I were outside. Then again somebody that addressed themselves as the "new pool cleaner" showed up unannounced on Thursday afternoon. Aside from the pool (which was the main reason for booking), the home was nice and pretty clean aside from a few cobwebs. In 2 of the bathrooms only a half roll of toilet paper was left out, so some additional would have been appreciated. It's clear there is pride of ownership by the owners, but there were many personal items sort of out in the open which kind of makes it feel like you're crashing at somebody else's house instead of on vacation. There are tons of labels everywhere around the house, but perhaps a welcome book of some sort with some basic directions would be better. For example, all the satellite receivers were offline and needed to be rebooted upon our arrival. The outdoor patio cushions had all been stashed away in a pile so we had to place the ones we were able to locate out ourselves. We also could never locate the equipment to play the shuffleboard game on the side of the house. Overall we made the best of everything as this trip was actually our honeymoon. The location is great and the surrounding area really immerses you in the desert vibe. We just couldn't help but feel things weren't living up to the beautiful properties full potential & felt that the owners could have been more apologetic for the rather big inconveniences

Absolutely incredible
We had planned on staying 6 days when we booked, but after arriving, we checked with Dean and we were able to extend our stay another 4 nights. The pool was wonderful. My husband enjoyed the spa. We all enjoyed the deep patio where we could hang out, watch a little tennis and just enjoy each other’s company. The backyard is an oasis complete with shuffleboard and beautiful butterflies everywhere. The house is so comfortable you feel right at home. The beds are very nice and we all enjoyed a good nights sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on each of our visits here. Thank you so much Dean for being a great host.

Wow what a retreat!!!
My husband I had some work to do out in Arizona and we selected this property to stay at for 6 nights. We brought our two senior lab dogs. The property looks even better than the photos! Super clean with ample space. We enjoyed our pool time and super quiet property as it sits on a court. The host responded very quickly and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely be back to this house when we have work out there again. Thanks again to our gracious hosts for allowing us to stay in their home. We highly recommend this home!!

Daughter's wedding
The place was beautiful and perfect location as we were celebrating our daughter's wedding at the Paseo (20 minutes away) and had family and friends at the Best Western and Gold Canyon Golf & spa resort. Both hotels were less than 1 mile away. Backyard was a paradise with a pool and hot tub and multiple seating areas to entertain in. Bird lovers will enjoy all the variety of birds in the backyard. We even had a road runner run along the back wall. Inside the house was super clean and spacious. My only suggestion to the owners would be to leave an instruction sheet either at the house or online for check in & check out. Very pleasant stay would definitely consider coming back again.

Just a perfect stay in Gold Canyon
This is as good a rental as you will see. Heated pool, hot tub on property. So many condo rentals now have pools they limit your use in. Many rentals have pools that aren't heated. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We went on long walks and runs - it is the perfect location - and only 15 minutes from tons of Mesa shopping. Nearby grocery and Walgreens in Gold Canyon. House has comfortable beds, excellent WiFi. Big TV. Beautiful and very large outdoor patio area. Full kitchen and laundry. It was worth every penny.

We loved the home and backyard space to host friends and family when they joined us for part of the time we rented. The hot tub and pool were so nice! Enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood.It was great to be close to hiking and off road trails. Grocery stores were close by and great places to eat as well.

The Perfect Home and Setting
We chose this property in the height of the Covid 19 isolation as a place where we could just be. We've always loved the entire Gold Canyon area and especially this south side area. Heated pool and hot tub. It was perfect. We had to prepare and eat virtually all of our meals there. The home is comfortable inside and out. We are so happy we chose this property and will try to stay there again. We thought the inside was even better than the pictures. The master bedroom, bathroom, and closet is huge. The other bedrooms very ample. The beds were a comfortable foam bed. We don't like hard beds though we usually get them. These were in-between. Not too soft, not hard. You'll get a great night's sleep on these beds. The area is so beautiful for walks. It really was the perfect space.

Perfect Place!
What a great family getaway! This house is beautiful. The home was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The outdoor space is wonderful. Lots of outdoor seating, beautiful pool and hot tub. The neighborhood was very quite and peaceful. Lots of places to walk. Beautiful mountain scenery and great hiking trails. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Just a great experience all around. We will be back again next year!

This property is amazing! If you need a quiet getaway near golf, lakes and hiking this home is perfect! We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Just what we were looking for. It has a large private back yard with pool and hot tub and lovely gathering places. Also, the grill is awesome! The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The owner was attentive and strived to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We highly recommend this rental and would stay again!
