Jack's Island House is the perfect getaway for friends or families! The house is well stocked, clean, and sits right on the water with amazing views all around!
Jack and team communicated exceptionally well, with multiple recommendations and suggestions that enhanced our stay.

Jack's Island House exceeds all expectations you will read about. Well-appointed amenities, tons of chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach towels, dock seating for both Sunrise AND Sunset. Turtles in the morning, fantastic breezes. Jack's communication and Kay's attention to detail make this the perfect destination for those wanting to get away from it all. We had a minivan and the road into the property worked just fine - go slow and navigate holes. Important to note that a massive storm will leave behind some blocked roads so be sure to check weather if something large is predicted. Not a deterrence in the least, just be prepared. Brown's Marina is close by to rent a boat. Forbes Hill Beach was magical (especially on a windy day - it's blocked from wind). Fannie's down the road has amazingly friendly staff and good chicken wings and loaded fries. The view from Blu is Conde Naste PERFECTION! You will not regret this oasis.

We had a terrific week at Jack's Place. Beautiful home on amazing world class setting which really has to be seen to be appreciated. Wonderfully private. Beach literally steps from the house. Dock is a ton of fun. And the view - Perfect. Looks out on water that is beautiful but never rough. House decks wrap around so you can follow the sun, screened or unscreened your choice. Nice kitchen, grill, terrific AC, good showers (indoor and out), comfortable beds and pillows. Easy communication when needed.

Absolutely loved Jack’s house! The dock was our favorite place to be with so many activities for the kids. (ages 6-16) Jack and Cay were very helpful and answered all of our questions promptly. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. We fell in love with Exuma and hope to return to Jack’s house in the future!

Jack’s house has everything you need to have a good time at a beautiful location. The dock and lounge bet were great. We had the best snorkeling of our trip right below the dock and just down the coastline at the blue hole. The road back to the house is as fun as you make it, but nothing to seriously concern yourself with. The new pickleball court and net were great and easy to set up. We played every morning of our stay and used the workout equipment in the gym as well. The property manager was so sweet and got our only concern taken care of within an hour of our message. I’d recommend Jack’s house to anyone coming to the island.

This house was very nice and the location was amazing. Kids loved the pier and the Blue Hole a
Short row away. I loved the expansive bonefish flats just across a 30 yd channel (paddle over in a kayak and wade forever). Location is off the beaten path. Car rental is a must. Owner was very helpful and house caretaker met us at the property when we arrived. Overall a super vacation. Hope to go back soon.

Our whole group had an amazing time at Jack’s house. The location is absolutely wonderful, especially if you like any marine life. We saw turtles, starfish, rays, and boundless fish. The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your time on the island. The host and his crew were very attentive to any questions.

The house is beautiful and just as described. There is a lot of marine life in this area and the sand bar out front is amazing. My kids really enjoyed the water trampoline, kayaks and paddle boards. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The owner and property manager are very helpful if you ever need anything.

Jack’s Island House has all the modern conveniences we expect such as a complete kitchen, laundry pair conveniently located, effective cooling devices, plenty of beach towels, televisions in every room, speaker on screened in porch, and grills. The bonuses were the kayaks, paddle boards, basketball goal, pickle ball court, fire pit on the dock, huge dock with lifts for 2 jet skies, trampoline in the water, and most enjoyed the magnificent turquoise colored shallow water surrounding us. My family agreed that was our favorite vacation spot!

Our family, consisting of 6 adults and 2 grandkids, (3generations) recently completed a weeklong stay at Jack’s. Everyone loved it! The house and grounds worked very well us. The high points include snorkeling around and under the dock, a very well equipped kitchen, dining on the screened in porch every night, an exercise room/gym, very comfortable beds for everyone, the loft for the kids to sleep, and room for us to spread out under one roof. We rented a boat for the week which I would recommend for those interested in exploring the beaches and reefs around Exuma and Stocking Island. We found some great places we would have never has access to without a boat.
We all agreed Jack’s has a comfort level including privacy that seems missing from newer more fancy digs. The manager at Jack’s was very helpful and always at our beck and call. Her son caught some very nice grouper for us for a great dinner one evening. The only restaurants we frequented were on Stocking Island - Chat and Chill and Piece and Plenty for lunches. Chat and Chill was most fun and more affordable too.
Given all the amenities, you really can’t go wrong staying at Jack’s.

We planned this vacation celebrating 60th, 34th, 4th and 6th birthday celebrations. It was our first vacation with all of our grandchildren. It was the perfect property. We had a total of 9 - 6 adults, a 4 and 6 yr old and an 8 month old. The kiddos loved the loft area while my son, his wife, and their infant daughter had privacy in the lower level bedroom. We like to cook, so the kitchen and grill area were well used and fully stocked. We had coffee on the screened in porch every morning, swam (adults and kids loved the rope swing), lounged on the dock, kayaked, used the stand up paddle boards, had fires every evening, rented a boat and explored, swam in the blue hole near by, star gazed, and slept well (beds are very comfortable!). Some of our group went exploring in the area and some were just content to stay put and enjoy the property. To celebrate the birthdays, we had Bubble waffle cones from Bubble Waffes and BBQ (Vaughan came to the property and prepared and served them here). We caught some grouper off the dock and even saw some sea turtles. I can’t say enough kind words about Kay, the property manager. She had our kitchen stocked with food, and checked on us throughout the week to see if we needed anything. Jack, thank you for your prompt communication and for letting us stay at this amazing property.

Loved our stay at Jack’s Island home. The house was better than the pictures portrayed online. Some surprises…? Other reviews mentioned the kitchen was well stocked and they were correct! It had every gadget needed to cook nearly anything you could imagine! The lower ground-level of the house is private. The bed, bath, and den area is not accessible to the main house through the interior. It was perfect for our family and afforded privacy for 2 couples. The upstairs had two beds/2 baths and an adorable loft area that would be a fun spot for kids. The outdoor area was awesome. Sunrise, sunsets, screened porch, fire pit, multiple seating areas, and lounging areas made it hard to leave the house. The house is located in the center of the island. You’re 15 minutes from the “town center” and 30 minutes from the airport. The roads are less than ideal, but luckily, if you prepare, there’s no need to leave your house! The road in to Jack’s is not good. Be sure to follow his VIDEO instructions on how to drive to the house from the main road (not Google map). Correspondence with Jack and Kay was awesome. Enjoy!

The stay was great. We were met and shown around the house, which is very nice and has many amenities just as described in the listing. We were provided a detailed document (PDF) with information including a lot of recommendations for where to shop, where to eat, where to go, and whom to rent or tour with. The location at the end of the neighborhood, at the end of a spit of land, makes it feels very isolated and exclusive. The tiny little private beach and private dock is a nice touch, and there are some services (like tours and rentals that can come/deliver straight to the house). For example, we rented wave runners from Matthew, one of the recommendations in the document I mentioned, and these were delivered to our little private beach, and later picked up again from the same beach. Overall the experience was great. Note that the island has one main road and a lot of unpaved side roads, including the ones that lead to the house. The unpaved roads are...adventurous, and I strongly suggest visitors rent a vehicle capable of dealing with some serious ruts and potholes. We had a minivan because we were a large group, and slow and steady did it, but it would've been better for peace of mind if we'd had an SUV or a Wrangler/Range Rover type vehicle. To us it added to the adventure, though, and overall this was the best house rental we did during our 2-week Caribbean tour!

Second trip to Jack’s beautiful house. Weather was not great so it was wonderful to have the screened in porch and a beautiful, well-appointed kitchen for cooking meals. The house has everything you need plus comfortable beds. Serene, private location but easy access to anything you need. Great dock for star gazing. Even with not so great weather- Exuma is magical.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jack's Island House. It really did feel like we were on our own private island. The view from the front of the house was expansive 180 degree ocean view and it felt like you were on a stilt villa over the ocean or on a ship as there is just water view everywhere. It was so nice to have solitude and feel so private and yet it wasn't secluded in a creepy way - feels very safe. The snorkeling out front of the house right around the private beach and dock was the best we've encountered on all of Exuma (in the 2 trips we've made there now). Lots of fish just hanging out - really clear water. The view from the dock and house of the sunrise and sunset is amazing. The amenities of the dock with lots of seating, rope swing, catamaran net, and water trampoline were great. The gym with dumbbells was great. Lots of space inside and out of the house. There were only 4 of us but you could easily and comfortably fit 12 people. Kay and Jack were very responsive and friendly. Jack is super accommodating host and it's clear they really want their guests to have an enjoyable stay. I was concerned about mushy sand on that side of the island but the sand is great right on the beach at Jack's house. The view is just stunning and we really especially loved that we felt we were on our own private island. Thanks so much Jack and Kay. We will be back.

This home is all-around amazing. We loved every moment there! Kids kept begging to go back and hang out at the house. Swimming is amazing steps from the home. Sunset and sunrise views will leave you amazed! And the host has great communication, as well as the on site host/manager. She is a sweetheart and very kind. I can tell in spots where other guests look to have been rough on the property. I would say if you stay in this home or any other be kind to the property. So others can enjoy it's full beauty too!

Great property, perfect for large family. Well appointed - everything we could want to relax. Jack was wonderful and Kay was so thoughtful and helpful. It’s off the beaten path and gave us the privacy we wanted to unwind (also, still a short drive to town).

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible beach house, and it truly was a dream come true. The location was absolutely perfect – just steps away from the pristine white sand and the crystal-clear blue water.
One of the highlights of our stay was the dock with a rope swing, which provided endless fun for the kids. They loved jumping into the water and bouncing on the floating trampoline. Meanwhile, us moms enjoyed lounging on the bathing net, soaking up the sun and the picturesque surroundings. The chairs on the dock became our favorite spot for sipping morning coffee while watching the tide go by.
The selection of kayaks and paddle boards kept us all entertained, allowing us to venture out to the sandbar right in front of the house during low tide, which was a unique and unforgettable experience. And let's not forget the stunning sunsets! The property is perfectly situated to provide breathtaking sunset views each and every night.
The bedrooms were spacious, well-appointed, and had plenty of storage space, with the added luxury of attached bathrooms. The loft was ideal for our teenagers, providing them a comfortable and private space to unwind. The living room featured a large sectional, perfect for cozy evening movie nights.
The kitchen was a delight for any cooking enthusiast, fully stocked with all the gadgets and equipment needed to make meal preparation effortless. The owners were exceptional in their communication throughout!

Our stay at Jacks Island house was absolutely wonderful!! We were a group of 3 couples from S.C. Everything at Jacks is just as described. We loved floating in the water & sitting on the dock in the evening. Relaxation at its finest and just what we all needed. We visited Chat N Chill on Sunday for the pig roast and had a great time. Went on the day boat tour with Sugar Adventures (he is our favorite) and visited the swimming pigs, iguanas, sharks, Thunderball Grotto, had conch salad at a beautiful sandbar and had lots of laughs and fun! I can’t think of anything I would add to Jacks house except a TV in the room to the right on the main floor. The beds were super comfy and the rooms/bathrooms were perfect. A GREAT time was had by all!! Thanks Jack!

We enjoyed our stay at Jack’s Island House. He was a great host and sent a lot of great recommendations on the island. Everything from rental cars, grocery stores, restaurants, and ideas for sight seeing. The house manager and crew were great checking on us after a storm and very responsive when some minor maintenance was required in the house. We spent the majority of our time in the water, on the trampoline, playing on the rope swing or lounging on the net over the water. This house has the best dock around and was just what we needed to entertain adults and kids. The screened porch was great at night for playing games and keeping the bugs away. The house was also well stocked with water and cooking supplies. This is the best rental we have ever stayed at and would highly recommend to anyone looking to vacation in the Exumas!

Our group of 8 included 4 teens and 4 adults and all of us equally loved our stay! Sitting on the dock and looking at the ocean is like sitting on your own island. It is so private and absolutely stunning. The little area in front of the house was like having a beach to yourself. The water trampoline, kayaks and SUPs were fantastic as we could enjoy all of these without having to rent or leave the property. The kitchen had all the tools and gadgets for cooking fabulous dinners at home. There were tons of games at the house to be enjoyed. The property manager was beyond accommodating and promptly answered any questions we might have about things to do in the area. Every person in our group said it was the best vacation they ever have had and we have travelled to many nice places before so this says a lot. One of my favorite parts was seeing my husband and my friend’s husband having such a great time in the water there that they looked like 12 year old boys. We all came home thoroughly relaxed and missing our special time there. We all cannot wait to visit again as soon as we can!

Jack's place was as described. There was something for all in our family to do. We enjoyed the privacy, great kitchen, the quiet and beautful waters and so much more. Jack provided very helpful information about things to do and places to visit. He was also very responsive. We are already talking about when to return.

We stayed at Jack's island house for 8 night with another family, in all we had 5 kids there ages 5-11. It was an amazing experience and Jack made sure our vacation was well looked after, with many solid recommendations! We had a small hiccup when checking in - there was a mix-up on the date, so the house was not quite ready for us, but Jack quickly did everything possible to make it right, and ensure we did not lose a second of our vacation. The dock was perfect for hanging out by the water, and the rope swing was so much fun. The kids were so happy to spend afternoons jumping into the water and hanging out on the dock. We all enjoyed the kayaking and SUPs that were provided and really enjoyed the sandbar that is just across the water. The small beach was fun for the little ones to plan and snorkel! Jack thought of everything - filtered water, beach towels and toys, extra beach chairs, a cooler for us to use, and a very clean and comfortable house. We loved enjoying dinner on the screened in porch after cooking in that amazing kitchen and the nice Weber grill out back. Thanks for helping us to have an unforgettable vacation, Jack! We made the right choice to stay here and would gladly go again! It was worth it!

The pictures you see online are what you are getting when you rent from Jack. The house was the perfect space for our two families.
The interior was beautiful! The views from the family room our what you dream about. Crystal blue water as far as your eyes can see. The kitchen was equipped with everything. The only downside was not having a dishwasher. Definitely didn’t plan on washing so many dishes for 9 people on vacation but we managed:)
The outdoor living was the best. Our kids had a ball on all the toys that were provided along with snorkeling and kayaking. Bug spray is a must in the morning and night.
We rented a boat and had it at the house for part of the week and I have to say some of the prettiest beaches are on that side of the island! And no one around.

Jacks House was perfect for our group of 10! We had 2 families with 3 kids each. Everything was clean , up to date , and tons to do! The prettiest water , we loved taking paddle boards across the water at low tide. jack was so easy to work with and was super responsive . Cay did a great job helping us with groceries before our arrival . A great experience overall!

I wanted to wait a few days after returning from Jack's Island House to review our stay to see if I was just in some sort of amazing trance, because things were just that good! After realty of returning back to our normal schedules has set back in and fond memories of our stay is what we have, I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations we have been on and it is all thanks to Jack and Cay! The owner Jack is with you every step of the way from the moment you book (and even for all questions beforehand)..Cay the house manager is pure joy. She met us at the house and knew how exhausted we were from a long night/day of travel. She went above and beyond to make our days comfortable and relaxing. The house has everything you need and more, kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, towels, a chefs dream kitchen (which highly recommend having a chef come in and make a dinner or two) with every gadget and the list goes on and on. The living room couch is so great we came home and ordered the same for our house, as we all loved it. Jacks Island House is in a perfect location, close enough to all the essentials but far enough to make you feel you are all by yourself for totally unplugging from the day to day. If you do need to be "plugged in" the WIFI works amazing throughout the home. Jacks house is everything he advertises and more. We had a few hiccups but Jack had the answer or corrections made immediately.
Our daughter had a medical emergency in 2018 that changed our lives forever and gave her a life long diagnosis of epilepsy. We did not realize that we have been holding our breath so hard until we were able to exhale during our stay. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Jack and Cay!

Our time at Jack’s island house was magical. The property itself is perfect. My children loved jumping on the water trampoline, kayaking to the sand bar, playing basketball and using the private beach to throw a football. I loved watching the turtles swim by, the colorful sunrises and sunsets and the peace, quiet and privacy the home offers.
Jack and Cay could not be more responsive. We will absolutely be coming back.

It was the perfect location for adults to unwind and appreciate the spectacular views while the children could explore, fish, kayak, and spear fish with freedom but still in sight. The sandbar and blue hole for snorkeling and spear fishing within kayak distance were a plus. Thank you for an unforgettable trip for all ages!

Great stay! The dock was wonderful, the house was perfect. Clean and everything you need to cook. We sat on dock as sharks, stung rays and turtles swam by it was amazing.
We used the kayaks and paddle boards everyday. We thought we would miss having a pool but our own little beach was more than enough. We rented a boat and jet ski and they brought them right to our house. Jack and Kay were great and we used Charlene as our concierge, she planned everything for us.
Nickson brought our jet ski and also gave us a private tour of the pigs, starfish and iguanas and a beautiful beach with a blow hole and another with the greatest views from the top.
The house was perfect for our family of 4. Comfy beds and huge screened in porch where we spent a lot of time. Just be prepared the roads leading in are not great.
Overall a 5 star stay!

Awesome location and accomodations for small group looking to get away to their own little piece of Paradise. House has everything you'll need to kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet and a short drive into town if you think you are missing people.

We had a wonderful stay at Jack's Island House. The property is just as described and the house is stocked with everything you could possibly need or want while away from home. We've been coming to Exuma for many years now and the location of Jack's is absolutely perfect! Fabulous sunrise and sunset views, sand bar, dock and easy access for kayaking. Both Jack and Kay were great and very responsive. We are missing the amazing Exuma blues already!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Jack's Island House in January and this was absolutely the best vacation we've had. The house is immaculate! The location is perfect and every detail was perfect. The dock overlooking the water and sandbar was our favorite place to spend the day just relaxing and having fun. Jack and Cay were very responsive to answer any question we had and offer the "must check out spots" on the island. I can't wait to visit again! We just got back from Jack's and everything was exactly like the reviews suggested. Incredible views of sunrise/sunset, secluded location. We spent most of the time at the house and on the dock. The house was perfect, it had an awesome kitchen that we used the entire time we were there. When the breeze goes away, be ready for the bugs, but as long as you have some spray, you'll be good. We had a great breeze for most of the trip but a few nights were calm and the bugs would eat you up. Luckily, Jack built a screened in porch that was perfect for being outside and not having to worry about getting bit up.
One thing that I can't say enough about was how easy Jack made it for the stay. He was in contact with us from the start and answered any questions we had. Can't recommend this place enough!

We had a fabulous time at Jacks Island house. It's a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Jack went above and beyond to accommodate us both at the house and by giving us information on the island's activities, grocery shopping and restaurants. We would definitely visit again.

The property was amazing, exceeding expectations. Exceptionally well appointed. 3 types of coffee makers, every appliance pot and pan you can imagine. Clean, beautiful room with amazing views of both sun rise and sun set. We were blown away at the care and attention put into the house. Jack , the owner, was very responsive to every question and need. I can not wait to go back and I assure anyone who rents this property, you will not be disappointed.
