The Hillside Lodge is so great! Clean and the owners are so helpful. The layout and rooms were just perfect - it was our family of 9 and we fit comfortably and had the best time! The outside area made the best retreat after hiking all day!

Beautiful home that was well stocked with needed kitchen items. Wonderful for large families to sit together enjoying meals and playing games! Living room was another warm gathering location! Weather did not cooperate for outdoor entertaining but it was yet another welcoming option. Would highly recommend this home!

We had a great time on our weekend getaway. We had 7 adults and we enjoyed the table space to play games. We also really enjoyed the outdoor space. We used the hot tub, fire pit and the green space around the house for a bucket golf tournament over the weekend.

This was the perfect getaway cabin rental for our large family. Not only was the hostess, extremely accommodating, the place was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, the beds were incredible, everything was as it looked in the pictures. It was better than we ever hoped for! The family room is perfect for entertaining or for large groups, and the large dining room table was perfect not only for eating, but for playing board games, and doing crafts. The hiking trails were incredible and it was a beautiful, beautiful area. We definitely would go back there again .

Had a great weekend with friends. Everything was clean and well communicated with the operation of the facilities. We got a snowfall the night we arrived and the owner texted and messaged the next morning that someone would be on property to clear the snow on the steep driveway and walking paths around the cabin. Location is decently close to the area attractions while still being secluded. Would definitiely recommend!

We had a wonderful Christmas with our children and grandchildren in this beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for everyone. We loved the large family room, kitchen and large dining room and extra large dining table. Beautiful area and easy to find and close to many things. Was perfect for little ones.

This property is perfect for our yearly retreat. The dinning table is our hub with eating, games, crafting and lots of laughs.
The beds are comfortable and everyone has their own space to sleep.
We love it so much we booked again for next year.

House is just as described. Weather prevented us from using outdoor space but it looks very inviting. Loved the layout of the house. Driveway very narrow but doable.

It was super accommodating. Loved the backyard with hot tub and fire pit. So close to our activities we had planned for the weekend. Looking forward to making this a yearly trip

This cabin was perfect for our family reunion. Loved that it offered 4 separate bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, so no one had to sleep on a pull out sofa or twin. Cabin was super clean and had plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Could use brighter lights over kitchen counter space, and a dimmer switch for dining room, but otherwise we had a great stay. Would highly recommend to others.

Perfect place for large groups! has plenty of bedding and seating for 12 people. Very nice cabin and has everything you would need. Communication with Melanie was very quick and she always answered any of my questions!

What a great place to stay! Pictures describe the place accurately and there is a large kitchen if you have a big group like us. The dining room with 10 chairs was perfect for family dinners. The fire pit and the hot tub were a welcomed treat.

Cabin was huge and so nice and clean. Hot tub felt amazing after a day of hiking. Fire pit is huge and perfect for gathering around. The pictures do not do this place justice! Would definitely stay here nice time in the area.

This property was great, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy being with family. The location was the perfect spot to enjoy all that the area has to offer within a short drive. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds, would stay again in a heartbeat!

Really great cabin, nice that the fire area is on concrete and not dirt. Ideal for children. Huge living room with space for everyone. Very comfortable stay and a great location. We would stay here again.

My Girl Scout troop spent 2 nights at the cabin and had wonderful time! The cabin is gorgeous and we had plenty of room to spread out. We were able to put girls on air mattresses in the living room, which was huge! The adults slept soundly in the comfortable beds that had the nicest sheets. The kitchen offered everything you would need to make a meal and the hot tub was a nice ending to a day of hiking. We will defiantly be back, thank you for hosting us!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. We had seven kids ages 7 to 13 and there was plenty of space for them and for adults. Everything was very clean and there was a wonderful outside space to utilize. Everything was just how it was stated in the description. Plenty of nice items in a fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals in. Close location to many of the trails!!

The property was perfect for our quick get away. 9 of us stayed comfortably and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit with plenty of room for relaxing and dining together. Kitchen was well stocked to allow us to cook our meals.

Pictures online do not do this cabin justice at all. The cabin was immaculately clean, beautiful and they had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The great room was by far our group’s favorite place to hang out all weekend. The host is super informative and responsive. Definitely will go back!

The living room and couch was amazing for gathering. The table was more than adequate for all the meals and crafting we did during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the lodge was clean. The outside amenities were perfect!

The cabin was beautiful. The only issue we had was ants in the kitchen. We threw food away after the first day because of the ants. We sprayed for ants and bought ant traps but it did not help. But other than that we had an amazing time.

Beautiful cabin ,well maintained.. pictures don’t do the place justice. Melanie was very sweet and answered all questions. We will definitely return. This cabin is close to everything you want to see and go to. Grandkids and my kids want to return. Highly recommend cabin. This has to be the best vacation we have done as a family. We hiked,rented a boat, zip lined. We wanted to stay and extra day but cabin was booked

This rental exceeded our expectations. The spacious, clean private cabin was absolutely beautiful. The outdoor area was wonderful with extra special comfort and lovely special touches like flowers and hanging ferns. My group all had a relaxing, great time. Also convenient to shopping and dining out if desired.

Family Vacation
We had a wonderful time at your rental property. Very centrally located to all the sites we were interested in seeing and doing. The amenities were excellent and enjoyed my the whole family. We really appreciated that this was a pet friendly home. Thanks again, we made many new family memories!

Perfect family getaway!
This cabin was an absolute dream! The pictures do not do it justice…it was so spacious and had so many different gathering areas inside and out. The cabin was the cleanest any of us had ever experienced, the kitchen had everything you could ever need, the beds were all very comfortable, and the gathering areas were all well taken care of and comfortable. Melanie was great with communication and had a great booklet of detailed info of everything in the cabin. Our family gathering had 4 cousins ages 6-11, two couples, and a grandma, and we all enjoyed our experience. We had a great time hiking in the area, mountain biking, and just relaxing around the cabin with the hot tub, fire pit, movies, and more. Thank you for an amazing family gathering!

Beautiful property
Perfect place to stay for our two families with kids ranging from age 6 to 12. It was such a great location to explore Hocking Hills. The stormy weather tried to get in the way of a great time but we didn’t let it! We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and the pictures didn’t do justice to the size of the kitchen, dining room and family room. Really wonderful!

Hillside Lodge did not disappoint!
We enjoyed our time at Hillside Lodge. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy their time. We loved that the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. We did not have to bring anything from home as we have had to do in the past. The firepit area was beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us to sit and enjoy. It was wonderful to not have to bring our own chairs. The location allowed us to be close to many trails, activities, restaurants, and stores. We enjoyed our time and will definitely return.

Awesome stay
Teachers on a Girl’s trip! We had a great time together celebrating the end of the school year! The house was perfect for our group! The large gathering room was the best! We only suggest a bathroom closer to this space!! We will definitely keep this property in our saved files for future trips! Thanks
