Nice and quiet place. Everything needed was there and available. Short walk from train station to go wherever you want. Veronica is a great host.

We had several issues that were not Veronica’s problems. We had to cancel our stay because of very heavy traffic and long delays on our way to New York. When we arrived the following morning there had been an accident in Veronica’s neighborhood which took out all the electricity for hours. We had a wedding to attend that afternoon so had to find a hotel as the b&b had no power Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay and were given a refund. Veronica’s place is lovely and had things turned out differently we would have enjoyed staying there. .

Cozy studio with private bathroom and outside deck, on second floor walk up. Very quiet and clean. Host is wonderful. Will be back if in the area.

Although the room is an annexe to Veronica's house, it does not feel like it. It's super private with its balcony, the room is large and it has everything you need. It's adorable, with nice decorations and I instantly felt at home. I was by myself but I think it's also perfect for a couple and I'd love to stay there with my boyfriend next time! I was going to the office in Woodmere every morning - it was super handy with the Uber and there was no traffic. I absolutely loved waking up to the calmness and hearing the birds. Highly recommend!

Thank you Veronica for a nice stay. Everything was prepared, the conditions were very good. Peace and quiet. That's what we wanted. After the loud sounds of New York, you could rest in the evening and regenerate before the next day. We hope to come back again :)

My stay at Veronica’s place was absolutely wonderful. Better than the pictures,, smelled wonderful, was warm and cozy, quiet and safe neighborhood. I goofed on my checkout time and the host was gracious enough to accommodate my late checkout time,, so very grateful!! I would 100 percent stay here again.

Was in town for a funeral in the Valley Stream area. Perfect little place for one person. If you're super tall, might be less perfect, as the ceiling is sloped on one side of the bed.
I was there when it snowed. The steps, sidewalk, and driveway were all cleared and salted, so no issues with access.
Prompt communication made it easy.

Awesome little place! Perfect for our stay - super close to the Long Island Railroad to get us to Brooklyn and Manhattan. Quiet, safe neighborhood, easy parking. Just what I was hoping for!

This property was great, the location was fantastic, it's an adorable little apartment and very clean. The property manager was wonderful, she always replied within 30 minutes and answered all my questions. I was a little nervous after I booked, I saw the reviews for VRBO were terrible, but this stay was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend this property for your trip to NY.

Host is terrific, really responsive. The place is small, and the bed is under the dormer, which can be a challenge if you are tall, but we really enjoyed staying here. The place is clean and everything works. 15-20 minute walk to the LIRR.

Pleasant Surprise! I always book at hotels but took a chance and I’m glad I did. This property isn’t the Ritz but it’s good enough. Simple, clean, quiet and in a decent area. The owner was also available to give assistance when needed.
I’ll definitely recommend this property and stay again.

My wife and I were in Long Island for a wedding and we needed a little place to stay. We were spending most of our time out doing things, but this little place was a great place to relax and recharge at the end of the day. We loved the area, Valley Stream is a cute little place on Long Island. We used public transport for everything and it was great to be within walking distance of the Valley Stream LIRR station (about 15-20 minute walk).
When you first enter the back yard of the property it was like a little oasis, there was a nice balcony and comfy chairs outside to sit. The neighborhood was very quiet and cute, only heard the sound of airplanes taking off or landing at JFK. The bed was super comfy, there is a nice tv to watch some streaming services. The little AC unit cooled the room down very quickly. The bathroom was nice, the shower has a bench, which is awesome. Overall we loved our stay.

It was a easy check in. Neighborhood is quiet. Great location. The owner is sweet. The only problem I had was there is a door connected to your room that leads to the whole house. You can hear the kids so no real privacy. If you can hear them. They can definitely hear you. But overall I loved my stay and would stay again.

The perfect site for my weekend stay. I was visiting my son who goes to college locally. Loved the deck. Great location. Host was available when needed but I was able to be completely private and independent. Highly recommend

I am very happy that I found this listing! I would go as far as to say the pictures don't do it enough justice. Despite not using it ourselves, it was very cold while we were there, the outdoor area is very spacious and nice. You're located about a 15-16 minutes walk away from the LIRR into the city which we walked and rode everyday. Not once did we worry about our car or stuff as the neighborhood was fantastic as I mentioned earlier. All in all, on my future travels to New York I will be staying here!

Cozy, nicely appointed one bedroom that's a short walk to the LIRR and Green Acres Mall, with restaurants on the way. Great private entrance and courtyard. Nice neighborhood. Much better than a hotel. They thought of everything.
