Esta cabaña es ideal para una escapada de fin de semana de pescadores en Toledo Bend. Una vez que formaron parte de la querida y altamente calificada Shady Oak Lodge, los pescadores y las familias han venido durante años para disfrutar de esta cabaña de troncos rústica ubicada entre árboles en una cala tranquila. Hoy, está recién pintado con un techo nuevo. La rampa para botes es compartida por las 7 cabañas originales Shady Oak Lodge y está disponible para su uso. La ubicación es extremadamente conveniente ya que estamos en Pilcher Road en Lanan Bay, que está a minutos de Toledo Town and Tackle, supermercados, restaurantes y bancos.
Este encantador bungalow de pesca tiene capacidad para 5! Esta cabaña de pino nudoso con techos abovedados no solo es pintoresca y está bien amueblada, sino que tiene todo lo que necesita para un fin de semana de pesca. Cuenta con una cocina totalmente equipada, nevera y baño con bañera / ducha. Hay una cama completa en el área abierta con una mesa de comedor y sillón reclinable. Y los techos abovedados permiten tanto una cama queen como una cama doble en los lofts opuestos de la cabina. La cocina tiene todo lo que necesita: utensilios necesarios, estufa / horno, microondas, excepto un lavavajillas.
Para los pescadores, hay estacionamiento para su bote y enchufes al aire libre para cargarlo. También tenemos un corral grande para perros. Sin embargo, no se permiten mascotas en la cabina. Y para los niños, hay un gran parque infantil con varios columpios y una caja de arena. ¡A tus hijos les encantará explorar los jardines!

Exactly as advertised! Very quiet and secure area! Will definitely book again! Clean with all the right amenities! Boat ramp is pretty steep but ok for 4x4 truck with experienced launcher! The huge oaks draped in moss add to the serenity of the stay! For sure a hidden gem on Toledo Bend!

I want this review to be helpful to the next person who rents this cabin. I was a little disappointed. This was our first stay at Toledo Bend so we didn't know what to look for in a cabin. Pictures can be very deceiving. This cabin is veeeeeery tiny! It's a tight spot for just 2 people and a dog. It worked though for our first weekend. If you were to have more than 2 people, you would have no where to put your stuff. We literally had a walkway from the door to the kitchen area. The hot water in the shower literally lasted 3 minutes so take your showers fast and wait a while for the next person so they can have hot water. 😉 this cabin is not "on the lake" unless you have a boat. We did not have a boat so we had to fish off the boat ramp in the channel that came close to the cabin.. It was a very small area to fish in with lots of debre in the water to get hooked on. You couldn't really walk around the fishing area because everything around you was private property. We finally found an area about 10 min away that wouldn't make us pay to fish, but when we went there we kept getting hooked up on the rocks so we just gave up there too. Although our first weekend to Toledo bend didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped, it was still a great weekend and we did catch some fish and had a relaxing time! We will definitely be back to Toledo Bend but for us, we will need something a little bit bigger and a bigger area to fish.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and it was the perfect little cabin for us. So cozy and perfect! Was nice to have the boat launch right by the cabin, would recommend this cabin to all my family and friends. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed ourselves and our stay in Cabin 3. The cabin was very cozy and clean,and a very convenient drive to restaurants. Highly recommend,the Fisherman’s Grille. We had a great time.
