Breakfast was scrumptious, and the service was excellent. The room was modern and clean. Love the nice fragrance of the amenities.

Road noise. Hotel is located on top of a slope and the motorcycle would Rev up the hills very frequently ...making deliveries nearby?

Everything from the history to the design but especially our hosts Alexandra and Manuel and their staff Tina and Rupi. We felt completely at home.

Alexandra and Manuel have created a welcoming, comfortable and luxurious experience at Casa Al Sole. Their attention to detail is reflected in everything from the design of the lobby, dining and guest rooms to the food preparation and presentation. They are the kindest and most generous couple happy to spend time with you sharing information on activities and hikes in the area. I can't say enough wonderful things about them and their hotel... and don't miss the breakfast!

Street noise was a little bit of an issue because we like to keep our windows open at night, but they provided a fan so we could close the window/door for a better sleep.

Fabulous breakfast

The hosts and staff were very kind and hospitable. Alexandra is a trekking guide so she gave excellent advice on trails to hike. The breakfast was phenomenal - local foods with a gourmet flair. Everything was top notch.

There wasn't a thing I didn't like. They set the bar very high for the first stop on my tour of the Dolomites.

Casa Al Sole made our stay at the Dolomites so special! Alexandra and Manuel make you feel like you are staying at your own home. Every little detail is thought of from breakfast to post hike beverages! They both have great knowledge of the area and are happy to share this with guests. Was sad to leave and would be back in a heartbeat!

Everything was perfect. All the staff is very kind and constantly do everything to make you feel at home. The breakfast was gorgeous. I strongly recommend this hotel.

From the moment you arrive at Casa al Sole you realise you are staying somewhere special. Alexandra and Manuel make you so welcome. Their attention to the details of the amazing breakfasts, the comfort of the bedrooms, the style of the communal areas of this lovely, recently renovated, old family home are part of the reason, but their enthusiasm for us to experience the best of the Dolomites was the cherry on the cake. Advice on hiking trails, best locations for lunch stops etc. are invaluable.

It's close to the cable cars, providing great options for hiking spots. The hosts were very helpful, giving us tips for the best routs and local's opinion about different hikes. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had, it gave us great energy for hiking throughout the day.

Good position near the town centre and close to both lifts. Excellent owners who were friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely varied breakfast with table service.

With only a curtain separating the bedroom to bathroom, a sliding door would be better. also some storage for clothes.

Lovely family hotel with attention to every sigle guest. Very stylish and cosy. Location is great, 7 min by foot to the main Seceda cable car. Old town is just around the corner. Breakfast is tasty and very cute. We had a reservation for a small room with a balcony, this kind of room is small but everything is cleverly designed so its still comfortable. Bed and sheets are super comfy. Shower is also just great. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Only minus - no bathroom door, only curtain in a small room. Thus would choose a bigger room next time (with a bathroom door).

We loved our time at Casa al Sole. The room was beautiful and spacious, the location is excellent, only 5 min walk to center of Ortisei or the ski lifts. The breakfast beats any hotel breakfast we had before. Alex and Manuel really took care to make it a personal experience. We would love to visit again and highly recommend to couples or families.

Everything! Alex and Manuel are the perfect hosts and really are the heart of Casa Al Sole. We haven't stopped thinking about this hotel since we left and are planning another trip back next year. This is just how great it was. Our highlights were the delicious breakfast which changed every day including the hand written names so you knew which table to sit at. The extensive knowledge of the mountains from Alex who helped plan our hikes each day. The organic wine list, hot monsoon showers, comfortable beds. The list really goes on and on. It's on my list as one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and we have stayed in some pretty fantastic hotels.
