Great location close to the bus station & the entertainment district. Danilo is a very friendly & welcoming host. Nice cosy atmosphere at this hostel.

Danilo was the best!!!!! He went above and beyond to help us with literally everything! The hostel is clean and it has a really good hairdryer! I loved that finally I could dry my hair after washing it :D Wifi works perfectly, there is a cute garden in the house. There were a couple of other guests in the hostel and Danilo made sure we are all divided between the 3 rooms, thanks to this me and my friend had basically a private room :) This was a very kind act, as he could just put all of us guests in one room - less cleaning for the hostel.

The room faces a street, so it is really noisy all the time, including the night. We had earplugs, so that helped us to sleep. Room number 3 is the one that faces the garden, during booking you might ask for a bed there ;)

Cool host who will help with all the problems of tourists. The hostel has everything you need.

The only positive thing about the property was its location, it was near the bus station and was very convenient if you’re staying in Niksic for a quick stop.

The property had self-check-in, which in a way made it convenient but on the contrary, no one is there to collect your payment (since they don’t accept credit cards, which was big red flag in the first place) and you’d have to organize time and place for the owners or whoever was in charge to meet you. For the price you pay, you also have to put your own bed sheets and pillow and duvet cases. I’ve never stayed in a hostel where it was also “self service” when it comes to sheets but still pay for a full high price. And for a small town in Montenegro, they truly overcharge guests even in the off season. The owner tried to meet up twice to collect the payment but was always changing her mind, which was very inconvenient for travelers who would want to enjoy their holiday. In the end, they asked to leave the money in the Mailbox. I had to leave early to catch the 5am bus and forgotten to leave the payment, we communicated everything through the Booking messaging platform and I’ve asked if sending the payment through online bank payment is possible, to no avail. The owner became very hostile and threatening, and also accusing me of running away of their money. In the end, payment was made through a local bank transfer. I’ve been traveling for the last seven years and this was the WORST booking experience I’ve ever had. To the owners of this horrible hostel, I hope you learn to practice providing customer service to your guests if you want to survive in this industry.
