The restaurant's menu was nicely varied, the food very well presented, and most of all, it was delicious.

Well positioned & convenient for the wedding we were attending. We were able to collect keys/ check in before going to the wedding. Simple but plentiful breakfast.

The hot tap in our room was faulty.

The manager and the lady who did the breakfasts were amazing - so kind and welcoming. I felt very relaxed and at home. Although the facilities are a bit old and tired, my room was spotless. The continental breakfast was nice, with lots of options. I enjoyed a drink in the bar in the evenings.

Nothing really - it wasn't 5 star luxury, but great value. I was a bit worried about the noise from the bar, but it was all shut down in good time. I enjoyed the music playlist and the camaraderie of the other guests.

Loud humming noise all night from downstairs as was staying over the top of the bar area. Had to put earplugs in.

It was available, close to the show ground and had parking.

The accommodation is very austere. While it was adequate for my purpose and clean. The furnishings and shower were of poor quality. The wardrobe door would not close and the shower head attachment was broken from the wall. The restaurant did not serve food on my first nights stay ( I used the pub next door). The bread was mouldy at breakfast. It was very expensive over £110 per night without breakfast.

The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable.

I arrived at approx 4:30 pm, a little early for check-in but had no problem to wait for 5:00 pm check-in. On arrival I found the place completely locked up, no lights on inside, only in the car park, and there were no staff onsite,. staff arrived on site about 4:50 pm. Was advised on check-in that they are short f staff, have no Chef so there was no food available even though advertised. Although Breakfast was included, there was no Breakfast for me they did not start serving Breakfast until after 9:00 am and I needed to leave before then.

Had a really old feel to the accommodation and the heating was incredibly hot. You couldn't turn it down. Too hot to sleep properly. The shower was minimal flow and either boiling or freezing so couldn't use.

The room was falling apart a bit - toilet roll holder/ curtain holders/ shower door. It seemed strange that there didn't appear to be any other guests. There was no menu for the food in the evening.

The room was large, bed was comfy and the room was warm. There was a bit of road noise but it was not excessive and didnt bother us.

Staff were all friendly and helpful and tried to sort out issues with heating promptly. Moving my parents to a suite when this wasn't possible. They even served breakfast early for us. Beds comfortable.

Food in the evening very poor. Chef doesn't work on a Monday so the kitchen should be closed and this should be put on booking. Com. As the food we were offered was poor quality, poorly presented and over priced for what it was. Small double really only suitable for a single person.

Breakfast was late opening on the Saturday it was around 8.05 and Sunday around 8:15/20 which means nothing had heated up so took a long time to make even toast or coffee (when your on a right time frame that frustrating) the continental breakfast wasn’t a great choice as the pastries had clearly been out all night which is a shame as the evening meals where lovely

Good location,free parking, room was a good size for family, tea and coffee making facilities and a bath and shower. Comfy beds and clean and tidy.

Wifi didn't reach our room unfortunately, breakfast was a bit basic, quite a busy road which was noisy. If compared to a Premier Inn with their room and breakfast the cost was a bit steep. The restaurant wasn't serving food.

Bar very quiet with varied openings times when asked staff but very pleasant bar staff very chatty definitely 5 stars Toilet in bathroom had toilet paper in not been flushed or checked before we was given keys ?? Apart from that room small but for an overnight stay wouldn’t need any more

I stayed in the budget single room for one night and found it to be extremely comfortable for my needs. The room size may not be as big as some of the others, but..., hey ! Are you really that fussy..?? The bed was a small double, so a good size with very cosy bedding.. The room was at the back of the accommodation, so didn't pick up the noise of the traffic along the A37, so a big bonus there. It had a great shower, with good-sized towels. All in all , I was very pleased with the room. Extremely friendly staff, a lovely bar to enjoy a drink in, with a bowl of delicious homemade soup for my evening meal. A good continental breakfast, plenty to choose from. Fried breakfast was available at an added cost, but honestly, more than enough food was provided.

The only thing I enjoyed was checking out & heading home!!!

Upon arrival we were allocated room 6, however upon entering the room it was obvious by the stink that someone had previously been smoking in there. Fortunately we were able to be moved to room 12... a much more spacious room - With a much smaller TV at the far end of the room!!! The room suffered from a lack of cleanliness throughout, mainly in the ensuite where there was mould & someone's hair still left in the shower. I then requested a gin & tonic from the bar, only for the barman to fill the glass with soda water from the spritzer, insisting that it was tonic..... We then went out to meet up with some old friends & then after a great night we returned back to the hotel at 10.30pm with the hope of grabbing a couple of drinks before last orders.... Only to find that the bar was shut... On a Saturday night!!! So we then went to bed listening to the HGV lorries trundle past the window all night.... The room was cold with two exterior walls & not once did the heating come on, even though the radiators were turned up to maximum. The next day I hoped that the hotel would redeem itself with breakfast..... At £95 for the night, I was looking forward to a great start to the day.... However my hopes were slashed once again as we were informed that only a continental breakfast was available..... This consisted of tinned, sliced ham complete with lashings of gelatine & fat, processed cheese, very stale mini croissants & still frozen & stuck together Tesco medium sliced bread.... Needless to say we didn't eat much..... This must be one of the ....... Nope THE worst place that I've ever had the misfortune to stay in.
