We loved everything about this place. Private and quiet, yet close to the beach, cute towns and great restaurants. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub every day, and everything you would possibly need for a great stay. Very responsive host.

A delightful time was had by all at the Cherry Beach Pool House. Located in a quiet neighborhood a couple of blocks from a gorgeous beach. Our biggest decision was the beach or the lovely pool. The house is comfortable and clean. Mary, our host, is outstanding! I can't say enough how helpful she was. We appreciated and enjoyed the yummy treats. The house has everything you’d want or need, especially a fully stocked kitchen. I highly recommend Cherry Beach Pool House.

Cherry Beach is one our favorites each year. It is an easy 1/2 mile walk from the house. (Parking lot is now $15 per day) The pool was enjoyed every day! Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need and more (excluding groceries). Mary was quick to respond whenever questions arose. We hope to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful week! The property is tucked away for privacy, but close to the beach, restaurants and short drive to New Buffalo. The house itself has a great layout - modern, but cozy. We enjoyed the s’mores and fire pit with friends who live in the area. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub and appreciated the pool toys and cleaning twice a week. The rooms and beds were comfortable and overall the accommodations were great. Thanks for fantastic week!

Nice, open and airy. Beautiful backyard w/pool and plenty of seating area around. Kitchen nicely stocked w/hardware and cooking tools. The seating was a bit uncomfortable especially in family room area...couches gave no support. Would have been nice if there were more hooks around (bedrooms) for hanging items.

This vacation home is one of the best we've stayed in. The owner has included everything you could possibly need during your visit. House sits on a lovely wooded lot with a private backyard with pool, hot tub and fire pit.
Interior of home is beautiful and extremely clean. No complaints, we had a wonderful vacation!

A lovely stay at a lovely home. Spent the week with my husband and dog while exploring the area. Home is located close to several great restaurants and shopping. Cherry Beach is a very close walk. We had a partly chilly/blustery week, but still managed to get some pool time in. Mary was also great when we showed up to the wrong house and started unpacking and letting the dog run around in their yard (eeeck)...quickly got us to the right house. Thanks again for a great stay!

The home and lot are simply gorgeous --an oasis in the woods. The pristine, heated backyard pool was perfect for lap swimming and just bobbing around. The entire home was spotless and easy to keep clean. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and easy to navigate. The walk to the beach is short and beautiful. The entire experience exceeded our already high expectations. The pictures and description are both extremely accurate. Worth every cent. We can't wait until our next stay.

Fabulous home
This was my third stay at this property and it definitely won’t be my last. The property is just stunning as well as super clean and comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-equipped with everything you need. And of course, the large heated pool is one of the highlights of the home. The property has a lot of privacy so you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I own a Tesla and it was super convenient to be able to charge at the property. Just use the adapter that Tesla provided with the car. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how great of a host Mary is. If you have any questions, she responds immediately and is always so nice and helpful. Suffice it to say, this is a standout luxury property and you won’t have any regrets booking it.

Another fabulous stay
This is my second time staying at this beautiful property (and it definitely won’t be my last). I have stayed at other vacation rentals in the area (at a similar price point) and none of them are in the same ballpark of luxury and comfort as Cherry Beach Pool House. The house is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. This home is in a perfect location for a quick getaway from Chicago. The beautiful and private backyard with heated pool is one of the standout features of the home. The water temperature is perfect and allowed for long days in the pool, even in late September. And Mary is a fabulous host and is extremely responsive to any questions you may have. I highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect for our first post- Covid reunion ")
Fabulous family reunion after 18 months of zoom gatherings !
Mary's Cherry Beach Pool House was a week of R&R and renewal with individual and group activities to meet all the needs of a multi-generational gathering-from 18 months to a 75th B-day celebration. Kids were able to be unfettered kids again...building sandcastles on a gorgeous stretch of unspoiled beach, spending hours in the saltwater pool, art projects in the sunroom, and of course, smores at night!
Adults took long walks, bike rides, explored an outdoor restaurant. We all did tons of cooking-each with their own dietary needs-easily accomplished in a 'chef's dream kitchen" with an 8 burner, double oven stove and huge prep areas, with openings directly into dining and living, keeping catch-up conversations flowing. Thanks ")

Fabulous home
This home is stunningly beautiful and super clean. The chef’s kitchen is well stocked for anything you may need. The large pool was heated to the perfect temperature and the backyard provided tons of privacy. I really can’t say enough good things about this house. The highlights for me are the deep soaking tub in the main bedroom, the beautiful kitchen (and the stunning countertops), and of course the pool surrounded by beautiful trees. A truly picturesque setting. And Mary is a fantastic host and super responsive. I’m already planning on booking this home again.

Wonderful house!
We loved Cherry Beach House! The house was beautiful and wonderfully stocked - the kitchen had everything we needed, games galore and all kinds of pool and beach items. Just a quick walk to a lovely beach and the pool was amazing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home
This is a beautiful home that has everything you could possibly want... and more! It is meticulously maintained and very comfortable to stay in. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and we loved the attached sun room where we ate all of our meals. There are so many pluses - a great master and master bath, the hot tub and pool are wonderful and the owner has provided floats and toys for everyone's enjoyment. Also, the area and location are near many restaurants if you choose not to cook. We so enjoyed staying here and Mary is fabulous to work with. One of the best properties we have ever rented!

Perfect MI vacation home
We had a lovely stay, and cannot wait to go back. The space was perfect for our family and the location puts you in the heart of everything you want to experience in Michigan — from beaches, berry picking and breweries, to local eats, antiquing treats across charming lakeside towns.

Fun family trip
Our family of 6 loved this house. Plenty of space, the boys loved the loft area and all the fun games and puzzles. There were so many extras that we enjoyed. The beach wagon and chairs were used daily and the pool toys were fun too. The finishing in the home are beautiful, especially the master bath! We will be sure to visit this home again.

Our 2nd Time Staying!

We stayed here last year and loved the property so much we booked again for this year - so I'm writing another review. The property is AWSOME! It's a hidden gem. Being so close to Cherry Beach is something else - it's a 10 minute walk, a minute by car. Our kids love going to the beach and being within walking/driving distance like this is a huge plus for us.
The pool and property is built for kids - there are so many floaties and toys to play with it really makes it great for the kids.
Mary is great to work with and they do a great job setting their property up for your vacation.
Like I said before if I could give 6 stars I would.

Perfect host, house, location
Perfect house for our group of five, with room to spare. Great kitchen and dining area to gather and cook together. Beautiful yard and pool. Highly recommend. Host was wonderful, easy to work with and accessible.

Great fall break vacation
We really loved this house and is very up to date. It is is great condition and had everything you would ever need. It’s just a short walk from the beach. Mary was great to work with.

Wow that pool is huge!
We really loved our stay at Mary’s home! She was very responsive throughout the week. The house was above our expectations. It was fully stocked with all we needed and more. My kids loved all the games and I couldn’t get my 7 year old out of the pool.
The pool - > 40 ft long with a deep end that’s 6 ft. Heated! Was great constant fun throughout the week even on some of the chillier days.
Thanks for the great time and can’t wait to be back!

Great Place to Leave Your Worries Behind and Just Relax!
The Cherry Beach Pool House is AWESOME! The owner (Mary) was great to work with and very easy to contact. She kept me updated via text and email as needed. The house was very clean and fully stocked with anything and everything you might need. The kitchen was large and nicely updated with top of the line appliances. The screened-in porch, just off the kitchen, overlooked the pool and was a great place for morning coffee and evening drinks. The pool was large with multiple rafts, toys and a basketball hoop. The hot tub was an added bonus and used often by the entire family. The outdoor grill was large and easy to use. The bedrooms were spacious and clean with plenty of linens provided. The house location is great. It's an easy drive to New Buffalo, St. Joe and to the multiple shops and restaurants in the area. A few of our favorites are the Harbert Swedish Bakery, Greenbush Brewery and Sawyer Home and Garden. Cherry Beach is only a 10 minute walk from the house and easy to access. I would highly recommend this house and hope to stay there again with my family in the future!

House is a 10 out of 10!!!!
We came up here with our family of 10 and needed a place that the grandparents felt comfortable staying away from crowds (covid-19). Also needed a place where 5 kids could swim and be active. This house was perfect for all of that. The house was recently renovated and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment for staying in and cooking. Ample seating for 10 people to eat meals in the kitchen, dining room and screened in all seasons room. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable.
Backyard was very private with an awesome pool. More floaties and pool toys than our kids could play with. Had a great hot tub that we could relax in after a long day.
Great location to Cherry Beach (10 minute walk), Weko Beach and Warren Dunes. Close to lots of area activities if you want to venture out.
We've been going on a Michigan family vacation for 7 years and have ventured all the way up Saugatuck staying at multiple places. We've had some good and some that were so/so. We liked this house so much that we've already booked our stay for next year!
We'd give this 6 out 5 stars if we could. Great place to stay with fabulous owners and a great vacation experience for our family.

Cherry Beach Pool House
We loved our stay at Cherry Beach Pool House! The house is beautiful inside and out. The inside is exceptionally clean and the landscaping outside was gorgeous. The house had everything you could possibly need. We spent time riding bikes and we especially loved the pool!!! Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental...it was an amazing vacation for our family of four.
