Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Shell Shack! It was very clean, updated and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the family room very comfortable. The back deck was lovely overlooking the lagoon. We loved how the home was only a short walk to the neighborhood pool as well as the beach. We appreciated the owner’s great communication. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home where we made lasting family memories during the week we were there!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shell Shack. The property is very close to the beach and the back deck was awesome for relaxing and looking at the turtles in the lagoon. Nice that the property also includes access to a pool. House was clean and host communicated clearly and responded to questions very fast. We hope to be able to stay at Andrea’s place again! Highly recommend.

The property was neat, clean and very orderly! Every night felt like a home away from home! Andrea's home is close and convenient to the beaches! Everything in the home is in working order and up to date! Had a fabulous time and would highly recommend the shell house for future stays!!

Our family had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend at the Shell Shack. The property was exactly how it was listed. We loved evening walks in the neighborhood and the short walk to the beach. We hope to stay here again!

We loved the location of this house. It was extremely quiet and we loved having the fountain and water behind the house. We loved to watch the turtles, crabs and fish swimming from the upper deck. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very clean and organized. Andrea was excellent to work with. We would defiantly stay here again.

We love Ocean Isle and always stay in Island Park - this house was by far the best we have stayed in. The owner was great to communicate with and the house was just perfect. Beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed! Great location - loved seeing turtles, crabs and fish everyday in the lagoon. Will definitely be staying there again!

This was perfect for a family vacation. We loved the location and the home itself. It does only have 2.5 baths instead of the 4 listed but that wasn’t an issue for us. The outdoor shower was amazing!!! The turtles would come up every time we went out on the deck so we tossed them celery and lettuce and tomatoes and it was beautiful. The sectional is so comfy and we will be back.

It was everything we hoped for and more! Great location and view. 10 minute walk to the beach. Salt water pool was a nice surprise but lacking any lounging chairs or umbrellas.

We enjoyed our time at Ocean Isle and The Shell Shack. The house was attractively decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. I thought it would be a longer walk to the beach but it wasn’t far at all. We would definitely stay there again.

Renting was really good would consider staying again but you do have a roach problem we found 2 dead one right off the bat in the bathrooms and we killed 3 didn’t like that too good considering we had 2 babies under 3 and a 4 year old you could use a gate at the bottom of the stairs for families with small children everything else was excellent

Comfortable house, within close walking distance of the ocean (approx. 5 minute). The Tipsy Turtle Bar is just a short walk down from the beach public access, so easy to obtain a drink while enjoying the waves! Take cash to the beach if you want an Italian Ice - the cart that comes by only takes cash. Check In and Out was extremely easy. Only issue we had was the upstairs shower only provided hot water or cold water, we could not get it to blend the two. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

The house is so nice, very clean and the perfect amount of space and storage. The back deck and outdoor seating areas were wonderful for relaxing evenings. We did rent a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach, but the distance is easily walkable as well. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly stay here again!

Shell shack was a wonderful property in close proximity to The Isles where our son got married. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Host was very responsive and left a handwritten note and bottle of champagne for us to help commemorate the occasion! Highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay. Communication with the host was great. Our group ranged from 9 to 69 and it worked for everyone.
My only caution would be to be careful on the outdoor stairs when they are wet as they can be very slick.

Great Beach House!
We had a great time at Ocean Isle Beach and this property! The house was exactly as listed on VRBO and very nice! We really enjoyed the view from the back upper deck. I would recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Thanks for a Great Vacation!

Clean Comfortable Well Maintained House
Overall it was a nice, comfortable clean updated house. Beds were comfortable. The beach on this side of island was more crowded than what we were used to and a little bit more of a walk than anticipated. The back deck had afternoon shade which was nice. Not a lot of parking or space for kids to play. Owners were helpful and responsive. We had trouble adjusting air conditioning but not a big deal. Kitchen was well stocked but could use more stovetop pans. We did not utilize pool because it lacked shade.
