Love Wild Dunes, love walking to the beach and being close to Mount Pleasant. I did have higher expectations for a Wild Dunes condo though given the peeling ceiling from water damage and chronic brown spots.

The lagoon was fun. Some wildlife visible. Location was great. Not as close to the beach as I thought, but not bad. Has some maintenance issues. Ceiling repair needed. Some outside work. TV reception trouble, especially during foul weather. Expected more for the price. Generally, a good experience though,

The check in was super easy. The location is super nice with a warm pool and beach access with a little walk. We rented a golf cart to get around the island easily, since this property is in the wild dunes you have to have a company with Wild Dunes permit, we used just beachy. But the place was clean, backed up to water were we seen an alligator. It was super nice. Can’t wait to come back next year.

This home has great potential, but fell short in a few areas. Minute details that would have made our trip awesome. (Wifi, information, check-in procedures, etc) Other areas were what I would expect in a vacation home. Glad our stay was short this time. Would like to see things improve, but might consider another option next time in Charleston. And there will be a next time...

Living room furniture and king bedroom furniture were nice. The condo was spacious, the bathrooms need updating as well as the kitchen.

Convenient to beach access and restaurants. We enjoyed the community pool to ourselves one afternoon! Unit was dated as mentioned by others, but clean and spacious. Stocked well with towels, detergent, toilet paper, etc. Air units noisy but the cicadas outside drowned out a lot! Would stay again for space, location and price.
Still waiting for reply from local management on issue we had with lock during checkin. Vacasa customer support very responsive but had to refer me to local management who we did not hear from promptly.

Our stay at Isle of Palms was great! The rental was exactly as promised. There were three different sets of check out procedures and we weren't sure which ones were required. The place is a little outdated inside, the decor, kitchen, and restrooms were all outdated. With a little updating the place could look really nice. The kitchen came furnished with dishes and cookware!
We felt like the walk to the beach was about 7-8 minutes and it was a very convenient location.

Condo is on 2nd floor so lots of steps to get to unit. Adequate kitchen. TV's are small for viewing. It's nice to have 2 master suites and the king bed is very comfortable but the queen suite beds could use upgrading and AC unit is very noisy in queen room. Nice balcony off both bedrooms. Pool is salt water and nice deck chairs. Pool area does not have a bathroom so can be a long walk back to unit. Unit is a 3 block walk to beach. Overall a good value for the rental cost.

We enjoyed our Villa very much. Clean, cozy feeling, everything at our fingertips. We arrived very late and was having problems finding the villa. Nobody’s fault , just dark. We called the # and a fine gal named Emily was right there to oblige us. Thanks again.

Clean the mold on the shower curtains and clean the table cloths under the lamps and the walls have things spilled on them. The mattresses in the double room were also poor :(
The tv will not power on in the master bedroom
Needs some updates and a deep clean -expected cleaner -blanket on master bed has stains that need washed. Wouldn’t re rent but it was a safe place to sleep

Enjoyed our stay. It was basic and clean. Great, fast communication with management. Only recommendations would be easier access to the pool key and keeping essentials (salt/pepper) in the kitchen.

PA vistors enjoyed our stay!
We loved the convenience to the beach and the pools at the hotel resort. Space was great, but if I had my toolbox, I could have repaired a couple things. Overall it was lovely, and since I picked the spot, my lady friend thought I was awesome!!

Lagoon villas 24
The villa was convenient, and we loved Wild Dunes. I thought the price was a little high for the amenities of the condo. We had plenty of space, but the decor and furniture were not updated. The TV’s were small. The couches and beds were very uncomfortable. There was no curtain on one of the screen doors because the curtain rod was broken. So, the morning sun came in very bright. The bathrooms were not the cleanest. Some dirt and dust on the floor.

Nice quiet place to stay. The unit was nice and clean. There were a couple little discrepancies that could be addressed, a tad bit of mold on the ceiling in corner above toilet in main bathroom, and looked like smeered dirt/mud on the backside of curtains leading to balcony in main bedroom, other than that nothing to major. The unit felt like home the moment we walked through the door! Granted it's a bit of a walk to the beach, roughly 10-15 minutes, it's still worth the stay! We will definitely stay again in the future! Upon check-in at the main office, the 2 ladies were welcoming, big smiles on their faces and very outgoing, and same with checkout when I dropped the pool key off. Thank you for a great place to spend a family vacation!

The property is very clean and organized. Some of the furniture could be updated and the kitchen is fairly well equipped. Nice to have a pool near by and the walk to the beach was very pleasant.

Our experience
The location was great. The property is very dated and definitely needs work and updating. Also when researching properties under VRBO the nightly rate is very deceiving. When you view the overall expense there’s a significant “owner’s fee” that basically adds on close to another’s night’s expense. It’s not that I was unaware because I could see it all once we got to the booking end of things I just feel it would be better to show it in the nightly expense. I feel this property was overpriced for what it was.

Threadbare decor, old and out dated
With 5 adults we were given 5 towels and 3 rolls of toilet paper for an entire weekend. When I checked in the pool key wasn’t attached so I haves to come back to the office through the beach traffic to retrieve it. I requested one additional detergent pod and some towels that never arrived.

Just right!
Condo was clean and quiet and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The little balcony off the bedroom was a bonus! Check in and out were a breeze. We were able to take a nice daily walk around the grounds. Clever set up that gives everyone space.
