The hotel is very beutiful, with lots of art in the lobby, in the rooms and everyware. The personnel, especially the manager Sanjiva and also the "first officer" Norman, were very friendly, helpful, efficient and organized transport for a good price, even after i had alredy left the hotel. The localization is very good, near the Town Hall, the National Museum and the Viharamahadevi Park, and still very calm and quiet, altho it is quite loud in Colombo - almost evryware.

This is a fantastic hotel. It’s beautiful, clean, quiet and in a great location. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful, especially Sanjeewa. Highly recommended.

The staff here have gone above and beyond to ensure I’ve had a great stay and experience, with great advice for all of my questions and decisions about how best to enjoy Colombo and the rest of my holiday. When I was having some difficulty planning the next part of my trip, manager Sanjeewa was extremely helpful and helped me to make plans in Kalpitiya. This is a great team - Sanjeewa, Anthony and Norman, thank you for looking after me during my stay and for making me feel at home and very welcomed. I also had a very good night’s sleep as the room was quiet with a comfortable bed.

Beautiful hotel!

Hard to find, when arriving we saw outside the cockroach walk. We found another one in the bathroom. When the children took a bath, the water flood all over the floor when they let the water flow away.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, well located in a calm part of Colombo but with everything easily accessible. The staff were very friendly and helped us find somewhere to eat, as we arrived on a holiday when most places were closed.

It is a quiet sidestreet very close to Colombo busy area. The interior is nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable. We had one with a big terrace. The staff is really welcoming and friendly, the hotel manager helped us with some advise and we had good breakfast in the morning.

Beautifully decorated and furnished hotel in a great part of Colombo. Walking distance to lots of amenities. Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended. Very helpful with lending us umbrellas, giving us info on local attractions, making sure we had water when we went out for walks and letting us use the phone to sort out issues with flights.

Bathroom didn't match the quality of all the other rooms in the hotel. Mouldy rubber bath mat and grouting could do with a refresh.

the staff are amazing and will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is perfect. they can’t do enough to help and make you feel welcome… no request is too big for them. you won’t get this kind of service at any 5* hotel

Rooms are comfortable and clean. AC and fans make it easy to escape the heat if you want to. I recommend getting breakfast there, though since it is made fresh, make sure you have time for a leisurely meal. Free bottled water on demand is very convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful in getting you whatever you might need.

Room did not have a mini-fridge. Having access to cold drinks would improve the experience.

The decoration of the room is good. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They help us book PCR tests and give us cloth hangers. Bathroom is large with tub. AC and hot water both are fine.

WIFI is very slow, and the data of WIFI is limited. The worst thing is that the guests of the next room have the access to my bathroom, which was not informed by any staff. Privacy is bad. Not quiet. We can hear the voice from the next room when in bathroom. In the morning, there is a dog barking.

I had a great stay at Rosmead Place by Thilanka. I initially booked for 2 nights but ended up staying almost a whole week! The hospitality was just wonderful. Sangeewa, the property manager made my stay one to remember by helping me with small tasks that I needed done for business work. From helping to print documents to helping with laundry, he was absolutely great. Every staff member had smiles on their faces and were very courteous. The breakfast in the mornings was also memorable - simple yet delicious. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I'm looking forward to staying at the property again next time I visit Colombo. Highly recommended!

Everything was great!

Tremendous 24hr service—super kind and helpful staff managed our arrival in the middle of the night, from 2am onward, ensuring our transfer from airport and our check-in were easy and efficient. They took amazing care of us during our single night and morning. Room was beautifully appointed and air conditioned. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, and the location was ideal : quiet and a bit outside of downtown yet close to train station and a big green park—which helped our jet lag.
