Gorgeous 2 bed apartment with large terrace overlooking Combesgate Beach
Overcombe es un maravilloso apartamento de dos dormitorios frente al mar con vistas a toda la bahía de Woolacombe y vistas a la playa de Combesgate, una popular playa de surf en un extremo de la bahía de Woolacombe. Overcombe tiene un gran salón con una suite de cuero marrón (3 y 2 plazas) donde puede sentarse a disfrutar de la vista si no está afuera en la terraza orientada al sur disfrutando. TV digital con Blu Ray, DVD / Video, un reproductor de CD / radio con toma de MP3 y WiFi están disponibles junto con juegos, libros, DVD y videos. This was our fourth time to Woolacombe and the second stay at Overcombe, having stayed two previous years in Cliff House. We love it here. Overcombe is fabulous with stunning views across the bay. Woolacombe is small but offers everything that you might need for a week or so away. Access to the house is not for the faint hearted - you need to be prepared to walk up a steep hill, which fortunately we love doing. We will be returning again for sure! Thank you for another amazing holiday.

Overcombe is in a wonderful position with fantastic views over the village and beach. It is always spotlessly clean with everything you can possibly want or need. This was our 2nd visit. The property is well equipped and in a great location. Situated at the quieter end of town with beautiful views across the bay. Apartment is very comfortable and we have enjoyed both visits. The property would benefit from some TLC and in depth cleaning in some areas but nothing dreadful to report.

The flat was clean, comfortable and spacious. Some nice walks can be done from the flat to nearby cliff paths. As others have mentioned, parking is a bit tight, and it is a steep climb from the parking up to the property. But what makes this property special are the views, which are fantastic. We enjoyed many hours just sitting and looking out of the windows, especially when the weather was poor.
Overall, highly recommended, and would happily stay again.

Perfect week
4 adults. Easily accommodated. Stunning views. Storage space for bicycles / boards in garage. It is a walk to both woolacombe & mortehoe but we preferred this location. Would definitely go back

Lovely location for a break away
A very comfortable property with stunning views out over the cliffs to the beach and sea. If the weather co-operates the outside seating is perfect for enjoying dinner and the loungers are great for chilling. Location is away from the business of the main beach so is a relaxing place. The property is pretty well equipped - we cooked 5 nights and most mornings. The view from bed is great even when it is raining. When it isn't too windy having the doors open and listening to the sea when in the lounge is a must. We have booked again.

Lovely holiday in Woolacombe
Overcombe is a lovely apartment on the ground floor ( though if you park in allotted parking space there is a full flight of stairs up to the flat , with rail, if your neighbours agree you can access on the level if they’re happy for you to drop off on their drive , this is what we did as Mum s mobility not great) . Once inside there is everything you need, beautifully clean and fantastic sea views. You get the sun morning til night, can watch the sun set on the terrace.
10 min walk along esplanade into Woolacombe and 10 min up the hill to Morthoe. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Easy access to coastal paths and other lovely walks.
We had a lovely holiday here would highly recommend, so long as you have good mobility

An Apartment in an Idyllic location
Overcombe - on the hillside between Woolacombe & Mortehoe - is situated in an idyllic location looking South along the 2 1/2 mile stretch of Woolacombe sands & Sea towards Croyde.
The apartment is well furnished, comfortable & very homely. Very suitable for those who just like to relax, or for the more energetic a perfect place for coastal walking, and for surfer enthusiasts! ( The only possible downside for those advanced in years(?) may be the flight of external steps upto the property.

A nice comfortable apartment with excellent views. Well equipped and spacious. The commanding views over Woolacombe are unbeatable.
Parking is tight and requires quite a bit of manoevering that will test your skills.
The approach steps are very steep and lengthy so may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, well worth the climb though.

Rooms with a view!
Overcombe is a self catering apartment in an idyllic setting with superb views of Woolacombe Bay on the North Devon Coast. The property is part of a small complex built on the hillside between Woolacombe & the small village of Morthoe, and is the perfect Residence in which to relax,unwind, from where there are pleasant walks - and of course swimming! (the only possible downside for the elderly or infirmed are the 25 external steps upto the apartment). I thoroughly recommend this holiday let.

Fabulous week
We had another super week in Overcombe. The weather and views were as fabulous/dramatic as ever and we hardly used the car all week! The measures put in place by Holiday Home Hunter as a result of Covid 19 were impressive in their practicality and detail and we felt very safe both in the apartment and out and about.

Overall very good, beautiful views. Lot of steep steps to get up do not great if you have mobility issues. About 3/4 mile walk to Woolacombe beach and shops.
Did get a little noisy at times from apartment upstairs which I didn’t know was there. Also did get rather damp but the weather wasn’t great and you get damp by the sea.
I would go back again.

Panoramic Views
We were completely overwhelmed by the view from our apartment. The reviews we had read had all mentioned the wonderful scenery but until you experience it for yourselves you will never really know just what a beautiful vista is laid before you. We had most of our meals seated at the dining table overlooking the bay and we never tired of it. Even when the weather was less than clement the views of the sea, beach and hills and dales kept our interest. We enjoyed the locale taking a circular walk starting and ending in Mortehoe and enjoyed lunch and a few drinks at the Chichester pub on a beautiful sunny afternoon followed by tea and cake at the Town House tea garden. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped and the bed was comfortable and again the view from the bedroom was spectacular. We left the windows open at night so that we could listen to the sea. The apartment is in a very quiet area and offered us a peaceful and relaxing sojourn for the week. It was balm for the soul and a lovely place to be. Our memories of this place will be treasured.

Overall fantastic spot a little tired some basic maintenance needed
This is a wonderful location for a property balcony and views are unbeatable. I think however the property would benefit from some maintenance seemed set up a number of years ago and not much input for a while. For example all the outdoor furniture is past its best and in some cases unusuable . Also inside videos dvds books could all do with an upgrade. Other wise fantastic spot.

Nicely furnished cosy apartment, ideal for 2 adults. Downside bed mattress needs replacement very soft.
DVD player did not work.parking is awkward when others apartments are occupied.
Overall Overcombe is lovely place to stay especially if you have great weather.

Excellent apartment, wonderful location and stunning sea views
This is a quality apartment - comfortable, comprehensively equipped and unparalleled views over Woolacombe bay. From the apartment you can easily walk down the road into Woolacombe, or up the hill into Mortehoe village, or down the steps into the sandy bay directly opposite, or access the beautiful North Devon Coastal path. The service from Hunter Holidays was first class, going out of their way to help us with a last minute booking. We would be delighted to return to Overcombe again.
