It is a clean and well maintained, sunlight filled home on a quiet street within easy walking distance to the Capitol building. We all enjoyed our stay there. We would stay there again!

We came to DC with our three grandsons ages 10 and 11. Chris’s home was perfectly located in a quiet residential area in Capitol Hill. Just blocks from the Eastern Market metro station, it was so easy to get to all the sights plus dinner options. Our boys navigated the neighborhood so easily. The house was great. Everything we needed for a lovely stay. Very clean. Chris made checkin so easy. His house was well stocked with linens, towels, and toiletries. We didn’t cook meals there since we wanted to take advantage of the great restaurants nearby, however the kitchen was great. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks Chris!

My folks and I stayed for a few days in this beautiful condo. Nicely decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. The location is perfect for walking to the Capitol and other DC sights. Over the weekend I found street parking easily right in front. Friendly communication with the owner. We appreciated our time there. I highly recommend!

This property is extremely well located, walking distance from the Capitol and Mall. The neighborhood is very quiet. The property is well appointed. Top appliances, very clean, well decorated, everything well stocked-up. Parking is easy nearby. Will definitely recommend.

This is a comfortable row-style house in a safe neighborhood just blocks from the Capital. Kitchen and family/living room were well equipped and nicely decorated. Our family of three would stay here again without reservation.

This house was perfect. It's in a lovely neighborhood very near the Library of Congress, and within walking distance to Eastern Market and the Washington Mall. The house itself is very pretty, updated, with lots of things to make your stay easier like toiletries and laundry supplies. The TV is nice and big, and logged into streaming services. We enjoyed our stay here very much and had no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in Eastern Market. Chris made sure we got in okay and was available and very responsive throughout the stay. The house was very spacious, clean, and well stocked, especially the kitchen. Living area was very comfy. Grocery (Trader Joe's) and Eastern Market metro were about a 10 minute walk away. We were there with our 8 month old and 2.5 year old kids and stairs were not a problem at all.

Perfect for a visit to the Capitol and Smithsonians. Both within easy walking distance. Bonus was proximity to Eastern Market parking, shops, coffee, markets, etc. Host was responsive and helpful. Good value, will use again if available.

I absolutely loved Chris' home on 6th St. Coming from CA, my children truly enjoyed walking around the streets and seeing the old homes. Its a charming neighborhood. The metro is very easy to access, great restaurants blocks away, and a nice safe neighborhood. The house was very clean. We were welcomed with fresh flowers. The kitchen is well appointed; not like other homes with a sad mix of plates, cutlery, and cups. The rooms were very spacious. The bathrooms were updated and in great condition. There is not one thing to complain about.
Whenever I needed to ask Chris a question, he was quick to respond and very accommodating. Honestly, this was our best house rental as a family. We were so sad to leave but know we will be back. Thank you again Chris for sharing your home. It was a true delight.

This is a recently renovated townhouse in a perfect location for sightseeing in DC, about a 10-minute walk to the Eastern Market metro and about 15 minutes to the Capitol. The property has nice high ceilings, hardwood floors, and lots of natural light. The living room with a view of the street is a great place to relax after a day of walking the Mall or touring museums. Our host, Chris, made check-in and check-out very easy and kept in touch throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

This gorgeous row house in the historical, upscale Capital Hill neighborhood ticked all the boxes, and then some! Outstanding location: loved walking to Eastern Market and local restaurants for phenomenal food. Easy access to the National Mall and Smithsonian - no car needed. Lovely interior: modern and bright throughout, including remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. Such a joy to work in a kitchen with nice, new appliances and good kitchen equipment! Responsive, respectful property owner. Will be top of our list for next visit.

This property is in a lovely Capitol Hill neighborhood within walking distance of all Capitol Hill sites as well as the quaint but chic Eastern Market, with all of it's shops and restaurants. The Eastern Market Metro Station is a short walk from the house.
The home was fully equipped with everything you might need, spacious kitchen and living room, bedrooms are lovely each with it's own bath. Very comfortable and convenient. Host was welcoming and reachable at all times, though we really didn't need to reach him as everything was in order. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient location in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. But as the description of the propery makes clear the stairs are quite steep, so take note of that.

What you see is what you get - smart, clean and very comfortable! The neighborhood is historic and charming. You'll love morning walks or evening runs. We were there to attend a conference at CHBC which is a short 1.5 blocks to the north. But also, all the sights and delights of DC are within walking distance (check out the E scooter and bikes as a zippy fun alternative). The owner, Chris was responsive and accessible with any questions (thanks for the hard apple cider - nice touch). The check in/out instructions were clear and simple. The next time you're in DC - this is your place.

Great location and lovely place
We had a great stay at this very conveniently located Capitol Hill condo. It was comfortable, clean, quiet and really nicely appointed. Chris, the owner, was incredibly responsive and very nice. I would recommend it highly, especially for anyone who is interested in visiting the museums on the mall.

Great Stay
The house is in a great neighborhood and close to the Capital. Very nice pad and Chris was a great host, both communicating with us on the rental as well he mailed back our Ipad we accidently left there.

Repeat visit!
Our second stay here was as great or better than our first! Newly redone master bath is lovely; stylish and very functional. We love walking to Eastern Market and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. As before, Chris is the most responsive, responsible and welcoming host. We will return again and cannot recommend his property highly enough!

Amazing home in DC !
We stayed there for a family gathering with our teenager kids and enjoyed every minute of it ! The house is in a nice, quiet and very safe neighborhood, just minutes walking to the Capitol. It is amazingly decorated and gives a home feeling right away. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms very comfortable. Christopher is an amazing host, and answered our questions right away. Communication was excellent.
We will definitely come back for future trips to DC !
