Sub Rosa Bakery, Pizza Bones, Union Market all within 5 minutes by foot; Computer Cave a half hour walk away to fix your electronics. Jefferson Park a 10-minute walk away. The state capitol is 30 minutes walk distant, same for the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. Memorial of the notorious triangle trade (Liverpool-West Africa-Richmond) is in Shockoe Valley, 25 minutes by foot from your room. Thanks to the year 2020 protests, very few of the monuments can be found anymore that used to valorize the rebellion perpetrated 1860-1865 by the slave power.

An adorable studio apartment perfect for two. The amenities are just right (iron, glassware, utensils, dishwasher, noise machine, a bottle of red wine, Netflix already signed in, an umbrella for the rainy Saturday came in handy, low kind overhead lighting) cozy peaceful place above the city streets. Overall great place with one major setback: the bed was less then comfortable and needs an update more on par with the other great features of the place! Would love to stay again, but would need a better, proper bed so we can recharge and enjoy our stay feeling energized. Also, great hipster block to stay on with lots of diversity! Bakery, Ice-cream shop, yoga, pizza place, upscale cocktail bar, ramen house, funky restaurant, etc.

What a great experience! The unit was clean and exactly as described. The location was top notch with easily accessible locations. Had a special request of the property manager and they responded within seconds and we’re incredibly accommodating. Would absolutely stay again!

It’s hard for this little place NOT be all you can expect. The area is lovely, with coffee, pizza and ice cream within minutes. Lovely spot and unit, just be aware that it is up a pretty serious set of steps. Lots of light and special touches by the owner.

The vrbo was perfect and the location was great for us. Only 2 mins from our friends house. We took advantage of the awesome bakery, markets and ice cream shops. Parking was no problem. Had a minor issue with netflix on first night but someone came over immediately and fixed it. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

We were in town for a wedding and found the Eileen site which was much more affordable than some of the hotels in the city. The room and property were exactly as pictured. The rooms were modern and clean. The amenities made it feel like a home away from home and suited our needs perfectly. We could go to a nearby market for groceries to stay in and cook for ourselves, we could venture around Church Hill, or go into the city for dining and site-seeing where there are a number of restaurants, cafes, museums, etc. Eileen is a perfect spot if you want easy/quick city access without having to stay in the city so parking was never a problem around the residence. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. We cant wait to go back to Richmond and stay at Eileen again.

Everything was perfect. Nothing but beautiful from the entry to the bathroom, incredible details and probably the cleanest stay anywhere I have ever had! Street parking was free and was right in front of the door, available every night I was there. Location was a quiet street close to the interstate and VCU.

We very much enjoyed the property during our stay. The property manager did a great job communicating the checkin process and had a binder with lots of information about things to do in the area. We would absolutely stay here again.

Eileen didnt disappoint
One of the cutest places we have ever stayed! Arriving to a bottle of complimentary wine was a nice touch. Walkable to so many things.

Great location for us. Street parking was difficult at times due to pizza restaurant adjacent to property. Limited popular channel selection for viewing. Rug in sleeping area soiled.

Beautiful Studio in Church Hill
Everything I could need was supplied at this lovely studio! It was super clean, bright, and fully equipped, including all toiletries, kitchen utensils, coffee (really appreciated that first morning!) and a nice bottle of red wine (also very nice!). Was even able to wash a few clothes before I headed out. Since I was visiting family, I did not get to check out local restaurants which looked great but I’ll do this in the future. Will absolutely return on next visit to Richmond!

Cozy and Welcoming
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, welcoming, and in a great neighborhood. The bed was comfy and parking was easy! We loved that we were able to walk to local restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

We stayed here during a trip to Richmond for a family wedding. The place was perfect for my husband and I! It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. They even had a bottle of wine for us to enjoy! Check-in was easy and the building/room has a code for easy access. It was also great because my parents and my brother and his girlfriend needed a place to stay as well. We rented three of the rooms and were able to have our separate spaces but still be close by. The location was amazing and walkable to lots of restaurants/shops. I would highly recommend staying here, it was much better than a hotel!

Perfect for the 2 of us!
Loved this place! It’s always a bit risky but we really lucked out this time! Beautifully old but new! Couple of suggestions for you. Maybe a small folding or deli table and chairs. (Brought dinner in to eat but no place to sit/enjoy.) Also maybe a fan over the bed for air circulation. Loved the bathroom enough to take photos for a bathroom renovation at home. Thank you for your hospitality!
