Upon arrival communication was excellent!
The cabin was actually nicer than pics showed!! Will & Deb made the most pleasant vacay getaway!! There was not one thing that could have been added to make our stay complete. We made new friends & we as group of longtime friends will NEVER forget this outing!! OLD SCHOOLERS! We ❤️ yall!!

We absolutely love this place. House was spotless and had everything we need. We fished for 3 days and loved that we could walk down to the lake. Kids had a blast swimming and fishing. We will definitely be staying here again.

Comfy at Granny’s
Lil Grannys has very comfortable beds, very clean, and has everything you need. It has a very nice dock at the end of the road and very accommodating hosts. I highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time here and we will be back again!
The perfect, simple, family vacation. Comfortable house and beautiful scenery. It’s exactly what we needed for our family get-away. Caught some fish, saw some shooting stars from the gorgeous deck, and enjoyed the kayaks too. Can’t wait until next year!

Super Stay
This place is a great place-it has all of the modern comforts
(Especially great water pressure and comfy bedding and mattresses)…but it takes you back to a place that was the Hill country, before it became so well-known and crowded. Gorgeous oaks overhang the road, quiet street full of rolling green lawns down to the cove.

Great Find
This was the best experience yet. Owner friendly and answered any questions we had. Neighborhood nice and quiet with screened in porch totally made stress of city life vanish away. You could not ask for a nicer cleaner rental. We will be back!!

I love Lil Granny's House!! Best vacation ever!!
My husband and myself visited from Georgia. On our way to Lil Granny's house I picked my grandbabies up on the way because they got to stay with us while there. It was perfect for them. They played on the big screen in porch, we had smores in the backyard. They were never bored. All the neighbors were very friendly. Will Gilliam the owner of the house was so friendly and willing to help with anything that we needed. I was sad to leave and I will definitely come back on my next vacation.

Little Granny's is big on comfort and fun.
My husband and I were looking for a quick get away and we decided to try the hill country. Little Granny's immediately caught our eye. The house is the perfect size, very clean with lake access and an awesome covered porch. Will was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Since this was our first time in the area, he even made sure to tell us about some local attractions to check out. We didn't get to stay long enough but we will be back with our daughter and some friends/family. Can't wait to hang out on the amazing new dock and take advantage of more of the water activities. Thanks to Will for being the host with most. Looking forward to coming back to Little Granny's soon!

Perfect Get- Away!
Granny’s is a lovely cottage- perfect for 2 couples- right at the lake.
Will was a gracious and very accessible host. The beds are uber comfortable and tbe property has everything you could possibly want or need. I highly recommend Granny’s to anyone who wants to get away!

Fun little house
Plenty of room, great party room for the kids. Private dock was perfect to leave pontoon over night. Will was very attentive to our needs. Zero complaints! Had a grand time!

Excellent home away from home!
Will was an amazing host and the home was charming! My family made memories and went on lots of adventures while vacationing here. Everything was so clean and there was something for everyone. We had a family night fishing trip on one of the Granny’s docks, along with swimming in the day time. I wholeheartedly recommend this lake house!!

Cozy & comfortable
The cabin had all the amenities & comfort we wanted & made for an enjoyable visit. Will was the most accommodating host we have ever experienced, going above & beyond to make sure we were having a good time. We look forward to returning in the fall to spend more time on the screened-in porch. Thanks for your hospitality, Will, as well as your expert medical advice for my sprained finger! Lake House Weekend
Had the best time with my kids and wife... Probably the best weekend in ten years and it just so happened to happen at little granny's lake house... Thank you Hosts Will and Deb for being a part of that... Ill definitely be back!

Cozy & comfortable
The cabin has all the amenities for a relaxing stay. Will was the most accommodating host we have ever experienced! Not only was he well-informed about the area, but he was also helpful with medical knowledge about a finger I sprained before arrival. Definitely want to go back in cooler weather to spend more time on the porch.

Amazing place
We stayed here for 3 days, upon arrival Will came over and introduced himself and maked us feel welcomed. He showed us around the house and the lake. Place was spotless and had everything we needed! Lake was beautiful, had a amazing time swimming and fishing but no luck on fish. We also used the canoe which was great and fun! Would definitely give this 10 stars if I could! Thanks Will for the amazing place!

Excellent
This property is a hidden gem. Everything was clean and accessible. The ownership is attentive and always checked on us to see if we needed anything. When we came home, he made sure the outside lights were turned on so that we weren’t coming in to the dark. It is close to the lake and close to all amenities. This is a perfect place for a couple or two couples. We will definitely come back.

William was analyzing host. Our family had an amazing time. He was easy to get a hold of. He has a wealth of information about the area. He ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We can not wait to go back. This is a must stay for anyone looking for a nice peaceful getaway in the beautiful hill country.

Spring in the hills!
So I have been staying here at this property for a while now off and on... I can't recommend this little treasure enough! Plenty to do with the kids both young and old from fishing to hiking, to kiyaking, paddle boat... Etc... The people in what the neighborhood refers to as " Little Mayberry" are the best part of little granny's! Highly recommend a stay here with Will and Deb Gilliam!

Lil Granny's is the best!
We were overall impressed! The southern hospitality shined through over and over here! As a first time VRBO renter we really enjoyed staying at this home. It had everything you needed, and more. We would highly recommend staying there and enjoying the dock to fish and the awesome screened in porch (with a huge tv) for wondeful memories!

Great Little Getaway
We were looking for a quiet little family time getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The owner, Will, is a fantastic host. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and had some great recommendations for local things to do. The cabin is beautiful. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The highlight is the beautiful screened in porch that was so comfortable and perfect for some family game time. Huge TV on the screened in porch was great for a movie after games. The lake is a very, very short walk from the cabin. We did think this cabin was a bit more secluded based on the pictures but you are in a neighborhood. However, the neighborhood is extremely quiet and it felt secluded. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing little getaway! Thanks so much Will! We did have fun, fun, fun till our daddy took the T-bird away :)

Granny's Lil Cabin Adventure!
I can not express my love for this little place.. Filled with all of its rich deep rooted history and it's small town charming vibe. But the real secret to this little piece of heaven by the lake isn't the location, or the amenities... No the real hidden jem is the owner's... Not just the owner's but the previous owners both of which live right next door... One of them rebuilt it with is own hands saving it from the ravages of flooding and time... The others Granny actually used to live there when he was a kid... These people are the best folks Texas hospitality has to offer...
I'll stay here again and again and again! Highly recommended to ALL!!!

Just what we needed!
Lil' Granny's Lake House was just what we needed. We booked our stay to evacuate from Hurricane Laura and we were so glad we did. The house was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. You are less than and hour away from 3 state parks or you can just stay put and enjoy the Colorado River or Llano River nearby. Will the owner was very responsive and friendly, the neighbor Jackie was kind and welcoming. And we can't stress enough how clean the house was, very important in these COVID-19 times. We highly recommend Lil' Granny's and have already sent our friends and family the VRBO listing information to go enjoy the house and location themselves!

Loved lil Granny's
Lil Granny's was such an amazing place. We had a weekend getaway birthday for my son's 10th birthday. Not only was the house and lake perfect, the owner, Will, and his helper Jackie were such amazing people. They heard we were coming for a birthday and went out and bought my son his favorite ice cream (dairy free even) before we arrived. The house was well stocked with anything we could have needed and super cute. Everyone we saw was super friendly and helpful. The lake was beautiful and the boats available to us made our trip even better! I can't say enough good things about the place. We had a few friends come visit Saturday for swimming and while the house is smaller it held us all well. Multiple people asked for the rental info because it was such a great place. We will definitely come back sometime. Thanks Will!

CUTE! Lil Granny's is a nice location to relax and have access to the lake. You are able to fish, canoe, kayak and boat. The owners are very nice people, easily accessible and friendly. Best thing for me was the peace and quiet of the location, you are able to read and unwind in serenity.

This was everything and more than I expected! We were really needing a getaway from the craziness of all that’s going on and we were able to relax, unwind and breath. The property managers were top notch and this little lake house met every expectation from the comfy beds to the complimentary ice cream from Will and and his wife! We will be back and will highly recommend to all our friends!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lil Granny! The house was comfortable and clean and Will was so friendly and helpful!
We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the private dock, and the house was conveniently located to a lot of the activities and sites we planned on visiting.
