The location was perfect, very close to rhe national park, the property was beautiful with flowers and garden, the room was elegantly decorated with a spa type atmosphere and the breakfast was outstanding with homemade breads, scones, yogurt and all the Irish traditiions. The best part was the hostess who treated us like family and with such hospitality that we will go out of our way to stay here again!
The was a small eyesore which was the neighboring property who has farm epuipment visable on the driveway that approaches this property.

So much care and thought (and investment)has been put into the whole experience for travellers. Nothing is too much trouble. We love a 'can do' attitude in a B&B owner and it is not always the case, but Suzanne surpassed all expectations! She even offered us some gorgeous freshly made scones and home made quiche as a gift! Everything good quality, spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Forest Lodge was an oasis of calm in an idyllic setting.The views were breathtaking, the lodge was cosy and immaculate and the atmosphere was so peaceful and serene.The hostess Suzanne was so kind and made us feel so welcome.She was very informative and I enjoyed talking to her.I hope to come back sometime.

Everything: Gorgeous tranquil location; large spacious and comforting bedroom with great views. Suzanne was engaging and respectful and responsive to all needs. I found staying in the b&b a calming and restorative experience. I shall return.

The room was comfortable and cosy. The host was very friendly and helpful. She hung up our wet things after a rainy walk and loaned me a spare coat to wear to dinner. The location is perfect - we saw lots of birds and wild foxes from our window. Breakfast scones were delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We loved staying with Suzanne! We were two single ladies in our late 20s and we fancied some time away in the fresh air because we love walking. Suzanne was exceptional and made us feel like we were in our home away from home. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast scones were to die for. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very comfortable and looked after.

Good location for some work in the Glendalough area. Suzanne was very friendly and helpful; especially when the electricity failed due to strong winds.
Slightly hard to find, sign is small and easily missed. The lodge entrance is just after Doire Coille House B&B, about 1km south of the turnoff to Glenmalure if coming from Laragh.

Suzanne was really very helpful with everything. She drove us to the nearest Village and picked us up later. The breakfast was great, small but everything was fresh and/or homemade like the homegrown raspberries. Very comfortable beds and quiet surroundings.

Suzan gave us a great experience, helped us a lot with everything (dinner reservation, advice on what to see). Great breakfast and she did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The hospitality we received was incomparable. Our host Suzanne was warm and welcoming and provided the most comfortable stay of our 3-week trip through Ireland. We arrived later than expected, and Suzanne had a small nosh ready for us and the kettle was on.

The location is incredible, and Susanne the property manager was an exceptional host. I felt very well cared for during my stay and felt very safe tucked away in the oak forests. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to slow down and take in the beauty of Wicklow/Glendalough.

this was the best place we’ve stayed so far. it was close to Glendalough and for a good value. Suzanne was super accommodating and had breakfast ready for us. We were sad to only get to stay here one night. would definitely come back.

Everything wasn’t perfect. Our host Suzanne went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be! Our breakfast and all the special extras makes Forest View our top stay while in Ireland.
