A pesar de estar como en un polígono. Cuando entras es muy muy bonito el alojamiento. Muchos árboles y súper tranquilo. Piscina grande. Desayuno algo escaso pero muy bueno hecho por la chica que vive ahí. Muy recomendable para alojarse al empezar o acabar la aventura por Costa Rica. De 10!!

Ubicación un poco mala pero hay restuarantes buenos cerca

We needed to lay-over hotel after our flight landed quite late, and this hotel was much better than just a stop-over - I could have stayed a couple of days. The garden/grounds are beautiful and peaceful, breakfast was served around the gorgeous pool and the rooms are clean and spacious. For value for money, this hotel exceeds expectation.

Schöne Anlage

Die Lage ist ideal für Anreise oder Abreise via Flughafen San Jose. Supermärkte in direkter Umgebung, auch ideal, wenn man Alajuela erkunden will oder zum Poas fahren will. Sehr ruhig gelegene Anlage. Sehr sauberes Bad mit großer Dusche.

Schwierige Kommunikation, da nur Spanisch verstanden wird, mit Grundkenntnissen kommt man aber zurecht.

On n’est resté qu’une nuit et on est partis très tôt le matin, on a regretté : l’endroit est incroyable, un oasis en pleine ville, avec piscine et verdure. C’est joli, propre, calme et confortable. A recommander sans hésiter

Attention, c’est proche de l’aéroport mais pas de l’endroit où on doit rendre les voitures de location (Belen), si vous voulez rendre la voiture juste avant d’aller prendre l’avion, et que cela tombe pdt les heures de pointe, prévoyez du temps

Gated property. Pleasant grounds. Friendly "owner(?)/manager(?)". Lots of towels. Hacienda style buildings have the appearance of a prior/grander era. Relatively close to SJO airport.... 15-20 minutes, depending on time of day/traffic.

+ Advertisement CLEARLY says they have a HOT TUB. But they do not. When asked about it, they just shrugged shoulders. This is false advertising. + Absolutely NO English spoken here, which makes it a little tricky. No reason they should speak it.... just something to keep in mind. + Almost no water or water pressure in shower. Shower head may just be clogged. + Highly congested traffic on local roads.

Very friendly maid Mari. Charming place, large room, nice pool and gorgeous garden . Sadly, I only stayed there for one night and seems like I was an only guest there.

Everything was amazing at this lovely place, with a huge plus for the very beautiful and peaceful garden and the kindness of Mari, even if we could only communicate in Spanish. As a solo traveller, I was initially skeptical about the neighborhood reading previous reviews but I could walk to the supermarket close by and go the restaurant (also a 4-5min walk) without any issues at all.

Not that this can be influenced by the property but there was loud Latin music until 9-10PM coming from the neighborhood that could be heard from the room. I still extended my stay so it was not „that bad“ and when it was over,it was quieter than other places in Alajuela.

A hidden gem!! Great for the price and location. I recommend getting there during daylight to be able to see the Airbnb signs. Can be a bit scary at night outside of the B&B. The B&B is completed gated and feels very safe once inside. Very close to the airport. Beautiful outside scenery. Clean room just a few ants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only speak Spanish but they were very helpful, even helped me carry up my suitcase upstairs.

The room didn’t have any AC but it was still cool enough to sleep at night.

Very friendly and responsive staff. I got a response within minutes when I had any questions. Very delicious dinner recommendations and the property was much more beautiful than expected.

This isn’t a huge deal, but we were supposed to have king beds according to the listing but our beds ended up being queens.

Breakfast by the pool was good with fresh fruit, eggs, juice and coffe. Beautiful garden. Very nice pool. Very nice room. Friendly staff. The alarm clock are the birds singing in the garden…amazing! 15 minutes from the airport.

This place is a hidden gem .you will be surprised by the beautiful settings.

The location. But great spot especially close to the airport. would recommend and would stay again. The place is beautiful and clean and compensates for the area not much to do as location is in industrial area.

Green paradise in the middel of the city. Nice staff and breakfast. They allowed to stay at the pool/garden until our flight goes.

The room next to us was just separated through a wooden door which was not sealed. In consequence we could clearly hear our neighbors and they us. So there was no privacy as you expect in an B&B. Also there were lots of ants which we never had in that intensity in Costa Rica.

It´s a magical place, full of charm, very quiet. You wouldn´t expect it given the street the location it´s in but it doesnt dissapoint at all.

I had a great stay at this tiny but perfect hotel. It's not far from the airport, it's quiet and after you enter the gate, you are in the middle of a big green garden. The pool is lovely. It was super clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is perfect. The shower was warm and firm and the bed was very fine. I had a good sleep.

Nothing about it was bad. There are not many restaurants around, I wouldn't recommend walking there by your own, but if you have a car, it is no problem. There is a supermarket nearby, 5 minute walk.

Probably by comparison with other we visited previously during our trip breakfast was less impressive although really sufficient. I wished we had AC and I did miss this detail when I booked here.

it was an oasis of calm in the city. the staff were very helpful, it was comfortable and we had everything we needed. the pool area was particularly good.

it was a bit too far out of town and there were no restaurants that we could walk to.
