Nothing at all

The staff were very professional, very nice. It is the hotel theme that I didn't enjoy. A pool table in the lobby??? Really? The room didn't have a coffee maker. No glasses or an ice bucket and a terribly stark room interior. The overall theme should really be under question. Someone from Corporate should visit.

The breakfast was good. There was a staff member, an older blonde-haired lady working during breakfast, who was very pleasant and continued to clean, refill items and straighten up the dining area.

We have been fans of Hilton’s Tru hotels and looked forward to this stay. When we arrived and carried our suitcases to our room, we discovered it had not been cleaned. We were assigned another room on the same floor. The hallway had Qtips, paper and popcorn strewn around, plus full wastebaskets lined the hall. We had no waste basket in our room, no little coffee pot, but a dirty coffee cup was left in the bathroom. Our blackout curtain was broken so couldn’t be used. Our soap dispensers needed filling. We also noticed a trash can at the entrance to the front door was overflowing.

The staff was friendly. They had coffee and tea available along with water. There was a lot of seating area in the lobby. And it was in a great location with lots of restaurants around it.

When we entered the room, our chair had crumbs and dirt on it so we had to call the front desk to have them come clean it. The toilet was clogged so we had to have the front desk come up and plunge it out. The furniture was not really wiped down because we saw water residue from the previous guests on a nightstand. Last thing, the floor was so sticky it felt gross to walk on. The staff was super helpful and wanted to make our stay comfortable, but it seems like there’s a disconnection between housekeeping and the front desk. Housekeeping could have been a lot better.

The room was dirty, the lamp base was smeared as was the door handle the mirror, the sink was not clean, residues on the shower & glass in the shower. They gave us another room, it was dirtier than the first. Too late to change hotel. Slept & left.

When we got to the hotel, we were told that we were in the wrong location, that our confirmation number didn’t match any of their numbers, and they said they couldn’t find our name in the system but we got charged for the rooms the next morning. We left because they said they didn’t have any rooms.

Clean and modern. Nice. Breakfast and and staff wonderful!
